Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku turned his head when he sensed a presence, seeing Terra enter the Bailey. And by the look on his face, he looked really off guard. "You know, it's not exactly smart to wander alone when Xehanort's still on the loose," he said lowly, the man walking right in front of him as he stayed hidden in the shadows.

Terra grunted, halting at the voice. He automatically summoned his Keyblade and pointed it at the throat of the speaker, though there was probably about a foot separating the blade from them. He looked and narrowed his eyes a little to see into the darkness, and when he saw who it was, he summoned his blade away. "Jeez, Riku, don't sneak up on me like that!" he scolded. He was ready to take his head off.
Riku had stiffened slightly when the blade was pointed at him, but once it was summoned away and he heard Terra's words, he shrugged. "It's what I do," he said with a small smirk. He snuck up on people all the time, even when he didn't mean to; he was just naturally quiet.

Terra shook his head in disapproval stepping away a bit so Riku could come out of the shadows. "Some hobby," he said, a small smirk appearing on his lips as well. He could see how it would be fun sometimes, but still, now wasn't the time for fun and sneaking around.
Riku chuckled shortly before pushing himself away from the wall. He walked into the light but stopped next to Terra, that way the man could see him clearly now. "You alright?" he asked. Terra wasn't usually so on edge.
  • Author
"Just on guard," Terra responded with a faint nod. "Have to be if I want to wander alone." Riku pointed out that it wasn't smart to be alone, and he was right. But at least Terra was obviously prepared for somebody to come at him, even if he was pretty positive nobody would.
"Why would you want to wander alone?" Riku asked, lifting an eyebrow. Okay, so Terra had a point with being on guard, but what would make him want to walk around the outskirts of Hollow Bastion by himself? And at night?
  • Author
"I could ask you the same thing," Terra said, motioning a hand to Riku. What was a kid like him doing out by himself and hiding in the shadows? Granted, he wasn't much of a kid anymore, growing up and mature beyond his years. But he figured Riku would be keeping an eye on Sora since he was a target of Xehanort's.
"I needed some time to think," Riku said with a small shrug. He wasn't exactly wandering; he was just sitting around. This was the farthest he'd gotten from town, which wasn't very far. Terra seemed to have gone farther away than he had.
  • Author
"Any of that something you wanna talk about?" Terra asked, referring to what Riku was thinking about. He could take a guess that it was either about Sora or Xehanort. If it was the latter, then they had something in common, since Terra had been thinking about him too.
"Xehanort," Riku answered quietly, turning so he could go sit on the ledge that let him see the old castle. "I think that explains enough." Xehanort hadn't left his mind, and it was aggravating but scary at the same time. He was so unpredictable that it was unnerving.
  • Author
Terra hummed in understanding, seeing Riku walk over to an area where he would be able to sit down. Terra just turned and faced him, a few feet away from that ledge anyway. "You're wondering when we'll see him again?" he assumed.
"Yeah," Riku said, turning and propping himself up on the ledge. He lifted a knee up, resting one of his arms against it as he looked over at Terra. "Aren't you?"
  • Author
"I am," Terra confirmed with a nod. "But I'm sure that we have at least a few days before he'll pop up again." Xehanort was predictable to him; he knew how the man thought. He would take a few days to recover and then put a new plan in action. Terra had no doubt about that.
Riku kept his eyes on Terra at that. "Aren't you a little nervous?" he asked, already implying that he was. It was uncommon for him to be that way, but Xehanort was too...powerful not to be afraid of.
  • Author
"Of course," Terra responded, eyebrows furrowing as he looked towards the ground and folded his arms over his chest. "We know Xehanort's plans, but we don't know what he'll act on first. We all have to be on guard." Last battle, he had been focused on taking Terra's body. Since that failed, his next one would probably revolve around Sora or possibly Ven, unless Ven's attack was just a way for him to get away from the last battle.
Riku hummed softly in recognition but turned his sight to the world beyond the window he was sitting in. One of the reasons he left town was so Sora could have some time with Kairi. She'd been so worried, and with him thinking so deeply about this, she wouldn't have felt very settled. But they really did need to focus, especially Sora; he was constantly being threatened by Xehanort for the X-blade.
  • Author
"I don't think Ven will be directly threatened by Xehanort again," Terra said, looking up at Riku in thought. "It seems like he was attacked so that Xehanort could get away from the battle. Nothing more." That was good, but Xehanort still had two other possible targets. Terra was one of them.
"Coward," Riku said without thought, not that he could stop himself from speaking his mind anyway. That was such a cheap shot, even for Master Xehanort. It ticked Riku off that one of his friends was hurt just so the guy could get away.
  • Author
"Xehanort will do whatever it takes to get his way," Terra said, his voice holding bite as he walked over towards Riku. He sat down in the space available next to him, glaring at the ground. In the past, Xehanort killed Master Eraqus and destroyed his world. Those were only two of the many, many crimes Xehanort committed.
"And at somebody else's expense," Riku said, switching his sight to Terra. "Pure Darkness." No wonder the man partnered up with Vanitas, who was born from Darkness. Xehanort was awful.
  • Author
"That's Xehanort for you," Terra said lowly, keeping his gaze lowered. He hated Xehanort for what he did to him and to his friends. And he was ticked he got away. He wanted to end him, right now. He'd leave and go on his own at that moment if he knew where Xehanort was.
Riku didn't say anything, his eyes lingering on Terra. This man made him his successor, and in that way, they had a deep connection. Riku admired Terra for his strength, something he sometimes didn't have. But he felt bad for him too; he had to deal with Xehanort more than once, and in numerous forms. It was probably awful to have someone you once looked up to be your enemy.
  • Author
"I know how he thinks," Terra continued. "He won't walk into a battle unprepared. He humbles his opponents by making them come to him. He manipulates us by messing with emotions before battle to catch us off guard. Nobody could sink lower than he already does." But it didn't matter to Xehanort; he had no honor left. Only his selfish desires.
Riku looked back out at the Great Maw not too far off, frowning. "You probably hate him ten times more than me," he said softly. He was possessed by a form of Xehanort, or so he thought, and then his Nobody wreaked havoc. But Terra had to deal with the real thing, and he lost his life to him for a long time. It was just as bad for him.
