A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku pushed against Sora's blade. "Prove it," he said lowly. He wouldn't believe it until he saw it.

 

Aqua saw what was happening and removed her helmet, gaping in surprise. Riku... He needed to stop!

Sora's eyes widened at Riku's seriousness and how he wouldn't believe him just because of what he said. How was he supposed to prove it? An idea came to mind, but he would have to borrow some of the weapon's power. He shut his eyes and summoned a little wind, air circulating around the blade and forcing Riku's blade away from his.

Riku staggered backward, his blade coming to his side at the power behind Sora's spell. He locked his jaw, staring at his best friend. So he was using his power against him now? How was that proving he was still himself?

Sora summoned the weapon away now that Riku was a few steps away, his hands coming up in a gesture of surrender. If he hadn't been himself, then he wouldn't have summoned the weapon away. He would have kept fighting his best friend. But he hadn't, because he really hadn't lost himself to the X-blade.

Riku furrowed his eyebrows at the sight before him and reached up, pulling off his helmet with one hand. He lowered his arm and looked at Sora, seeing that his friend...really was in control of the X-blade. But how?

"Told you I was still me," Sora said, slowly lowering his arms and sensing his other friends running over out of the corner of his eye. Despite what Riku said, he didn't feel any different than he normally did, even when the X-blade was actually in his grasp. He was scared, but other than that, he was the same Sora.

Riku loosened his hold on Way to Dawn as Aqua came over, followed by Roxas. This wasn't right... Sora shouldn't have had so much control over the X-blade. Not like this.

Terra stopped over by Sora, Riku, and the others, his helmet off. "What's going on?" he asked, looking from one teen to the other. Sora didn't hold the X-blade anymore, and Riku was looking a bit baffled.

Riku hesitated a minute, trying to wrap his mind around what happened. "...Sora shouldn't have so much control over it," he said, referring to the X-blade. "It should be controlling him."

 

Aqua looked from Riku to Sora at the topic. This was about the X-blade?

"I don't feel any influence from it," Sora said, faintly shaking his head. "I feel really...normal." Except for his fear of the weapon's destructive potential, but he felt like that was a given.

Riku looked over at Ventus, who had dealt with the X-blade once before. But...then he thought better of it, lowering his sight to the ground. Ventus was under Vanitas's control during the time, so he wouldn't really remember, would he?

"I think this is a mystery that none of us will be able to solve," Terra said, looking around to everyone. None of them knew much about the X-blade; it was a strange and mysterious weapon in so many ways. Who would be able to help them?

Aqua summoned her weapon away and used both hands to lift her helmet off her face, that way she could see everyone more clearly. "What about Master Yen Sid?" she said, her eyes on Terra before finding the others. He had so much wisdom; perhaps he knew what this could mean.

"I think that's our best choice," Terra said with a nod. He looked to Sora then, his eyes on the young man. "You should go right away," he advised. "The X-blade's influence could just be delayed; you need to do this before you lose yourself."

 

Well that's comforting, Sora thought sarcastically, but he nodded to Terra anyway. He was right...He could still lose himself to the X-blade. And that was terrifying.

"I'll tag along," Riku said with a small nod. He was going to be there for his best friend in case he was needed. And he was curious about what was going on here.

Sora looked to Riku, uncertain as to whether or not that was wise. If he did lose himself, he would turn against his friends. He could hurt Riku...

Roxas nodded. "Me too," he said, adding on to what Riku just declared. He was going too.

 

Aqua nodded slightly. "Better get going then," she said. It was best they went now before something happened.

Sora nodded slightly, starting to walk away. When he went to summon his Keyblade, the X-blade appeared in his grasp. Could this thing...make a glider? He was about to find out. He threw it back like he normally did, though he watched his weapon this time instead of just waiting for the glider to come back.

Riku started to put his helmet back on, watching Sora's newest Keyblade transition from that form to a glider. There was no doubt in his mind that it would look differently than Sora's last glider.

Sora saw the glider stop in front of him, it looking different than his normal. It was more like a large scooter, and the handlebars were like that of the Kingdom Key. And he could see a guns system on the glider, too. He grunted, reaching down to the ground and picking up his helmet before he got onto the glider. He couldn't focus on this; he had to get to Master Yen Sid.

Riku looked to Terra, Aqua, and Ven. "We'll be back soon," he said with a small nod. He gripped Way to Dawn tightly, prepared to throw it into the air and summon his glider, like Sora and Roxas had already done.

Terra nodded faintly to Riku. He was about to tell him to be on his guard, but Riku already knew that, so Terra didn't bother verbalizing it. Those three would all be careful.

Riku summoned his glider and hopped onto it, nodding to Sora and Roxas. He was ready to go see Master Yen Sid, and see what exactly was going on here.

Later...

 

Sora stood in the middle of Riku and Roxas in the room with Master Yen Sid, the older man sitting at his desk in front of them. They just finished explaining everything to him, including the X-blade. The Master looked as if he were pondering it now, and that made Sora nervous. What was he thinking?

Riku had his hands at his sides, his eyes stuck on Master Yen Sid as he stood on one side of Sora, Roxas on the other. He was wondering what Master Yen Sid was thinking, not knowing what exactly his expression meant.
