A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Roxas nuzzled the side of Namine's head with his face, tears still falling from his eyes as he cried in front of her. He had hardly done that, but...he couldn't hold anything in anymore. Namine... He loved her, but his love was hurting her. How was that healthy?

Eventually, Namine did run out of tears. She sniffled, feeling Jasmine sniff at her leg as she kept her embrace around Roxas. He was crying too, and holding her...What did that mean? He wasn't acting like he hated her for what she did.

Roxas took in a shaky breath, only to sob again. Why did this always happen? Something (that he usually did) tore them apart and then they ran back into each other's arms. But...the cycle would repeat itself, and Roxas really didn't want it to. But what could he do?

Namine leaned into Roxas a little, gently shushing him without realizing what she was doing at first. This was so unlike him, crying in front of her. She didn't know what else to do but embrace him and be there with him.

Roxas heard Namine shush him gently, but he still cried. He pressed his hand into her back, keeping her closer to him as he released all of the sadness that had been in him the last week. I'm sorry, he wanted to say, but he knew that wouldn't fix anything...

Namine wished that Roxas's armor wasn't between them, but she couldn't ask him to summon it away. They hadn't even said a word to each other; they just embraced each other and cried.

Roxas lowered his head slightly, just a little more as more tears fell. This was awful, the amount of sorrow in his heart. He didn't know that he could feel this awful...

Namine kept her face in Roxas's neck, swallowing some of the junk that came up in her throat because of her crying. She needed to talk to him...She needed to know if she was forgiven since he was so angry at her. "D-do you hate me?" she asked him, hiccuping at the start of the first word.

Roxas only held onto Namine more. "...Never," he said weakly, tears still falling down his cheeks. He could never hate her. Never...

"I w-went be-behind you're back," Namine said, her speech obviously still choked up from all her crying. "And th-then you wouldn't t-talk to me. I th-thought you hated me..." Wasn't that why he avoided her for the past week? Because he was angry that she stuck her nose in the wrong place?

Roxas sniffled, lifting his head a little as one hand cupped the back of Namine's head. "You're wrong," he said thickly, swallowing so he couldn't cry anymore. He needed to stop.

Namine didn't understand. She had spent her whole week in confusion and that was the best thing she could think of to explain why Roxas wouldn't look at her. What else could she have done to make him ignore her so harshly?

"...I stayed away because I thought that was what you wanted," Roxas said quietly. "You didn't want to see me when I was so...different. But nothing's changed. I'm still the darker version of myself...even now." He just wasn't as awful.

Namine shook her head a little bit against Roxas's neck. "I just didn't want to see you when you were angry," she said weakly. She thought she made that clear when she saw him that day...

"I was angry...for a long time," Roxas answered, holding Namine to him. He was furious with Sora earlier about this whole thing, which was why he was so beaten up.

Namine didn't know what to say to that, so all that she did was sniffle and wait for Roxas to keep talking. He was angry, the whole week? Why would he be so furious to be able to hold onto his anger for so long? Was it something she did...?

"And...and I took it out on someone who was just trying to help," Roxas said, feeling the tears come back. He hated himself. How could he be so terrible to his best friend?!

Namine squeezed Roxas a little, though she didn't understand what he was talking about. Who had been trying to help him? She felt so out of the loop, especially since she avoided a lot of her friends lately.

Roxas looked down at one of his arms wrapped around Namine, seeing the bits broken off his armor from the fight. He closed his eyes and shook his head, summoning it away. He pulled Namine even closer to him then, where he could feel her more. He needed her...even if he tried telling himself that he didn't.

Namine exhaled a soft breath, feeling Roxas's warmth directly against her now. She wondered if he would ever finish that sentence, but she guessed that if it was important, he would say it. He said...he took out his anger, on somebody trying to help him. And he just had his armor on. Did that mean...?

Roxas closed his eyes, not knowing what to think or do or say. He was a wreck...and it was his own fault. That only made him grind his teeth together, his eyes squeezing even more tightly shut. Stupid.

"...Are you...still angry?" Namine asked, feeling Roxas's body tense up. She honestly was a bit afraid of him when he was angry, because in the past, he took it out on her and yelled at her. Of course she forgave him, but the memories still haunted her whenever she saw him furious.

"...At myself," Roxas answered weakly, but he held onto Namine. He didn't want to let go. He brought bad things upon everyone; Namine, and now Sora. He wouldn't be surprised if he did something stupid to Terra, Aqua, or Ventus. That would be just his luck.

Namine didn't know how to respond to that, but at least he wasn't mad at her. That was a relief. She leaned into him a little more, her head nuzzling against his neck and shoulder a little more.

Roxas loosened his hold on Namine a little bit, keeping his eyes closed. "If I do this again...stay away from me, okay?" he requested softly. "For good." He couldn't keep dragging her down like this. Namine deserved better than that.
