Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"...Where are we?" Ven asked, looking around the room as he fought against his pounding headache. This certainly wasn't the Keyblade Graveyard.

"Hollow Bastion," Terra replied without hesitation. "We brought you back here after the battle." It was easier to say that than to say they brought him here when he collapsed and scared them half to death. He had been so worried over his best friend; it was good to see his eyes now.

Aqua furrowed her eyebrows slightly in concern. "Are you alright?" she asked Ven softly. If she needed to, she would help out with a Cure spell. She didn't want him suffering through any pain.

"Just a really bad headache," Ven mumbled, eyebrows furrowed slightly as he looked towards the ground. He didn't think that a Cure spell would help with that, though; this wasn't a physical injury, unless he hit his head when he fainted.
"No problem," Aqua said, shaking her head slightly. "A Cure spell should do the trick." Unless, of course, somebody pointed out that it wouldn't; she would just be wasting magic if that was the case.

"I don't think so," Ventus said softly, faintly shaking his head. This pain was because of how his returned memories impacted him, not because of some physical injury that magic could cure.
Aqua's soft smile went away at that, the girl blinking in thought. Well, then why was Ven's head hurting so much then? She was slightly confused.

"...Xehanort got away, didn't he?" Ven asked softly, looking from Aqua to Terra. Thinking over it now, it made sense how Xehanort would create a diversion of some king to escape.

"Yeah," Terra confirmed with a nod, though he still wanted an explanation for what Ven meant about a Cure spell not helping him. "Ven...What happened?"

"He..." Ven shifted his gaze to the ground, thinking of how to explain. "He somehow gave me all of my memories back, from the first half of my life," he said softly. "All of them hitting me at once made me...collapse."

Aqua frowned at that, glancing at Terra before looking back to Ven. So...he had all of his memories back, completely? She remembered him barely remembering his name in the past, when he first showed up at their home to train under Master Eraqus. But now he knew everything?

"It hurt really bad," Ventus said softly, keeping his gaze downward. And his head still hurt because of it, like he told Terra and Aqua just a minute ago.
"Do you need anything?" Aqua asked, squeezing Ven's hand lightly. She couldn't imagine that kind of pain, but she would do what she could to lessen it. He was her best friend; she would do anything to keep him from suffering.

Ven shook his head faintly against the pillow, lifting his eyes to Aqua and Terra again. "I just want to sleep some more," he said softly. Hopefully the headache would go away on its own eventually.
"Mm," Aqua hummed with a small nod. "Alright then. We'll let you get some rest." She smiled weakly at her best friend before taking her hands away from his. Even if he just woke up, Ven probably was weak. He needed the rest.

Terra set a hand on the bed and pushed himself up, looking down at his best friend on the bed. "Sleep well, buddy," he said softly, receiving a faint nod and a smile from Ven.
Aqua pushed herself up from her chair and smiled down at Ven. She was about to tell him to let them know if he needed anything, but she was sure he already knew that; taking care of him was no problem. The girl tore her eyes away from the boy who felt like family to her, starting out of the room.

Terra smiled faintly at Ventus and then nodded faintly, starting out of the room with Aqua. Ven would be okay; he was so optimistic, even if he wasn't alright at the current moment. Hopefully his rest would help him get better more quickly. When he was out of the room, he softly shut the door behind him so Ven could sleep.
Aqua lifted a hand to her short hair as she walked down the hall, heading to the kitchen. It was so quiet in their rental house, and had been for a while until Ven woke up. But now that he was going back to sleep, it was silent again.

Terra walked down the stairs to the living room, which was empty. That wasn't surprising; he, Aqua, and Ven were the only ones in this house anyway. He exhaled a soft breath and plopped down on the couch, laying down across the furniture as he stared up at the ceiling. Ven waking up was terrific, but they still had a lot of problems to face. Xehanort was still out there.
Aqua glanced at Terra when he went into the living room, the girl going in the opposite direction to the kitchen. When she got there, she reached for a glass in a cupboard, but once she had it, she set it down. She wasn't even thirsty...

Terra was lucky. Things could have turned out awful at that battle; Xehanort had been about to take his life. Even if that would have freed Master Eraqus, who certainly had a right to live, that scared him. He had almost lost his life, and another person had thrown herself in front of him so that she would die too...That scared him even more than him losing his own life.
Aqua knew what she was avoiding, and it was what happened back at the Keyblade Graveyard. She had been acting so irrationally for a Keyblade Master, but she couldn't help it. Terra... She wouldn't let herself neglect to protect him. She just had to.

It has to do with your feelings for her, doesn't it? Terra thought, his eyes closing then. That was exactly it. That night at the ball, he realized that he could possibly have romantic feelings for Aqua. And since then, he realized that he really did like her that way. That only intensified how protective he felt of her, and how scared he would be if she died.
Even if that meant that she would lose her own life, Aqua couldn't make herself let go of Terra then. The girl looked down at her hands, remembering how tightly she had clung to Terra the day before. She had been so scared and acted simply on instinct, but it was the right instinct, even if she would have died herself in the process. Terra couldn't die... She just couldn't let that happen.
  • Author
You really should talk to her about that, you know, Terra told himself. He sighed softly after that, lifting a hand and putting it behind his head then. He knew, but there was just so much going on right now. His worry for Ven had kept him from doing anything in the past day, but now that he was alright, was it okay for him to approach Aqua?
Aqua sighed softly, bringing a hand to her forehead. The logical thing to have done would have been to attack Xehanort, not get in front of his Keyblade. What made me do that? the girl asked herself. What in my heart caused me to cling to Terra in such a way?

"...Now or never," Terra mumbled, though he didn't move off the couch. Instead, he just stared at the ceiling. Now probably wasn't a good time. They had to focus on Xehanort, Saix, and Vexen. They were still out there somewhere, but none of them knew where to look since they wouldn't go to the Keyblade Graveyard again. They had to focus on the mission...
