Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"N-no," Namine said, shaking her head. That wasn't what she meant at all. "I just didn't want you to feel like you had to walk me home." If he was comfortable on the beach, then he could stay.
"Oh..." Roxas said, furrowing his eyebrows as he let his eyes find his legs. Bad judgement on his part then.

Namine turned away in shyness, looking at Jasmine again. She shouldn't have felt so shy around Roxas, but that was how things were right now. It always was like this for a little while after they had problems.
"I'll go with you...i-if that's okay," Roxas said, looking back up at Namine. He didn't really want to sit on this beach by himself, even if the view was quite nice. This was Namine's spot, not his. Besides, he needed to go see Sora and talk to him.

Namine looked back at Roxas, smiling faintly and nodding to him. "Okay, let's go," she said, setting her feet underneath her so that she could rise with Jasmine in her arms. She forgot about her sketchbook, which was closer to Roxas than Namine.
Roxas glanced to his side, seeing Namine's sketchbook. He closed it without looking at any of the pictures and pushed himself up, holding it under his arm as he motioned for her to go on ahead. He wasn't sure how to get out of here anyway.

Namine started forward when she saw Roxas's motion, and that he had the sketchbook she almost neglected to remember. The walk would take a while, but oh well. That was the price she paid for privacy the past few days.
Roxas started after Namine, keeping close despite the fact that there was still a void in his heart. Things didn't feel alright, not to him. But he was still going to keep close to the person he loved. He'd been apart from her for long enough.

The walk took even longer than Namine expected; she hadn't realized how long it was when she was by herself since she was always lost in thought. She was especially glad she held Jasmine, who provided more warmth in the cool night air. She could also feel some of Roxas's body heat, though, since he was walking so close to her. But they were approaching the houses now, and they'd be on Riku's street in a minute.
Roxas stared at the ground as they walked, not minding the silence. His arm occasionally brushed against Namine's. A few times he had stupidly apologized, when he didn't really need to. But that was the only amount of conversation they had in the whole walk.

Namine stopped when she was at the end of Riku's walkway, the girl seeing that the lights of his home were still on. So, he was awake...She turned to Roxas beside her, knowing that he and Riku probably still weren't on good terms after what happened the other day. "You can wait here," she said softly. She didn't want any trouble starting this late at night, or at all.
"Right," Roxas said, nodding in agreement as he glanced at the house. Yeah, he didn't really want to see Riku. Namine probably got that.

Namine nodded slightly to Roxas, glancing back at him before she started up the path. Once she was at the door, she shifted her grip on Jasmine so that the dog was only in one arm. She lifted her free hand and rang the doorbell, glancing down at Jazzy before she looked back up and waited for Riku.
Riku left the living room and approached the front door, having a feeling of who the person behind the door was. When he opened it, his hunch was correct. "Hey," he said with a small smile, also seeing Jasmine in Namine's hands.
  • Author
"Hey," Namine said with a faint smile of her own, seeing Riku glance down at the dog sleeping in her arms. "Thanks for letting me borrow Jasmine for the day." It had been a pleasure drawing the dog, and having a companion like her in general.
Riku nodded a little, lifting his eyes to Namine. "Anytime," he said. As far as he knew, Jasmine really liked Namine, and it was the same for Namine too. The dog got a chance to get out of the yard because of that, so it was okay with Riku. He held out his hands to take her back, knowing that Namine probably wanted to get home.
  • Author
Namine looked down at the dog, shifting her grip on Jazzy so that she could hand her over to Riku. She as gentle with the pooch, not wanting to wake her up. She managed to hold her out to Riku, Jasmine somehow still asleep.
Riku took Jasmine back in silence, making sure to be careful with her. He brought her to his chest and looked down at her for a moment, but then lifted his eyes back to Namine. "So...how're you doing?" he asked. He hadn't talked to her much lately.
  • Author
"Um...I'm a little better...I guess," Namine said softly, lifting a hand and tucking back some of her blonde hair. She still had a lot on her plate, but at least she and Roxas were speaking again. That made her feel a little better.
"Roxas have something to do with that?" Riku asked softly, looking past the blonde to see the kid lingering at the end of the yard. He figured it must have been, but things always could turn around.
  • Author
"Yeah," Namine said, a weak smile tugging at her lips. Of course she wished things were better between her and Roxas, but she was glad that he wasn't ignoring her anymore. It was a start.
"Good," Riku said with a small nod, looking back to Namine. He was at least glad that they seemed to be talking. Roxas didn't understand how miserable Namine was, and how much he needed to be there for her.
  • Author
"Mm," Namine hummed, nodding faintly in agreement. It was good, and she was trying to follow the advice she had given to Roxas earlier that day. She needed to be optimistic, too. Things had to start getting better from here, didn't they?
"Well, I won't hold you up," Riku said with the same faint smile. "Go home and get some rest, okay?" Namine looked exhausted. Hopefully now that she and Roxas were speaking, she could sleep well.
  • Author
Namine weakly smiled, nodding once more. "Goodnight, Riku," she said softly. She would try her best to get some rest of her own, but even if she didn't, she hoped Riku got the rest he needed. She wouldn't wish anything less for one of her best friends.
