A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

I'm going in circles, Ven realized, opening his eyes and looking down at the sand. Thinking over this wasn't doing him any good. He felt like asking Aqua if she had any ideas, but he had a feeling she wasn't seeing a solution either.

Riku needed to tell Aqua and Ventus what was going on, so he turned around a little to look over his shoulder. He saw Aqua gazing in his direction and he waved a hand for her to come over. They all needed to talk.

 

"Ven," Aqua said quietly, trying to get his attention. Riku wanted them for something, able to see his gesture. She wasn't sure what was going on, but she would walk over anyway.

"Mm?" Ven hummed automatically, looking over at Aqua. Why did she call him; was something the matter?

"Riku wants us," Aqua spoke softly, her eyebrows furrowing as she kept her gaze on the older boy. She wordlessly started over there, trusting Ventus to follow. But what could they be needed for?

Ven followed behind Aqua, his hands coming down to his sides as he walked. What could Riku want them for? He had no clue what to expect, so he tried not to ponder it and just wait for Riku to say what was on his mind.

Kairi looked behind Riku, seeing two people approach. She recognized Aqua immediately, glad to see she was safe. But when her eyes went to the boy beside her, she blinked in confusion. Was that...Roxas?

Ven felt a gaze on him, and so he looked back at Kairi, seeing the confused expression on her face. He quickly figured out why that was: It was because she thought he was Roxas. "Hi, I'm Ven," he greeted her brightly, momentarily forgetting that Riku had called them over.

"I'm Kairi," the redhead greeted with a small nod, smiling a little despite herself because of the boy's bright personality. Ven? Wait, was this Ventus? He looked just like Roxas!

Ventus nodded slightly to Kairi, a smile still on his lips. But when he stopped next to Riku, he let his smile start to fade away. "What's up?" he asked, recalling why he was over here.

"We've found out where Sora's heart is," Riku said with a faint smile, one of relief. It was unbelievable how lucky they were with this, but also fantastic that Sora's heart was safe.

 

Aqua's eyes widened in surprise. "Where?" she asked the teen. They found it? But how?

 

Riku turned his head and looked at Kairi, that being his silent answer. He should have known that Sora's heart would find Kairi; they were connected.

Ventus followed Riku's gaze to Kairi, realizing that he was telling them the answer. "Seriously?" he said in awe. That was great! Sora...he was alright, and safe. He was so glad...

Kairi's small smile returned, the girl nodding. "Mm-hm," she hummed quietly. He was within her alright, thank goodness. She didn't want him anywhere else in this kind of situation.

 

"That's wonderful!" Aqua said with a relieved smile. So Sora was safe, and that was great. But how would they give his heart back to him?

Ventus felt a wide smile appear on his lips, the teen nodding. Alright, so now they didn't have to track down Sora's heart. But...they still had a problem, didn't they? Sora couldn't stay in Kairi's heart forever; he needed to come back and live his own life.

Kairi's eyes left Ventus and Aqua to look down at the boy she loved, lifting her hand back to her heart. Sora would be alright, whether he was inside her or his friends found a way for him to live again. He would be okay.

 

Riku's smile didn't last long when he thought of how a heart was returned to someone's body. Much like Ventus, Sora was in a similar situation. In order to get his heart back, they would have to extract Kairi's at the same time, and that was simply not happening.

Ven's smile gradually faded, his eyes on the person on the ground. Sora's heart and body were safe, but there was only one way for him to regain his life. Surely they all knew that...right?

Aqua turned her eyes to Ven, before then looking over at Riku. "...We're all thinking the same thing, aren't we?" she asked softly, smile no longer visible. They were all thinking of how impossible it was to get Sora's heart back...

 

Kairi looked up at Aqua at the question, registering her tone and seeing her expression. What was wrong?

 

Riku released a small breath and nodded once. He knew by Aqua's tone what she was referring to, and that was exactly what he was pondering himself.

"Mm," Ven hummed with a nod, looking up and gazing at the three friends around him. It was good to know where Sora's heart was and all, but there was no way for them to free him...

Kairi's blue eyes darted from Aqua to Ven, and then to Riku. "What is it?" she asked worriedly. "What's wrong?"

 

Riku closed his eyes, hating to break the news to Kairi, but she needed to know. "The only way we can get Sora's heart back is by extracting it from you," he said lowly in seriousness. "But if we do that, you'll lose your heart too. And that's not gonna happen." He wouldn't lose Kairi like he lost Sora. It would be too much.

 

Kairi's eyes grew a little, her expression representing how she was feeling. Scared and worried. So...what were they supposed to do?

Ven frowned, looking down at the sand. That was the only way to free a heart...right? He didn't know of any other way, but did somebody else out there know more about this?

"Xehanort's the only one I've seen do it," Riku continued after a small silence. "I don't know who else could do it...but it's still not an option. I won't allow it." He was very protective of his friends. He protected the things that mattered.

 

Aqua crossed her arms and looked down at the ground, trying to figure out something to solve this problem. She could only think of somebody that would know any answer to any predicament, and he was on another world. "...Master Yen Sid," she said then, turning her eyes to look at Ven. Maybe he would know something.

Ven looked over at Aqua, his friend thinking of the man a few seconds before he would have. "Yeah," he said, a smile starting to appear on his lips as he looked over at all the people by him. "Master Yen Sid has to know something that could help..." He was so wise; how could he not?

Riku opened his eyes and turned his head to look up at his two comrades. "We should go see him then," he said with a small nod. It couldn't hurt. Plus, Master Yen Sid was a very wise sorcerer. Perhaps he could help.

"Alright," Ventus said with a nod, his optimism showing even through that one word. He had only met the man briefly, but he knew how wise he was. Surely he could help them!

Riku turned his head to look at Kairi. "We'll leave Sora here with you," he said with a small nod. They couldn't take him with them everywhere; it could get dangerous. If Sora's body got destroyed...it wouldn't be good. At all.

 

Kairi nodded slightly in agreement, her eyes on her best friend. That was okay with her. "I'll look after him," she promised softly. She wouldn't leave his side.

Ven stayed silent during Riku and Kairi's interaction, almost able to picture Aqua promising the same thing when he was asleep. But he didn't want to dwell on that; he was awake now, and so he would do his best to set things right again.
