Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lea looked over past Ven, having seen Isa fly against the wall. His eyes were on those of his best friend until his eyes shut and he gave in to death. The redhead locked his jaw, sad to see his former friend finally go. But it was then that the Heartless jumped on him, knocking him down to the ground when he was distracted.
"Axel!" Roxas cried, sprinting over to his best friend. He was just taking on Heartless of his own when he saw what happened to him. Roxas chucked Oblivion at the Heartless that tackled his best friend, knocking it off.

Lea felt the Heartless get knocked off him, and he pushed himself up to his knees. "Burn!" he cried in rage, chucking a fiery Chakram at the Heartless and incinerating it. He was sick of this stupid fight!
Oblivion came back to Roxas in a boomerang fashion, traveling around Axel before it found the blond's hand. He ran a few more steps before leaping into the air, summoning Oathkeeper to his other hand. He then crashed down in the middle of a group of Heartless, making a few of them fly into the air. It was time to get rid of these pests.

While Lea recovered and began fighting again, Terra and Riku were finishing their business with Xehanort. The man he once looked up to, the man who betrayed him and tried to take everything away from him, would be dead soon enough. "Riku!" he called, running for the enemy. Taking him down would only take one more move; they could do this together.
"Right!" Riku hollered, gripping his Keyblade tightly in his hand as he sprinted for Xehanort. This was it, this was the end. Xehanort was going to die for good.

Terra reached Xehanort first, and when he did, he swung his weapon at the old man. He blocked the attack, but Terra expected that. He grunted and pushed up on Xehanort's Keyblade, launching him up into the air.
Riku's eyes darted up, tracing Xehanort's movements. He ran a few more steps before grunting, jumping from the ground and high into the air. "Prepare to lose it all!" he roared, reaching Xehanort as he was starting to come down from the sky. Riku forced himself to spin in midair, striking Xehanort as hard as he could when he swung Way to Dawn.

Xehanort cried out, Riku's attack sending him flying back for earth. He grunted when he roughly hit the ground, bouncing slightly on the rock-hard ground when he landed on his stomach. He lifted his head and blinked away the haziness, seeing Terra standing in front of him. But he also felt his life fading away, for good this time. ...I've lost.
Riku landed on his feet, though he was crouched when he met the earth. He lifted his head, his sight tinted due to his helmet. But the scene before him was clear enough. Xehanort... He was finally leaving.

Terra stood right in front of Xehanort, who pushed himself to his knees. But he wasn't worried; Xehanort was starting to fade away. "It's over," he said softly, mostly to himself as he looked at the face of the man who he hated more than anything.

"My conquest for the X-blade is over," Master Xehanort agreed, not pleased with how he was losing his life and there was no way to stop it. "My life is even over. But my legacy is far from over, Terra. You know that more than anybody else."

Riku pushed himself up from the ground, standing upright as he held his Keyblade in his hand. He barely heard Master Xehanort's words, which made him frown in disgust. But Terra was right; all of this Darkness... It was over.

Terra shook his head a little, looking at the man. "Wrong, old man," he said. "The brightness of the future outshines whatever legacy you have left. You're done hurting the worlds. You're done killing innocent people. And you're done using me for it." Never again, would he fall for Xehanort's tricks. Xehanort was gone.
Aqua saw that Terra was talking to Master Xehanort when she briefly glanced in that direction, but the Heartless were still here. She swung at them, though they were becoming easier to defeat, getting weaker due to how Xehanort was finally fading away.

"Farewell," Terra finally said, Xehanort fading away completely after he said the word. He wasn't only saying goodbye to Xehanort; he was saying goodbye to any of the pain that the man ever caused him. Like he said, now that he was gone, the future was brighter. Much brighter.

Ven noticed the Heartless vanish when Xehanort was completely gone, and he stood upright at that realization. The threat was over...They were victorious.

Roxas stopped midswing when the Heartless disappeared. He looked around in confusion when every single one of them did the same. Standing up straight, he looked at his comrades, and he let out a small laugh in glee. It was over! They won!

Sora looked around the area, standing fully upright when he saw that the area was empty except for his friends. The Heartless were gone; Xehanort was defeated. It was over! Except, he still had the X-blade...
Riku looked around the area, seeing that everyone appeared to be okay, even if they were spread out across the Great Maw. But one thing he noticed the most was the weapon in Sora's hands. The X-blade.

Sora looked down at the weapon by his side, his grip on the hilt secure so he wouldn't drop it. He didn't understand...He was so scared of it at the start of the battle. He thought it would cause great destruction, lash against him, and hurt his friends. But he kept control of it and it hadn't been any more destructive than his normal Keblade except for how it gave him more strength. This is so bizarre.
"Sora..." Riku said softly. The weapon he had... It would turn him against them, mess with his head and heart and make him thirst for power. He couldn't wield it. Riku grunted, starting over in that direction in a run.

Terra heard Riku say his friend's name softly, and he turned his head to see him start running over in that direction. But Sora didn't seem to notice it, looking down at the weapon he held in his grasp. The X-blade...
Riku heard the sound of his armor as he ran, but he didn't pay attention to it. Sora... He had to be knocked out; they couldn't risk him feeling the effects of the X-blade. The Master approached his friend and brought his Keyblade back, prepared to strike and knock his friend unconscious.

Sora's reflexes were quick, and he spun around on his feet, lifting the Keyblade and blocking the attack that he sensed coming. He assumed it was a left-over Heartless attacking him, but when he saw it was his best friend, his eyes widened. "Riku?! What are you doing?"
Riku ground his teeth together, keeping the pressure on Sora's newfound weapon. "The wielders of the X-blade lose themselves," he said. "Their brains are warped, and so are their hearts because of the power they feel." He pushed against Sora's blade. "With that power comes the urge to destroy."
  • Author
Sora stood against Riku's pressure but didn't try to overcome him, listening to what he had to say. "That's crazy!" he said at the end. "I haven't lost myself!" He was still very much himself; he felt no urge to destroy anything or gain any type of power.
