Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"You know of Sora, correct?" Xehanort asked, though he didn't wait for a response because he already knew the answer. "Go to his home and fight his Nobody. And then kill Sora's body." He was still ticked that Sora had resisted him by fighting him instead of allowing him to release Ventus, and now he was going to repay the favor by never allowing Sora to live a real life again.

Riku gasped, his grasp on Way to Dawn loosening. "No!" he cried, taking a small step forward without thought. Vanitas couldn't go to the island!

Aqua glared at Master Xehanort, her anger at its fullest. How...ugly of him! Killing an innocent boy! He couldn't possibly!

Vanitas's attention turned to the guy in the gold and blue armor, not recognizing him. But upon seeing the type of blade he held, he knew that this person fell to the Darkness once before. Weak. Vanitas nodded at the order, turning and summoning a portal behind him. Without a word, he walked through, knowing exactly what world Master Xehanort was referring to, and this Sora.

Xehanort watched Vanitas leave with a proud look on his face, glad to have that issue settled. When Vanitas returned, Ventus would surely be awake, and they would battle to form the X-blade. At long last, his hard work and scheming was paying off.

"You monster!" Aqua screamed, scolding the person within Terra's body. How could he do such a thing to an innocent kid?

Vanitas's portal took him to the world he was told to find, and he stepped out of it onto a wooden bridge. Familiar, he thought, remembering how he antagonized Ventus here. He turned his head, looking for any signs of Sora's "Nobody", if he was around.

Xehanort shrugged, not caring if Aqua meant to insult him or not. "I am what I am," he declared darkly. "It's best to accept it." He would always be Master Xehanort, even if he was in Terra's body. And he would stay in this body until he aged, and then he would find a new host. Nothing mattered but his ability to exist eternally.

Riku tightened his grip on the hilt of his weapon, his hand shaking because of how tight the grasp was. He was furious now, his blood boiling. He pulled his blade back and ran forward, a harsh battle cry leaving his lips.

Roxas left the shack on the ground level, having the idea of visiting Kairi up in the treehouse. He was glum, however, aware of what happened to Sora when he left. Namine had been devastated, and it felt like a part of him had been lost at his friend's accident; they were connected after all.

Vanitas smirked behind his mask again, seeing somebody with spiky blond hair. Looks like my victim, he thought darkly. He summoned his Keyblade away for a second, knowing that he would have to introduce himself before annihalating the poor Nobody.

Namine finished tying her boat, having just gotten to the island after eating lunch on the mainland. Her eyes immediately found her boyfriend when she was standing on the deck, Roxas heading in her general direction. "Roxas," she called, lifting a hand and waving to him. She hadn't seen him all day, which explained why she was smiling softly and feeling so happy to see him that she didn't notice any other presence.

Roxas's eyes brightened at the voice, his gaze ahead now as he looked toward the dock. "Hey!" he called back with a small smile, lifting an arm and waving to the girl he loved. Good, she was here. Namine's presence would help him cope.

Vanitas wanted to laugh, seeing how chipper this "couple" seemed to be. Regardless, he slunk forward on the bridge silently, heading for the roof of the shack, that this Roxas kid wasn't far from.

Namine smiled softly, her hands down by her side as she walked down the steps and headed over towards Roxas. She wondered how he was doing with everything; she knew that he wasn't taking what happened to Sora lightly. She hoped that he was doing alright...

Vanitas squatted down atop the roof of the shack, one arm resting against his knee. "Ah, young love. So overrated," he commented lowly, trying to get the blond's attention.

Roxas jumped slightly, his eyes widening at the remark. His gaze left Namine and went to the side a little, his eyebrows furrowing before he fully turned around. He didn't see anyone behind him, but upon looking up higher, he spotted the person in the mask. What the...?

Namine's eyes widened at the voice as a startled gasp left her, the girl looking past Roxas and eventually seeing a figure on the roof of the shack. She stopped dead in her tracks, not liking how this person appeared. Who was that?

"Hello, Roxas," Vanitas greeted, his smugness evident in his tone. He could already tell that this Nobody was as weak as his Somebody had to be. Piece of cake.

"Who're you?" Roxas asked, his tone alert and cautious. Who was this guy, and how did he know who he was?

  • Author
Namine stayed where she was, her eyes staying on the masked boy. She didn't like this...Where did he come from? Why was he here?

Vanitas stood up from his spot, looking down at Roxas. "As far as you should know, your worst nightmare," he said, summoning his weapon to his hand.

Roxas blinked in shock upon seeing a Keyblade in this guy's grasp, and his threat didn't help much either. The blond grunted, swinging his arm and summoning Oblivion to his hand. Namine...don't come any closer, he silently begged.

Namine took a soft step backwards, surprise in her gaze. This person...He could wield a Keyblade? But how? She didn't bother asking questions, wishing that she wasn't here right now. But Roxas was about to fight! She didn't want him getting hurt!

Vanitas saw the blade the Nobody summoned, and he simply shook his head. "You remind me of someone," he started. "A stubborn fool who never had it in him to really...overcome his obstacles. It's almost uncanny at how much you two look alike, though I guess it's only fitting."

"What do you mean?!" Roxas demanded harshly, holding Oblivion ready at his side. Who did he look like?

Vanitas laughed evilly. "Does it matter? By the time I'm finished with you, that question will fade to oblivion, just like the rest of you," he stated. "Say goodbye to your crush, Nobody. Your time ends now."

Roxas's grip tightened on Oblivion, and he instantly hollered to the girl he loved. "Namine, run!" he yelled. This guy was sending awful vibes; he couldn't have her anywhere near him.

Namine bit down on her lip lightly, glancing behind her. Where was she supposed to run to? Only the dock was behind her. She turned and went over there at a light run, stopping there and turning around to face Roxas and the stranger.

Vanitas bent down slightly before jumping high into the air, leaping off the shack. He flipped in the air and held his blade in both hands, bringing it down to strike the Nobody.

Roxas lifted Oblivion in time to block the attack, though the force behind it was powerful. He grunted, knowing that the fight began now.

Back at the Keyblade Graveyard, Ventus started to become aware of his surroundings again, consciousness starting to return to him. He felt the sweat on his brow from fighting earlier, but the most obvious thing he was aware of was the sound of fighting. What's going on?
Aqua still held Ven in her arms, though she kept her Keyblade nearby. She casted spells on Terra and Riku when they were needed, but otherwise stayed out of the action, tending to the boy that was like her little brother. Her gaze was stuck on Terra and Riku now, however, watching to see if they needed any of her Protect or Cure spells.

Ven turned his head to the side, realizing that an arm supported the back of his neck. He didn't understand...Why was he asleep when there was so much noise around him. Where am I...again...? he wondered, dazed because of the extraction that had occurred a little while ago.
Aqua felt movement against her arm, and she turned her gaze down to the boy she had in her arms. She blinked when she saw that he was waking up. "Ven?" she called above the noise of swords clashing, worry heavy in her voice.

Ventus recognized the voice above the noise of the battle, and he pieced together that Aqua was the one supporting him. He turned his head again so that he could look up at Aqua, his blue eyes opening slowly and showing his fatigue. "Aqua?" he said weakly.
"Ven," Aqua breathed in relief, glad to see his eyes again. "Are you okay?" She tried to keep the nervousness out of her voice, knowing that the battle was near; she didn't want him in harm's way in this state.

Ven nodded slightly, his eyes shutting in tiredness. He had felt this way once before...It was when Vanitas was taken out the first time. But at least he wasn't unconscious as long this time around. How long had he been out, anyway?
