A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Sora turned his head, opening his eyes and looking up at the girl who was sitting on his bed. "What are you doing here?" he asked softly, confused. He expected that she would be with Namine, or Riku.

"Being with you," Kairi answered softly. While I still can, she added mentally. She was nervous about this upcoming battle with Xehanort, knowing everyone could leave at any time. It was quite frightening, which was why she stayed close to Sora, even if he was sleeping the entire day.

Sora blinked, waking up a little at the answer. He set his hands on the bed and started to push himself up, sitting against the pillows and headset of the bed. "You could have woken me up if you wanted to spend time with me," he said softly. He had to admit, though, that rest had really helped him...

Kairi shook her head, her hand coming back to her lap. "Riku said you needed your rest, and he was right," she replied. Sora slept all day; he really did need it.

Sleepiness aside, Kairi's words didn't make sense to Sora. "Riku?" he said in confusion. What did he have to do with anything? Did he tell her that he was an idiot and stayed up last night?

Kairi hummed softly with a nod. "He's been sitting outside your room all day," she explained. "He wanted to make sure you slept in peace. He let me in, of course." She smiled a little more at that; Riku knew that Kairi would follow the rules and just sit with him.

Sora instinctively looked towards the door, seeing that it was open a crack. Riku was still sitting out there, wasn't he? That seemed logical, since he would keep the door open a crack to be able to hear what happened in the room in case there was trouble. He lifted a hand, scratching the side of his head. Riku didn't have to do that...

Kairi didn't say anything more, seeing Sora's reaction to what she just said. Instead, she looked down at her hands in her lap, staying quiet.

Riku's actions were the opposite of what they had been last night, which proved to Sora that his apology was sincere. He sighed, shaking his head a little and looking down. He had to apologize too; he lost his temper last night as well. "Kai...Do you think...you could give me some time with Riku?" He wanted to be with her very much, but he wouldn't feel comfortable again until he and Riku really sorted this out.

Kairi smiled a little and nodded. "Sure," she said softly. She pushed herself up from the bed and started for the door, about to tell Riku to come on in.

Sora turned so his feet were on the ground, an easy task since he was never under the covers to start with. But he hardly noticed that, looking at the ground. He had been a jerk. He shouldn't have stayed up last night to prove a point to Riku. He really was lucky nothing happened while he recovered today...

Kairi opened the door and stepped out. Riku automatically looked up at her, and she motioned with her head toward the room with a small smile. She saw Riku take the hint and start pushing himself up, and she took that as her turn to leave the boys alone.

 

Riku saw Kairi go before he turned and stepped into the room, his eyes finding Sora immediately. "What's up?" he asked, taking a few steps in before stopping.

"I never got a chance to apologize earlier," Sora said, keeping his head lowered in shame. He was such a stubborn idiot. First he took on Riku in an argument that he should have just walked away from, then he wandered in the night by himself (which was stupid considering who could have shown up), and then he pulled an all-nighter to spite Riku. He had been a pig.

Riku blinked but lowered his eyes to the ground. Well, he hadn't been expecting this...

"...You weren't the only one worrying about stuff," Sora continued with his head lowered. "I was too. And I was too focused on that to walk away from that argument like I should have. Sorry." He should have known better.

"Don't sweat it," Riku said, rubbing the back of his head. He didn't want any more conflict, so it was alright. They couldn't afford anything on the side anyway. But he forgave Sora, so it was fine.

I think I will, Sora told himself and Riku mentally. He didn't like arguing with Riku, and whenever he did, it left him with a bitter taste in his mouth. "You didn't have to guard the door, you know," he said, looking up and motioning toward the entrance to the room.

"I felt it was necessary," Riku said, lowering his hand from his head after looking at the door. Even if it sounded silly, he did it anyway. He was really on edge.

Sora's eyebrows furrowed slightly, but he nodded a little in understanding. Xehanort was still out there, and he was after Sora. "What was it you were worrying about last night?" he asked, though he felt like this could have been it. Riku was worried about Xehanort, clearly.

"Everything," Riku answered, eyebrows furrowing. He was worried about Xehanort, Saix, and Vexen. He was worried about Sora and Ventus and Terra. He was scared of the Darkness... He was worried about staying alive.

"It's not like you to get so stressed over everything," Sora said, eyebrows furrowed slightly as he looked at Riku. His best friend normal had a very level, calm head about everything. It was strange to actually see him worry.

Riku shrugged slightly, though his eyes dropped to the ground. "Xehanort has a way of changing things," he said quietly. And he did. He was making Riku extremely cautious, and nervous.

Sora hummed, nodding and looking towards the ground. He understood that...whether Riku was referring to the real Xehanort or the forms of him that they battled over the years. Xehanort changed a lot of things for a lot of people, especially Riku.

"...Anyway," Riku said after a minute, lifting his eyes to his best friend. "Did you end up getting enough rest?" He was curious, and he assumed so since Sora slept all day.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Sora said with a nod, referring to his rest and nothing more. He'd be good for the rest of the day, though he would still sleep soundly tonight. There had been too much going on lately for him to really feel completely rested, but it was understandable.
