Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Probably," Terra agreed, looking out towards the Great Maw and the castle. "He made me do things that I'll regret for the rest of my life." Killing Eraqus was definitely at the top of his list. He didn't have to kill him to protect Ven...He wished he could have seen that back then.
Riku nodded slightly. Me too, he thought silently. Turning his back on Sora and nearly killing him? He wouldn't let that go for a long, long time.

Terra stayed silent, his gaze still out over the distance even though he noticed Riku's faint nod. He had to deal with Xehanort too; unfortunately, they had that in common. In the end, he hoped that he and Riku would be the ones to permanently end Xehanort.
Riku sat there for a while, just thinking to himself about the past and what Xehanort could possibly be up to now. His eyes were gazing at the moon now, though he pictured the heart-shaped one that Xemnas had been after. He sighed, knowing that he was going to get emotional if he didn't stop soon. "I should go," he said, turning his head to face the Bailey as he pushed himself down from the ledge. He had to get back to Sora and Kairi.

"I should too," Terra agreed, getting down from the ledge. "I don't want Aqua coming out and looking for me." She was probably worried since he was out when it was dark. He told himself he'd be back before nightfall, but it was alright since he was with Riku.
Riku smiled faintly and nodded. He guessed they would walk back together then, since their temporary homes were right beside each other. He started walking then, smile fading as he approached the gate that led to town.

Terra was already closer to the gate than Riku, so when he started walking after the teen, he ended up right beside him. They probably wouldn't speak on the way back, but that was alright. Terra would be on guard just in case anything happened. The darkness of night was unnerving when he knew what kind of villains could easily hide in the dark.
Riku eventually made it to the house, and after saying goodnight to Terra, he went inside. Some lights were still on, and a few people were obviously still up. He saw Kairi's red hair as she watched a little television on the couch, which wasn't really surprising.

Sora was currently asleep on the couch next to Kairi, his head lolled to the side. He was still exhausted from all of the running around they had been doing lately, and he sort of passed out on Kairi during a movie even though Riku told him to stay awake and keep an eye on things. But he knew that she was safe; Roxas was still up and with Namine in another room. If something went wrong, he would be able to keep them all safe and wake up Sora so he could help.

Kairi turned her head, looking over the couch when she heard Riku approach. "Hey," she greeted, to which he nodded. She caught him look at Sora. "He fell asleep on me during our movie." She smiled weakly, though Riku didn't look pleased.

"I noticed," Riku said, standing by the couch. He told Sora to stay awake in case something unexpected happened, but once again, Sora didn't listen.

Sora didn't hear the conversation right next to him, knocked out cold. He couldn't really help it; he and Riku had been going nonstop throughout this whole thing. First Twilight Town, then hunting down Larxene and Luxord, and then Xehanort. This was the first real pause that either of them had in the action.

Riku watched as Kairi silently stroked Sora's arm, but he also felt her gaze on him. "...I told him to wait up while I was gone," he said, arms crossed as he continued to stare at his best friend. He neglected to listen again, didn't he?

"He's tired, Riku," Kairi said softly, eyes on the older boy. "You both are after what happened. A little rest can't hurt." Riku seemed very strict with Sora, but the boy needed his rest...

  • Author
Sora thought he sensed a warm presence nearby, but he figured that it was Kairi. Her motion only encouraged him to sleep, not that he needed to much encouragement since he was so tired.
Riku disagreed, glancing at Kairi before his eyes went back to Sora. A little rest could hurt, especially if a threat showed up and Sora was completely out of it. They had to be on guard now, since Xehanort was still out there. They couldn't take any risks.

Sora was unaware of the harsh stare on him, though he did feel a bit of tension in the atmosphere. It started waking him up a little bit, even though he was still very much asleep. Was something wrong?

Kairi's motion on Sora's arm stopped, her eyebrows furrowing as she looked up at her best friend. "Riku, what's the matter with you?" she asked. He was acting...angry? Why? Because of Sora falling asleep?

Riku didn't answer, his eyes glancing away for a second. She knew what was wrong; he was leaning against her at this very moment.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows slightly, something definitely feeling off in the room. He moved his head, his chin tucked against his cheset as he tried to wake himself up.

Kairi turned her head to look at Sora when he moved, but then she looked back up at Riku. "You're waking him up. Just let this go for now," she requested. Now wouldn't be a good time.

"I don't think so," Riku said, shaking his head as his arms remained over his chest. Letting this go wasn't an option; Xehanort wouldn't "let this go" if he was here. He would have killed Sora on the spot.

  • Author
Sora heard the voices, and because he knew a threat was still out there, he woke up pretty quickly despite how deeply asleep he had been. He lifted his chin and forced his tired eyes open, blinking a few times and seeing Riku standing nearby.
Riku's eyes went to Sora, seeing him awake now. Good. "Thanks for joining us, Sleeping Beauty," he mocked with distaste. He asked Sora to do one thing while he was gone for less than two hours, and he passes out? Some responsibility.
  • Author
Sora lifted a hand, rubbing his eyes at Riku's disgusted voice. "Wha...?" he said, shaking his head a little to wake himself up. "What's wrong?" Xehanort didn't come, did he? No, of course not; he would have woken up for that.
"Thanks for staying awake. I appreciate that you kept to your word," Riku said. He was already mad about thoughts of Xehanort, and now Sora wasn't listening to anything he was saying or doing anything he asked. Didn't he realize how serious this was?
  • Author
Sora glanced at the clock, seeing now that he hadn't just dosed off; he really had fallen asleep. "I didn't mean to pass out," he said, sorry that he had been unable to do as Riku requested.
"Right," Riku said, still not pleased. "Just like Xehanort wouldn't have meant to waltz in here and destroy you before you realized what was happening." He was being sarcastic, and he caught Kairi's look of disapproval, but he ignored it.
  • Author
"Roxas is in the next room," Sora said, eyebrows furrowing slightly at Riku's tone. "He would have come in if he sensed something wrong." They weren't in danger right now anyway; it didn't seem like Xehanort was coming today.
