Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua removed her hand from her forehead when she felt a warm sensation within her heart. The girl looked down at it with confused eyes before lifting both of her hands to her chest. What did this mean? Is there...more to me and Terra than I realized before?

Terra sat up, turning on the couch and setting his feet on the ground. He lifted a hand and rubbed his temple, thinking. There was no way they could track down Xehanort. They all agreed on that when they talked yesterday. And they couldn't know for sure which target he would focus on: he was obviously after Sora for the X-blade, and after Terra for his body. Ven was just an innocent victim, or so they figured. But where would Xehanort strike next? Would he go for Sora, or Terra? It was nerve-wracking, knowing he could be ambushed at any time.
Aqua shook her head, closing her eyes. "That's absurd..." she whispered to herself. That couldn't be true. She and Terra had been best friends for so long. But, Sora and Kairi had been best friends before they became a couple... Could the same be happening to her and Terra?

Terra shut his eyes, exhaling a soft breath. He needed sleep. He hadn't gotten much of it because he had been worrying Xehanort would ambush them when Ven was still unable to fight. But nothing had happened...yet. Xehanort could still pop up at any time. He could still lose his life and lose everything that was precious to him. He...was scared.
"It's...a possibility," Aqua said softly, opening her eyes and looking toward the doorway. Terra... Her best friend. Could she really...?

Xehanort must be regaining his strength after he lost his last fight, Terra thought. That meant that they were probably safe for a few days, so they could regain their strength and energy too. He really didn't have to be so paranoid, did he? No, of course not. His fear was making him think irrationally. That was it.
Aqua sighed softly, reaching for the glass. She needed something to drink now, her thoughts making her feel quite dizzy. She poured herself some juice before putting it back in the fridge, then grabbing her glass and walking out of the kitchen, heading for the living room.

All they could do was wait now, for Xehanort to return. Sometime, he would probably signal them to meet him in the Keyblade Graveyard. He liked it when they came to him for battle. Everything revolved around him. That stupid, selfish, wicked, manipulative, hurtful...Terra trailed off with the insults in his head, his eyes still closed and to fingers on his temple. He was leaning forward on the couch, the elbow of that arm resting on his knee.
Aqua stopped in the doorway to the living room, her eyes finding Terra instantly. She furrowed her eyebrows, wondering what was wrong. Must be Ventus, she thought silently. It made sense, since she was worried about him too. The girl held her glass in her hand before making her way to a chair next to where Terra was sitting on the couch.

Terra sensed the footsteps, since he wasn't letting his guard down until Xehanort was killed. He lowered his hand and clasped both his hands on front of him, his eyes finding Aqua. She had been in the kitchen for a while, or so he thought. Hadn't he been thinking for quite a few minutes now? He chased the thoughts off, knowing they didn't really matter.
"You're still worried about Ven, aren't you?" Aqua asked softly, sitting herself down and pulling her legs up on the wide chair. She held her glass in both hands, eyes on Terra. Perhaps it wasn't just Ventus; it could be what happened at the Graveyard, like she had been thinking of. But she didn't want to bring that up, in case that wasn't it.

Terra shook his head faintly, looking over at Aqua. "No," he said softly. "I know Ven'll be alright." He was strong enough to overcome this; his positive attitude came through in their short talk when he was awake earlier. Ven always was strong enough to handle whatever it was life threw at him, and do it with a smile.
"Mm," Aqua hummed softly with a small nod. She looked down at her glass then, bringing it up to her lips and taking a sip of her juice. Terra was right; Ven would be okay. He always was.

Terra shifted his gaze to his clasped hands, unclasping them and then putting them back together again. He was thinking about the situation in general, but he knew talking about that would surely bring up what Aqua did at the Keyblade Graveyard. ...Was that alright?
Aqua lowered her glass and held it in both hands, staying silent now. All she could hear was the ticking of the clock on the wall, which she looked up at. It was late afternoon, not that she really minded; what was there to do but rest up after what happened the day before? Besides, somebody needed to stay with Ven.

"I never got to say thank you," Terra finally said, looking over to Aqua and nodding faintly. She saved his life, and offered to give up hers in the process. He was touched, even if he didn't want her ever doing that again.
Aqua looked over at Terra, but upon understanding what he was referring to, she glanced at the ground. "Oh...um, don't mention it," she said softly, looking up at him briefly before shyly returning her gaze to the glass in her hands.

Terra understood why Aqua was shy about this; he was shy about it too. That was why he looked down at his hands. "I just have one more thing to say about it," he said, hoping Aqua would hear him out.
Aqua looked up under her lashes at Terra, listening for what he needed to say. "Alright," she said quietly. She wasn't exactly sure where this could go, so she would just wait.
  • Author
"Don't ever do it again," Terra said firmly, keeping his gaze down. Aqua could never get in front of a blade for him again, especially not Xehanort's. He couldn't...live, without her. She was even more special to him than just a best friend now.
Aqua blinked at Terra's tone, hearing how strict he was with her. But, there was a problem with his order. "I...can't make any promises," she said softly. She wasn't going to hold herself back from defending him; she would never.
  • Author
Terra shook his head faintly, looking over at Aqua. "Yes you can," he said, firm because he felt like he needed to be. "Promise me you'll never put yourself in that position again." She couldn't die for him...She just couldn't.
Aqua looked at him for a moment, thinking about it. Terra was her best friend, and had been for so long... She couldn't imagine life without him anymore, and the time she had gone without him after returning from the Realm of Darkness... She wasn't willing to go through that again. "Terra..." she said softly, looking down at the ground. Aqua knew she couldn't make that promise. Terra was important to her; she couldn't watch him die from the sidelines.
  • Author
Terra's eyes softened at how she spoke his name, and he knew that again she was going to say she couldn't make that promise. He looked down towards the ground, his own tone changing to a softer one. "You can't...just...set yourself up to..." He found himself stuttering in the sentence, which was unlike him. He sounded like such a fool...
Aqua stayed quiet, listening to Terra. She couldn't tell him she would make that promise, because it would be a lie. And she never did things like that. If Terra ever needed her, she was going to be there...
