Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas glanced at Sora and smiled sheepishly. Right, not both plates. "Thanks," he said anyway, sitting down in front of one of the plates of food.

"Mm," Sora hummed, sitting in front of his own plate at the table. He grabbed the fork and started eating right away, the brunet hungry. But that was nothing strange; he was always hungry.
Roxas didn't dig in right away like Sora did. Instead, he picked up his plate and started to slowly eat his eggs. He was actually a little lost in thought, and probably would be for the next couple days. He needed to set things right, and try as hard as he could not to let them crumble to pieces again.

Sora glanced up at Roxas to see him slowly picking at the eggs, but he didn't comment on it. He knew not to mess with Roxas too much, especially not when he was clearly stressed. He was trying to help him out, not make things worse.
Roxas took a bite from his eggs, but didn't really taste them. His thoughts drifted to Namine, and if she got a good night's rest or not. He surely hoped so; she looked so exhausted and awful when he saw her yesterday. Sora was right; she had been miserable this past week.

Sora finished his plate and looked up at Roxas for a little while, seeing that he didn't seem to notice Sora staring. "How did things go?" he asked, obviously referring to Namine.
"Okay, I guess," Roxas said with a shrug, staring down at his plate. Things hadn't gone perfectly; they'd been too...awkward for that.

"Mm," Sora hummed, lifting his glass and taking a drink out of it. Well, that was good. He hadn't really expected things to be great after that, but at least Roxas seemed to feel like it was a good thing they talked.
Roxas took another bite, not knowing what to say. Would things ever be okay between him and Namine again? If they did get better, it would have to be with his effort, wouldn't it?
  • Author
"What are you going to do today?" Sora asked after he set his glass on the table. If Roxas wanted, the whole group could get together and he and Namine could be a part of it. Maybe everyone having fun together would help him feel better, since he obviously still wasn't okay.
Roxas shrugged. "I dunno. I didn't really have anything planned," he said softly, his eyes darting to his best friend's. The last week, he hadn't done anything but go to the island and just sit.
  • Author
"Maybe the group could get together and we could do something fun," he said with a faint shrug. That was the only idea he had in mind, and of course, he would try to make it goofy so everyone was happy again.
Roxas nodded. He didn't see why not. It was worth a shot, he supposed. It was better than moping around. And...Namine would be happy with that.

Sora nodded as well, noticing that Roxas was still quiet. Well, it was to be expected after how awful yesterday and the whole week was. But Sora, as Roxas's best friend, was going to try and change things. Roxas made the first step with Namine, so now he would help it along by helping the two of them start smiling again. He would do what he could for his two friends.
Roxas turned his attention back to his eggs after a second, stabbing them with his fork and taking another bite. What did Sora have in mind anyway? It could be anything...

Sora picked up his plate and went over to the sink so he wouldn't stare at Roxas when he ate, the brunet not really knowing what else to say. He didn't know what the group could do for fun, either. He had to come up with something...
Whatever happened today, Roxas hoped Namine enjoyed herself and he didn't ruin it. That was a common trend, and he wanted it to stop now, when things were starting to pick back up.

Sora ran the water over the dish, washing it as he thought. The weather was nice, but he didn't know if his friends would be up to anything active. But maybe not all of them had to be. If they just swam in the ocean and goofed off, then Roxas and Namine would have fun and be able to laugh at the goofiness even if they themselves weren't in the water.
Roxas held his fork but just stared at his eggs, sighing softly. Don't screw things up again, idiot, he scolded himself. You can't lose her... You just can't.
  • Author
Sora turned around at the sigh, eyebrows furrowed slightly as he looked at Roxas. He looked sad. "Roxas, you've been miserable all week," he pointed out to his best friend. "Now it's time to be happy. You two are talking again, aren't you?"
"Yeah, we are," Roxas answered, setting his fork down. That didn't mean things were okay. Even if he and Namine were talking to each other again, he still felt awful for what he'd done.
  • Author
"Then there you go," Sora said, motioning a hand to Roxas. "That's something that should make you happier. Things can only go uphill now that you two are more at peace with each other." He didn't know the specifics, but he could judge that things were going to start getting better now.
"Maybe," Roxas said, turning his eyes to look at Sora. "But talking doesn't always fix everything." For some reason, he had a feeling that would be the problem here. He would have to do something...something special.
  • Author
"No, it doesn't," Sora agreed with a nod. "But it helps." He knew from experience; whenever he and Kairi were in rough spots, they tried to talk it out. And they were together today, so that said their efforts weren't for nothing.
"Mm," Roxas hummed quietly, nodding as he let his eyes fall to the floor. So what could he do? He wanted Namine back, even if some people said he already had her. But he wanted her truly and completely. And he wanted himself back too; he didn't want to cause anymore trouble.
