Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku released Sora's arm but put his hand on his back instead, shoving him forward. It was time they had a little talk. This was stupid.

Sora stumbled forward a few steps, and thankfully for him, the door was right there. He set a hand on the wall to steady himself, briefly glancing behind him and glaring at Riku. But then he started forward, looking where he was walking so he wouldn't trip up because of his tiredness.
Riku made sure to shut the door quietly behind him once they were out of the girls' room. He followed Sora down the hall, knowing that he had to apologize for what he said to his friend yesterday; he was too hard on him.

Sora went to the living room, which was empty since everybody else in the house was asleep. He sat down on the couch, lifting a hand and messing with his hair a little bit. He was exhausted and frustrated and scared with everything going on, but it was easier to just show Riku the frustration instead of the fear. Riku would probably laugh at him if he knew he was scared.
Riku didn't take a seat; he instead stood a few feet away from Sora, looking down at him. "...Why did you take what I said so literally?" he said, frowning at his best friend. Now he was going to be too tired to function for the rest of the day.

Here comes the lecture, Sora thought, seeing how Riku was standing above him instead of coming down to his level. "Because, Xehanort could attack any time," he replied smoothly. "Somebody should have been awake." He just should have thought things through instead of staying up the entire night by himself. And he did do it to spite Riku. A lot.
"You know how stupid that was, Sora?" Riku asked, furrowing his eyebrows as he looked at his younger friend. "You're going to be tired the rest of the day, if you can even stay awake that long. What if Xehanort attacks today? You won't be able to defend yourself like this."

"Oh, so it was alright to leave Kairi unprotected for eight hours but it wasn't alright for me to accidentally fall asleep last night and leave her vulnerable for one?" Sora asked sarcastically. "Sorry." He didn't understand Riku's logic.
"Would you knock it off with your stupid sarcasm?" Riku said, his voice a little higher than usual. Seriously, it was getting on his last nerve. He was sure that was evident already.

Sora arched a brow at Riku's higher tone, folding his arms over his chest and looking at his best friend. But he did knock it off with the sarcasm, for the current moment. He didn't have much else to say, anyway.
Riku looked away then, running a hand through his silver hair. "Look, I was wrong, okay? I shouldn't have yelled at you the way I did," he admitted finally, his tone softer than before. "I was just...worried." And scared...and angry...and nervous. He was a bunch of things, but he wasn't about to tell Sora that.

Sora looked away from Riku, his arched brow lowering at the confession. He hadn't been expecting that, not after Riku just got done calling him an idiot for staying up all night. And he was worried...About what?
"I had a lot on my mind last night," Riku continued when he didn't get a response, his eyes not resting on Sora. "I got frustrated and took it out on you. Sorry." He couldn't take it back, but the best he could do was apologize for his mistake. At least he realized it was one.

Sora nodded slightly, though he wasn't sure whether or not Riku could see him since he was staring at the ground. He had gotten frustrated last night too, and really defensive. Did he have anything to apologize for? He didn't feel like he stepped out of line with anything he said.
Riku sighed, lifting his sight to Sora after a moment of silence. "You should go get some sleep while you can," he suggested lowly. Sora looked like he was about to fall over from exhaustion anyway. Riku wouldn't keep him up.

Sora glanced up to see if Riku was being serious with that or mocking him somehow, but he didn't pick up on anything. He nodded faintly and pushed himself up from the couch. Yeah, he felt like he was going to pass out now anyway. He needed the rest.
Riku saw Sora go and he lowered his gaze to the ground again. He really needed to learn to control his temper... Right now, he couldn't risk fighting with Sora.

Sora walked up the stairs, gripping the railing tightly so he wouldn't collapse. He eventually made it to the room he, Riku, and Roxas shared and then fell onto his bed, consciousness leaving him when he was face down on the furniture. Things didn't feel right with Riku at all, but he would worry about that when he woke up.
Riku sat himself down on the couch and leaned back, staring up at the ceiling. He was the only one awake, and would be for a while. Because of that, there was nothing to do but sit in silence.

Later that day

Sora slept through the entire day, not aware of anything going on around him. He was so sleep deprived that he was basically dead to the world despite the fact that he knew Xehanort could come at any time.

Kairi sat on the edge of Sora's bed, lightly stroking his spiky hair as he slept in silence. It was the afternoon now, but Sora still had no idea who was sitting just outside, and had been all day.

Sora finally started to come out of it, sensing the light presence that had allowed him to sleep comfortably for so long. He exhaled a soft breath, turning his head a little on the pillow as he remained on his side. He felt like he slept for so long...
Kairi smiled softly as she gazed down at the boy she loved. She ran her fingers through his hair one more time before she trailed her fingers back down his jaw line, staying silent. Was he waking up?

What the...? Sora wondered, not used to feeling somebody playing with his hair or touching his face when he woke up. It happened every once in a while, though, so he knew who must have been with him. "Kai?" he asked softly, his voice showing his tiredness. What was she doing with him?
Kairi felt her smile grow a little. "Yes?" she said softly, her voice gentle with the boy she loved. Her touch must have given her away.
