Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine noticed how Roxas's fingers were in the book making the page they had been on, his words also contradicting what Namine had thought he wanted. What was he saying no to, though? Did he still want to look at the pictures? She looked up at him, eyes showing surprise and curiosity.
Roxas's eyes darted over Namine's face but stopped on her eyes. "I wanna keep looking..." he said softly. "If that's alright." He loved her drawings, even if they brought out some unwanted emotions.

Namine hesitated briefly, but when she met his eyes, she nodded. She took her hand away from the edge of the book and set it back where it was before so that Roxas could open up the book again.
Roxas smiled weakly without thought, his eyes dropping to the sketchpad. He briefly heard the sound of laughter and splashing of his friends in the water, but he focused on the next picture he was looking at, taking in the details.

Namine leaned over a little closer so she could see the pictures as well, her head tilted slightly. She wasn't really focusing on the picture, though, thinking that she was sure she had only drawn that one with Roxas. That was good; she didn't want to make him feel bad about not being with her, even though she really wished he was.
Roxas knew he'd told Namine a thousand times how good she was, but it was true. She was great at art, with the pictures before him being proof. He turned to the next page, his eyebrows furrowed as he concentrated on what was drawn in front of him.

Namine smiled weakly at the picture, this one of palm trees on the beach. She was really glad she found that place where she could draw; there was a lot of pretty scenery that she was able to recreate in her sketchpad.
"How long does it usually take you to draw these?" Roxas asked, examining the picture for another moment before flipping to another. Namine was so specific with everything that he thought it would take ages.

Namine examined the picture Roxas currently had open in front of them, thinking about it. "It depends," she said after a few moments of thought. "This one only took an hour or two because it's pretty simple." Some of the others took much longer, especially if she colored them instead of just shading in details.
Roxas shook his head. "You're too patient," he commented lightly. He couldn't sit there for that long and work. That seemed so...boring to him. But watching Namine was different for some reason.

Namine shrugged lightly, able to tell that the remark was a light-hearted one. She didn't really think there was such a thing as being "too patient" anyway. "It's exciting, when you can draw things that almost look as good as the real thing," she said softly in thought. "But disappointing, too, because you can never fully capture the beauty of the actual thing."
Roxas glanced from the picture to Namine. "I think you nailed it," he said softly. It looked real enough to him, but artists always were their worst critics anyway.

Namine looked up at Roxas, smiling weakly even though she didn't agree with him. "Thanks," she said. She did put a lot of effort into the pictures, and she thought they turned out really well for the most part.
"Mm," Roxas hummed with a small nod. His lips briefly formed a small smile as his eyes lingered on the girl he loved. The one he would always love, no matter what.

Namine kept her eyes on Roxas's for a few moments, a soft smile still on her lips. This was...nice. It felt like things were how they normally were despite how they hadn't spoken in a while and things still weren't completely right between them.
Roxas wanted nothing more at that moment than to show his affection to Namine, but...he didn't think it was the best time. Not yet. He instead let his blue eyes gaze into hers, just admiring her while completely ignorant of what was going on around him.
  • Author
Just like usual, though, Namine started to feel shy when Roxas stared at her. "Um," she said shyly, looking back down at the sketchpad. "I think the next one is pretty good, if I'm thinking of the right out." Of course she was referring to the picture on the next page of the book.
Roxas blinked at the mention of the pictures. He had forgotten all about them. He looked down at the sketchpad and cleared his throat a little. "Oh, uh...right," he said with a small nod. He lifted his hand and flipped to the next one, getting back on track.

Namine returned to her previous position, not feeling shy when her arm stayed against Roxas's because of how close they were sitting. Looking down at the sketchpad, she realized that this was the one that she was thinking of before. It was one she drew of the sunset, with all the colors filled in. It was pretty.
Kairi stood in the water up to her stomach, though she turned her attention away from the others to focus on Namine and Roxas. A smile instantly came to her lips when she saw how close they were, and how close they appeared emotionally. Good for them.

Sora saw Kairi looking off to Roxas and Namine, and he did his next action for two reasons. One was because he didn't want the blonds catching her staring, and the other was because he wanted to be a goofball. He stepped over and grabbed Kairi's waist from behind, tickling her.
Kairi shrieked, her eyes widening before squeezing shut at the tickling sensation. She started wiggling, laughter leaving her instantly. "Sora!" she cried. She knew it was him; she couldn't mistake his touch for anyone else.
  • Author
Sora just laughed, continuing to tickle Kairi. This what she got for not actively being a goof! She wasn't laughing enough, so he was getting her to laugh right now to make up for it.
Kairi's laughter left her involuntarily, the girl unable to help herself. "S-Sora!" she said between laughs, trying to grab his hands. "Stop i-it!"
  • Author
Sora gave into Kairi's demands, though he knew that he could torture her for a little longer. He wrapped his arms around Kairi from behind, his hands lightly over her stomach as he smiled sweetly at her by her shoulder.
