Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"You wish to have help with Master Xehanort?" Master Yen Sid asked the three young people in front of him, mainly focused on Riku since he asked the question. "Or is it another matter that you seek counsel on?" He wasn't a fool; he figured that he was asking about a person they had mentioned in their retelling of the story. Sora no longer possessed his heart; surely they wanted advice about that matter, correct?

Riku's arms remained at his sides, at attention to the former Keyblade Master. "Master Xehanort is a severe matter, sir, but it's Sora's heart that we ask for guidance," he answered smoothly.

Aqua nodded once again in agreement, eyebrows furrowed in seriousness. "It seems that since his heart has found a place within Kairi, it is nearly impossible to retrieve it," she added. "In order to remove his heart, we would have to do the same with hers. That isn't a risk we're willing to take."

  • Author

"Unfortunately, that is correct," Master Yen Sid said, a frown present on his lips. "The only way to retrieve Sora's heart would be to sacrifice that of Kairi." The three people in front of him probably wanted a response that would help them retrieve Sora's heart without sacrificing Kairi, but that was not possible as far as he knew.

"Are there any other ways, sir?" Aqua asked, desparate for a positive answer. They had to get Sora's heart back; they needed him on this quest. "Any that don't require removing two hearts at once?"

Master Yen Sid gravely shook his head, that being a response he gave along with a verbal one. "I am afraid not," he said with a frown. The heart was a mysterious thing; it would only leave its current home if it was force out somehow.

"Oh..." Aqua said in defeat, lowering eyes to the ground. That was such a shame... So the Master didn't know a way to help them?

Riku closed his eyes, disliking that answer, even if it was the truth. Then...how were they supposed to get Sora's heart back?

"The heart is a curious thing," Master Yen Sid, continuing with the truth despite the sad expressions he saw in front of him. "It will not leave its current residence unless it is forced out." He wished it weren't that way, but that was how things were.

"The only person that knows how to do that is Master Xehanort," Aqua said, her eyes remaining on the floor. They couldn't possibly even consider him as an option; he couldn't get anywhere near a Princess of Heart, and he already got what he wanted with Sora. Besides, he was their enemy.

"You are correct, Master Aqua," Master Yen Sid said with a nod. Even he did not know how to extract a heart, though he used to be skilled with a Keyblade in his younger days. Xehanort was the only person that existed who could accomplish that task.

Aqua lifted her eyes to Master Yen Sid. "But we can't possibly go to him," she said. "That would be a death sentence, even if he is waiting for us." Master Xehanort was obviously waiting to see Ven, which was terrifying Aqua to the core. History couldn't repeat itself, but they also couldn't allow Master Xehanort anywhere near the people they were trying to protect.

"You cannot go to him concerning Sora," Master Yen Sid agreed, keeping his gaze on Master Aqua when he spoke. "Regardless, you must go. If Xehanort is left alone long enough, he will grow strong enough to permanently scar the worlds with Darkness." Xehanort was wicked, and extremely powerful. The fate of the worlds was in the hands of the three in front of him, and Terra, if he were to join the battle again.

"Right away, sir," Aqua said with a nod. "But I'm afraid one of us is going to stay behind." Her head turned, her eyes falling on Ven. She couldn't risk him getting hurt again; he would have to go back to Destiny Islands, or stay here with Master Yen Sid.

Ven felt a gaze on him, and so he looked over to see that Aqua was referring to him. "What? No way!" he said, shaking his head. She couldn't keep him out of this; he wanted to fight to save all his friends on other worlds, and Terra!
"I'm sorry, Ven," Aqua said softly, then shaking her head. "But we can't have you walking right into Master Xehanort's trap." He wanted Vanitas to be reborn, and certainly Ventus knew that. It couldn't happen again.
  • Author
"You two won't stand a chance against him!" Ven said, determination coming through in his voice. The three of them--Sora, Riku, and Aqua--they lost to Xehanort and there were three of them. If it was just Riku and Aqua, Xehanort would probably kill them both!
"We'll have Terra," Aqua replied, her voice remaining at its normal level. Terra was still trapped in the Keyblade Graveyard after what happened to him so long ago. "And even if he can't help us, that's a risk I'm willing to take."
  • Author
"No," Ventus said, shaking his head. "I'm helping too." Terra being there only gave Ven more reason to fight, since he wanted to help his friend in anyway he could. Maybe he could drag something out of Xehanort that could help Sora or Terra.
Aqua's eyebrows furrowed at Ven's persistence. "I said no, Ven," she told him strictly. "I'm not going to lose you to him again." Master Xehanort couldn't take him again... She couldn't let that happen.
  • Author
"You're right; you're not," Ventus said, eyebrow furrowing in determination. "If I don't fight with you guys now, then Xehanort will find me later. I can't hide from him, Aqua." In a way, he wished he could, but that wasn't how things were. Xehanort would find him and have his way later if he survived a battle against Riku, Aqua, and Terra. And surely he would survive, or at least flee and find Ven when he was alone.
Aqua turned her head away, looking forward and down at the floor. What could she do? She couldn't possibly allow Ventus to come with her. She wanted to protect him, and she couldn't let Terra see her fail since she promised him she would get Ven back.
  • Author
"You couldn't get rid of me before, so you can't do it now, either," Ven said, a small smile on his lips because he knew that he was right. In the past, Aqua had found him going to different worlds and constantly told him to go home. But he hadn't, and he wasn't about to do anything like that now when there was a big threat around. If Aqua didn't let him come with her, then he would go alone.

Aqua closed her eyes, feeling sad. Why couldn't he just understand that it was too dangerous for him now? Master Xehanort was stronger than ever! "But, Ven--"

"Let him go," Riku cut in, eyes on the youngest Keyblade Master in the room. When Aqua turned to him in shock, he only continued. "There's no point in arguing over this. We're only wasting time." He glanced over at Ven before looking back at the only woman in the room. "He's like Sora--he'll go one way or another, so you might as well just accept that he'll be involved."

  • Author
"Mm," Ven hummed with a nod, fully agreeing with Riku. He and Sora were a lot alike in that. He had always thought that Sora was stubborn, but he supposed that he was the same way. Oh well; anything to protect his friends.
Aqua's wide eyes looked back at the floor, the girl stunned at Riku's intervention. She lifted her gaze to the sorcerer, stepping forward toward his desk. "Master Yen Sid, please explain to them how dangerous this is for Ven," she said, practically begging him for assistance. She was scared for him!
  • Author

Master Yen Sid shook his head, looking at Aqua. "They know of the danger, Master Aqua," he said. "But nothing can sway the heart once its decision has been made." Ventus was determined to go, and so he would do anything in his power to join in with this battle.
