Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas glanced at Namine out of the corner of his eye, but he didn't say anything. What was he supposed to say anyway? Things were still awkward for him...ever since he abandoned her.

Namine finished putting on the last details of the picture, this one being of her friends goofing off in the ocean. When she was done, she smoothed out the paper, an idea coming to mind. Roxas liked her drawings, and she had done a lot in the past week, so..."Do you want to see some pictures?" she asked him, looking over at him and holding out the book a little bit.
Roxas turned his head to look at Namine before his eyes fell to the sketchbook. "Oh, uh...sure," he said with a small nod. He always was interested in her drawings...

Namine nodded a little, lifting a hand and turning the pages so that she was at the page that she first started this week. There were a lot of pictures, so looking at them would take time and hopefully fix the awkwardness that was between Roxas and Namine. She scooted closer to him so that she was right by his side, this being the best way to hold the book so they could both see it.
Roxas leaned toward Namine a little bit, tilting his head to the side so he could examine the pictures. He instantly felt himself get absorbed into the detail of the first picture, able to tell how much hard work Namine put into it.

"You can turn the pages whenever you're ready," Namine said softly, looking down at the picture of the waterfall she had first drawn. It was good, but it wasn't her favorite.
"'Kay," Roxas murmured, already wrapped up in the drawing before him. He put weight on his arm closest to Namine, which was behind her slightly. He lifted his other hand to the corner of the page and lightly flipped it to the next one.

Namine saw the next picture that was revealed, this one also being of the waterfall but at a different angle and in color. This was one of her favorite drawings she had done, the shading good enough to almost make it look real even if it was just colored pencil.
Roxas blinked when he saw the picture, leaning a little closer to see the details. Wow... Namine was good, really good. And she did this when? He couldn't believe he missed her drawing these...

Namine smiled weakly, seeing how Roxas leaned in closer to look at the picture. "It's one of my best ones," she said softly. She had done a lot of great pictures during the past week, when she had so much time to herself. Drawing was her escape.
"No kidding..." Roxas said softly, holding one edge of the sketchbook as he looked at the drawing. He wondered how long it took her to do this one... It was so detailed.

Namine's smile widened a little in amusement, Roxas's tone so...full of awe. He saw a lot of her drawings, so she loved hearing that he liked this one as well. Of course, she had a feeling he would like even the worst of her drawings.
Roxas looked at the drawing for a little bit longer, looking at the colors blended together. But then he lifted his hand to the corner of the page and started to turn it over, revealing the next drawing.

Namine's smile faded away when she saw the next picture, one she had thought she tore out of her sketchpad or had in a different spot so Roxas wouldn't see it. It was of him...She had imagined him sitting on a cliff by the middle of the waterfall and smiling down. It was a great picture, but Roxas was randomly in it!!
Roxas blinked, letting go of the sketchpad. Wait... "This is...me?" he asked, his eyes on the person in the picture. It certainly looked like him, with the spiky hair and the eyes. And he was...happy.
  • Author
"Um...Yeah," Namine murmured, lifting a hand and shyly tucking back some hair on the side of her face furthest from Roxas. She had been thinking about him and wishing he could be there with her, so she drew him in the picture of the place she was at.
Roxas blinked, blue eyes wide in awe as he stared at the detail of his face and the way Namine had drawn his hair. Why did she draw him? And was this the place he found her yesterday? By the waterfall?
  • Author
Namine kept her gaze lowered to the sketchpad in shyness, not hearing anything else from Roxas. This was awkward...She should have thought things through before she showed him the sketchpad.
"...Why'd you draw me?" Roxas asked softly, turning his head to look at Namine. Did she...miss him? Was that why?
  • Author
"Um," Namine said shyly, keeping her gaze downward. "I...It was the first day I found that place, and I knew that you would like it, so I wished you were there, so...I drew you there." She had wanted him with her there, and that was the best she could have at that time.
Roxas's eyes softened at that. "...Sorry," he said softly, turning his head away and looking down at the sketchpad. He should have been there, but he wasn't because he was stupid.
  • Author
"Um, it's okay," Namine said softly. She hadn't said that to try to draw an apology out of him; she was just being honest. She wished he was there with her; she missed him. A lot.
"I should have been there..." Roxas whispered quietly. He would have loved to see Namine's face when she discovered that spot. He should have seen the look in her eyes. But he didn't.
  • Author
Namine bit down on her lips, hearing Roxas's tone. "...I shouldn't have brought this up," she said softly, referring to her pictures. "Sorry." She lifted her free hand and reached over a little so that she could close the sketchpad since the pictures were making Roxas sad.
"No." Roxas's hand stopped Namine's motion, his fingers set on the page they were currently on. His eyes moved from it up to Namine's face. He didn't want to stop...
