Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku nodded. "Good to know," he said. Well, at least him sitting outside the room paid off; if Sora had been awake the whole time, he would have been a little flustered.

Sora hummed, nodding faintly and looking down to the bed. Yeah, he was well rested, but that didn't mean that he still wasn't really stressed. The last time Xehanort, or Xemnas, got the X-blade, it nearly killed him. If he got his way this time, it would probably mean the end of Sora...and his loved ones, since he wouldn't be there to protect them. That scared him.
Riku lifted an eyebrow, tilting his head to the side as he looked at Sora. He didn't know if it was just him, but something felt off. "You alright?" he asked in the quiet room. Sora looked a little worried himself.
  • Author
"Don't worry about it," Sora said, faintly shaking his head. Riku had enough on his plate, and so did Sora. He wouldn't have Riku carrying his fears along with his own worries.
Riku nodded a little. "Want me to have Kairi come back in?" he asked. He felt like they were done talking for the moment. Unless Sora had something he still wanted to say. If not, they could talk later.
  • Author
"Nah," Sora said, shaking his head again. He had actually forgotten that Kairi was probably waiting to be with him again. "I should get out of the bedroom." Before he laid back down and fell asleep. He pushed himself up, stretching slightly.
Riku nodded. "Right," he said. "See you out there." He smiled faintly before turning around and starting out of the room. He would go downstairs now, since Sora was awake.
  • Author
When Sora finished stretching, he lifted a hand to the back of his head, running it over his hair as he sadly looked at the ground. He was glad Riku didn't try to force the truth out of him; he probably wouldn't react well to Sora being afraid. He was always fearless, and Sora didn't want to disappoint Riku by having fear. He didn't want to disappoint Riku at all, not like he had last night.

Later that evening...

Aqua left Ventus's room, walking down the hall before descending the stairs. She had a bowl in her hands, her little brother having just finished some soup she made for him. Even if it had been nearly two days since he fought Xehanort, he was still recovering. She was worried, but Ven was a strong kid; he was really optimistic during this whole thing.

Terra was currently in the kitchen, making himself a sandwich. He figured Aqua was upstairs with Ven, and even though he needed to talk to her, he would wait until she came downstairs. It would be better not to make a scene in front of Ven, anyway.
Aqua reached the first floor and headed for the kitchen. Upon entering, she saw Terra. She smiled slightly at him and nodded. "Hey," she greeted softly. She approached the sink, wanting to rinse out the dish in her hands.

Terra put bread on the top of his sandwich, turning to look at Aqua. "Hey," he greeted back. "Good timing. I wanted to talk to you about something." And she probably wouldn't like to hear it. But still, it needed to be discussed.
Aqua turned on the faucet, her back to Terra for the moment. "Yes?" she said, starting to rinse out the bowl. What did he need to talk to her about? Was it about what she did...in front of Xehanort? She thought they already discussed that...

"I don't think Ven'll be up to fighting Xehanort when the time comes," Terra said, eyebrows furrowed slightly in seriousness. Ven was recovering quickly, yes, but what if Xehanort pulled this stunt again? That wasn't a scenario he was comfortable with.
Aqua nodded slightly, agreeing. "You're right, he probably won't be," she said, furrowing her eyebrows. Poor Ven. He loved fighting, but he just couldn't do it this time...
  • Author
"And I know we agreed that Xehanort just used Ven as a way to get out of the battle, but I'm still not comfortable leaving him alone when we go to finish this," Terra continued. Even if Ven wasn't a main target, he couldn't be left alone when he was vulnerable. Terra wouldn't allow it.
Aqua continued to clean out the dish, though her eyebrows furrowed a little more at Terra's words. She stayed silent, wanting him to continue. What direction was he going with this?
  • Author
"...I think you should stay back with Ven," Terra finished, prepared for Aqua's disapproval. It was simple why she had to stay back; she could talk Ven out of pursuing Xehanort if it came down to it. She was the only one who could.
Aqua reached up and turned off the faucet at that, setting the dish down in the sink. "...You don't want me to go?" she asked softly, staring down at the bowl. Terra wanted her to stay behind?
  • Author
"No, I don't," Terra said, lifting a hand and scratching his cheek. This wasn't the reaction he expected; he expected her to immediately refuse and insist she went along. Would she agree to this without a fight?
"I know you mean well, Terra," Aqua started, closing her eyes for a moment. But then she opened them, turning around halfway to look at him. "But I think that I should take on Xehanort alongside you."
  • Author
"Don't worry about me," Terra said, faintly shaking his head. "I won't be alone." He'll have all his other friends there with him, except for Ven and Aqua, who would be keeping him safe from harm here in Hollow Bastion.
Aqua looked away from Terra then, lowering her gaze to the ground. Even if he was right, she still wanted to go. Terra... She was very protective of him now, after what happened a few days ago. She couldn't just sit by and wait to see if he returned.
  • Author
"Think of Ven," Terra said, looking away from Aqua to the sandwich on the counter. "If you come along with me, he'll be vulnerable. At least I'll be able to fight for myself." Ven, depending on his condition, wouldn't be able to fight back if he was approached by an enemy here.
"But...last time you..." Aqua started, trailing off. The last time you fought Xehanort, you nearly died. She loved Ventus, but she didn't want to risk losing Terra again...
