A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

A few days later...

 

Terra and Sora were on their flight back to Destiny Islands, the two of them having found the source of the problem. Giant Heartless in some world that was unfamiliar to Terra. Sora had called it Port Royal. But Terra wasn't concerned about that; he was wondering how such a strong Heartless came about. Unknown to him, Sora was wondering the same thing as they came through a portal and entered Destiny Island's atmosphere.

Aqua didn't notice that Terra and Sora were back from their trip, her thoughts somewhere else entirely. Axel just brought some devastating news about the alternate Twilight Town, and now she had a frown set on her face. This was awful...

Sora landed on the beach after Terra did, the brunet summoning away his armor when Terra did. But he spoke before he could walk away. "Hey, Terra?" When the older man gave Sora his attention, he continued. "I was just thinking...Who could have died to create a Heartless that strong?"

 

"I'm not sure," Terra responded, shaking his head faintly and thinking back to the battle. It was really tough; he and Sora had a hard time against the giant beast. "You know anybody out there that could be that big of a threat?"

 

Sora folded his arms over his chest, looking down at the ground in thought. Maleficent, perhaps, but he had a feeling that the Heartless wasn't caused by her. These days, she was minding her own business and not creating any trouble. So who else could have turned into such a giant, powerful Heartless?

Riku was pacing back and forth next to his friends, his eyes set on the ground as his feet stepped through some water that rolled up on the beach. How could this have happened? Who could have hacked into the alternate Twilight Town, like Axel said? It was locked up!

"Do you think..."

 

"...It's Master Xehanort's?" Sora finished before Terra could, having that suspicion himself. When Terra nodded, he looked at him and tried to piece together everything. "It's a possibility. That means that the Heartless must have been around for a while, though. He must have been gaining power over time, because I would have sensed the threat sooner if he was this strong all along."

 

"Makes sense," Terra said with a nod, not noticing his friends further down the beach. "But doesn't this mean that Master Xehanort can return?" He was a bit confused about how a Somebody returned; the explanations never made much sense to him.

 

"It's not likely," Sora said, faintly shaking his head. "His Nobody needed to be destroyed after his Heartless. Xemnas is either dead or trapped in the alternate Twilight Town forever. Either way, there's no way that Master Xehanort can come back now." He noticed Terra nod and show a bit of relief, though Sora wasn't surprised by that. Xehanort was a cruel man.

"I don't get it," Roxas said, rubbing the back of his head as he looked at the others. "Who could have hacked the program? You don't think it was them, do you?" He was referring to the Organization, or what was left of them. The X-blade was supposed to explode...

 

Aqua shook her head, not knowing how to answer that question. She certainly hoped Roxas was wrong with that suspicion.

"There's only one way to find out," Axel said, standing with the group who he had just informed about the occurrence with the Alternate Twilight Town. They needed to go check it out, just as soon as Sora and Terra got back from the mission they were on. If this was the Organization, they'd need their help.

Riku stopped pacing and nodded once, knowing what Axel was referring to. They needed to go to that computer room and see for themselves what went wrong. He heard Kairi gasp and he followed her gaze, seeing that Sora and Terra had returned. Good timing on their part.

"Do you think there's any way they're all alive within the system somehow, and that Xemnas could still possibly die after his Heartless?" Terra was asking Sora, the two of them still conversing on the beach.

 

"Terra, you're worrying too much," Sora said, much more lighthearted than the older Keyblader. "Xemnas is taken care of. If he was going to die, he would have done it already. My guess is that he and the rest of the Organization were killed when the X-blade went crazy." He saw Terra nod faintly to that, though he didn't look too sure.

Aqua turned around, her eyes locating the two boys that just got back. "Terra! Sora!" she called, cupping a hand around her mouth to make her voice louder. Unfortunately, they didn't come home to good news.

Terra and Sora both looked up at the call, the two of them turning to look where the rest of their friends were gathered. And Axel was with them? He shared a curious look with Sora before he started to jog forward with Sora. Something didn't feel right...

Kairi's eyes trailed the boys' movements, though they weren't exactly thrilled to see them. She couldn't be, not with this news that had just been brought upon them. They would have to leave again, and it could be very dangerous.

Sora and Terra stopped by the group, and he could immediately tell that something wasn't right here. "What's going on?" he asked, eyebrows furrowed slightly as he looked around the group and saw their expressions. Something must have happened when they were gone, but everyone was here, unhurt...

"The virtual Twilight Town was hacked into from the inside," Riku said, taking a small step forward to stand next to Ven in the circle. "There's a bad hunch that it was Xemnas." There was no other way for someone to get inside, and the Organization members were all who were there.

Sora was surprised Riku said that, since he and Terra had just been discussing this a few minutes ago. "Hacked from the inside? How is that even possible?" The X-blade should have destroyed everything...

Aqua shook her head. "We're not quite sure, but the only logical conclusion is that the Organization survived," she said, glancing from Sora to Terra. The X-blade mustn't have exploded after all.

Terra frowned, glancing at Sora before he looked at the rest of his friends. This was what he was afraid of. "When did this happen?" he asked, looking over everyone. It was so strange that this would happen around the time Sora and Terra defeated a Heartless that could have been the one connected to Xemnas...

Roxas glanced at Axel at the question, but then looked back to Terra. "Last night, I think," he said. It would make sense to do it then...

Sora's eyes widened slightly, and he folded his arms over his chest as he looked to the ground. "...Huh." Last night was when he and Terra had been fighting the giant Heartless. They had fought that thing for hours before killing it, and they ended up sleeping in Port Royal because they were so tired. But that was beside the point. How could two significant events happen at the same time if they weren't connected?

"...What're you thinking?" Kairi asked softly, looking over at the boy she loved. Sora looked like his mind was turning, so he must have been thinking of something.

Sora looked up at Kairi's question, though he then shifted his gaze to the whole group. "I was right when I sensed something was wrong out there," he explained, unfolding his arms. "There was a giant Heartless terrorizing Port Royal. We defeated it last night." And the alternate Twilight Town was unlocked at the same time? That couldn't be coincidence.

"And somebody hacked into the program that same night," Riku said, concluding a thought he just had after Sora spoke. He crossed his arms, frowning. "Looks like we have some sort of link between the Heartless and the hacker."

 

"I think we only have one choice then," Aqua said, looking around at her friends. They had to leave right away to take care of this; Terra and Sora couldn't rest up. There was no time.

Ven nodded, knowing where Aqua was going with this. "Let's get going," he said. They had to take care of this; it would be terrible if the Organization escaped that Twilight Town. The last time they faced those people, it had been a painful experience. He didn't want to do it again, so it was best to end it quickly if they had to.

Aqua nodded once with a small hum. She was ready when the others were, which was hopefully right away. They had to get going as soon as possible.

Namine squeezed Roxas's hand, which she had been holding for the whole conversation. She was worried about him leaving, but there was nothing she could do to help him or change the situation. As long as he was with everyone else, though, hopefully he would come back safely.
