Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine immediately shook her head against Roxas, keeping a tight hold on Roxas even if his embrace around her loosened. "Never," she said weakly. She'd never stay away from him forever.
Roxas shook his head as well, in disagreement. "Don't say that..." he said. Namine couldn't stay with him if he was a threat to her in any way, like her happiness. It wouldn't be right for him to be in the way...

"Whether I say it or not, it's true," Namine said softly. She promised a long time ago that she would never give up on him, and she meant it. He was stuck with her.
"Namine..." Roxas said sadly, opening his eyes to look down at the ground behind her, seeing Jazzy sleeping now. Namine couldn't say things like that, even if they meant the world to Roxas. She had to think of herself...and how she would feel in the long run.

"Nothing you say will change my mind," Namine said, hearing how Roxas said her name. She would never break a promise to him, somebody that she loved deeply. If she did, she would break her own heart.
"What if it's not something I say, though?" Roxas said, his hands on Namine's back as he turned his head down to look at her. "What if it's something I do?"
  • Author
Namine withdrew a little, looking up at Roxas when he looked down at her. She shook her head to answer his inquiries. No, she still wouldn't stay away from him even if he did something hurtful. What would he even "do", anyway?
Roxas looked down at Namine with sad and fearful blue eyes. She was such a great person, and he didn't want to be the reason why she couldn't be. That would be awful... Roxas would mess her up completely.

Namine kept her eyes on Roxas's, though she was confused about the emotion other than sadness that was in his blue orbs. Fright? What did he have to be afraid of?
Roxas kept one of his hands against the middle of Namine's back, but his other hand came up to cup the side of her face. "I..." Roxas started softly, his eyes stuck on hers. "I...don't want to hurt you again. Not like I have." He would hate himself even more if he did it another time... It was unacceptable.

Namine realized then that that was what Roxas was afraid of. He was afraid of hurting her..."Then don't hurt me," she said softly. "You choose what to do..." Often, Roxas was impulsive and quick to anger. If he became more patient, then things would be better.
Roxas blinked at that, furrowing his eyebrows a little. What? Namine made it seem so simple...
  • Author
"Don't...be so impulsive," Namine elaborated, seeing the look on Roxas's face. "Think through things before you get angry. And..." She bit her lip, taking one of her hands away from Roxas's back and lifting his face. "...Be optimistic." Good things were going on around them; most of their friends were happy. They needed to be happy too.
"But..." Roxas said, his hand leaving Namine's face a little. When he got angry...he got angry; how was he supposed to sit back and think during that? And be optimistic? That was hard too, with all of the trouble going on...

Namine shook her head a little bit, her hand going to Roxas's shoulder. "No 'buts'," she said. "Just try...for me?" Patience was something he could gain through practice, and she would try to encourage him to be patient and slow to anger if he wanted her to.
Roxas stared at Namine for a minute, seeing the look in her eyes. She really wanted this from him, didn't she? Would it mean the world to her if he became a better person? She wanted him to try for her, and that was what would win him over in the end. "...Okay," he said finally. He would try.
  • Author
Namine nodded a little, embracing Roxas a little more as her head found his shoulder. He would try not to be angry...She was glad for that. Like she confessed the other day, he scared her when he was angry.
Roxas's hand that had been cupping Namine's cheek moved to the back of her head, the boy not knowing what just happened. Were they okay now? Or were things still...messy?
  • Author
Namine didn't know how she felt now. She had such a crazy emotional week, but her problems with Roxas weren't the only thing on her mind. She found out the truth about her illness at the start of it, and she had been coping with it by herself. She was doing a bad job of it, but she didn't feel like talking to Roxas about it right now.
Roxas stared down at the ground, wondering if he would get an answer to that question any time soon. And if he didn't...he would just assume that the answer was no. Something still felt wrong to him, so he wouldn't accept that everything was alright until that void in his heart was gone.
  • Author
Namine leaned into Roxas a little more, just glad that he was there and they were speaking again. Of course she was hurt that he ignored her for an entire week. Of course it hurt to have to carry her own burdens without him by her side. But also, of course she would forgive him when he was really sorry. She loved him, after all.
"...Namine?" Roxas called, holding onto the girl as waves rolled in nearby. There was still something he needed to tell her, something important.
  • Author
"Mm?" Namine hummed, taking her head off Roxas's shoulder a little bit as she looked towards his face. What else did he have to say?
"I...I'm sorry," Roxas apologized weakly, his eyes on hers. "For everything I've done. I don't mean for these things to happen. They just...do." He looked away then, sad. "And you're always part of it...and I hate that."
  • Author
"I know," Namine said softly, referring to Roxas hating the situations that always arose. But..."...I forgive you," she said to his apology. She always would forgive him, no matter what. No matter how badly she was hurt, like she was now.
