Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I didn't ask Roxas to stay up while I was gone. I asked you," Riku said, frowning at Sora. Couldn't he see that there was some responsibility needed here? He couldn't just fall asleep whenever he pleased.

"And I tried staying awake," Sora responded honestly, defensive. "I didn't mean to fall asleep." He was exhausted and running on nothing but adrenaline, and that adrenaline was almost out now too. He needed rest.
Riku continued to glare at Sora, not accepting that answer. "Even if you didn't mean to, it could have cost you," he said. He was probably being a little dramatic, but Sora was taking things too easily for his liking.

"But it didn't," Sora responded, sitting up more and glaring a little at Riku in frustration. Why couldn't he see that he really needed the rest? "But if it makes you happy, I'll be more careful not to pass out from exhaustion in the future." Of course, he was being sarcastic; passing out wasn't something he could really control.

Riku nodded a little. "Good, glad to see some dedication in you," he said, sarcasm in his voice. He knew Sora was being sarcastic, so he was dishing it right back.

"Boys," Kairi said, looking from Sora to Riku. This was ridiculous. This was a time of hardship; they didn't need to be fighting.

"What's your deal, Riku?" Sora asked, pushing himself up off the couch and glaring at his best friend. He was picking a fight over nothing, and it was really frustrating. Sora was worried enough as it was about Xehanort or Vexen ambushing him so he would form the X-blade.
"You are, Sora," Riku said, lowering his arms from his chest. "I asked you to do one thing for me and you fall asleep! What if somebody did show up, huh? Kairi would have been defenseless!" He motioned to the girl when he spoke of her, briefly noticing her blink at how she was brought into this.

Sora locked his jaw, glaring up at Riku. "Leave her out of this," he said lowly. Riku made a mistake bringing Kairi into this discussion; whenever she was brought into stuff like this, it made Sora angry. This argument was between him and Riku; there was no need to bring Kairi into this.

Riku rolled his eyes. "So now you care," he replied lowly. "I always knew you were capable of that when you were actually awake." He shook his head at Sora in disbelief.

"Riku. Stop it," Kairi said, pushing herself up from her seat so she was standing in the middle of both boys, but not between them. Why was Riku doing this? What had gotten into him?

"You think I don't care about her?!" Sora said in disbelief and outrage. That was absolutely ridiculous. He loved Kairi with all his heart, and he would do anything to protect her. He just had one little slip up, and it didn't cost them anything. What was making Riku act this way?
Kairi's eyes widened at Sora's anger, though she saw the same in Riku's eyes. "Sora, calm down," she said softly, putting a hand on his arm. This was stupid. Neither of them needed to get worked up over something so small.
  • Author
Sora ignored Kairi's hand on his arm, angry now. "Haven't I done enough to prove that I care about her?" he asked lowly in fury. He gave his life for her. He fought for her countless other times, and he always kept her protected up till now. How could Riku even accuse him of not caring?
Riku stayed silent, not answering. He knew Sora cared for Kairi, but he would have thought he would at least stay awake like he asked so somebody couldn't have sneaked up on them. Riku's glare stayed fixed on Sora, meeting his fury with his own.

"Answer me," Sora said lowly, hands in fists by his sides. Riku couldn't bring her up and then not say anything else when Sora asked him a question. He deserved an answer, right now.

Riku only stared at Sora, his eyes taunting him. Make me, he wanted to say, but he didn't speak a word.

Kairi looked from one boy to the other in shocked silence, her eyebrows furrowing. This was stupid! They needed to realize that and let this go.

Sora saw Riku's taunting eyes, and he probably would have slugged him if Kairi wasn't there. He was tempted to even though she was right near him. "Stop acting as if my slip-up is the end of the world," he said in a low voice, still glaring at Riku. He fell asleep. He felt bad. Now it was time for Riku to get over it.

"Could have been," Riku said with a shrug. "You wouldn't have known, though. After all, you were sleeping." He was just being mean now, not really caring. He was ticked off, and he knew that was present.

Kairi looked between both boys in disbelief. She didn't want to hear any more of this. She walked between them since there was enough space and started out of the living room; she didn't want to stay around for this.

  • Author
"What, like you've never slipped up?" Sora asked, sarcasm present in his voice. "Sorry, O Perfect One. I can't live up to your standards." This was really getting ridiculous. Riku expected too much out of him.

Kairi heard what Sora said and stopped, turning around. She heard Riku start to say something, but she interrupted. "Both of you, stop it!" she hollered from the other side of the room. Enough was enough.

Riku turned his head to look at Kairi, the anger in his eyes lessening some when he saw how mad she was herself.

  • Author
Sora didn't look over at Kairi, not wanting to look at her with anger so apparent in his eyes. He started it, he wanted to say, still glaring at Riku. He picked a fight over nothing.
"You're both acting ridiculous!" Kairi told Sora and Riku, disapproving of their behavior. "It's time the both of you grew up and realized what's important." If they couldn't see it, they were blind to something so special. Everybody was alive. Nobody was hurt, so they needed to stop being so dramatic and support each other.
  • Author
"I know what's important," Sora said in his defense, still glaring at Riku. "Riku was the one who got upset because I fell asleep." How stupid was that? He hadn't even meant to in the first place, and anyway, nothing bad happened because of it. Riku was at fault.

Kairi shook her head. "You're encouraging this stupid fight," she said, directing it to Sora. "You guys shouldn't be fighting; you've done enough of that to last you a lifetime. Can't you just have each other's backs before something bad does happen?"

Riku glanced at Sora before he looked away, not saying anything. He was just a little on edge...

  • Author
No, I don't think we can, Sora thought, shifting his glare to the floor. Not when Riku was being so unreasonable. He was still ticked off and tired and scared and he didn't want to fight anymore. He just wanted to not be afraid any more.
Kairi didn't get a response so she ran a hand through her red hair, thinking of what to say. "...Let's go to bed," she said softly, looking at both of her boys. "You guys need your rest. Both of you." She directed the last part to Riku, since he was on Sora about falling asleep in the first place. Kairi then turned around and headed for the stairs, wanting to get some sleep.
