Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi snuggled closer to Sora, lowering her head on the pillow so her face was in Sora's chest. She held onto his shirt and just lay next to him, letting herself be taken into his arms. She wanted nothing more than his touch and his warmth, things he graced her with every day.

After what felt like an eternity of silence, Sora did fall asleep, though he felt restless the whole night. If Kairi wasn't there with him, he would have tossed and turned, but with her in his arms, he had to put her before himself. That was how it was meant to be, anyway.
Riku waited an hour or so to give Sora and Kairi some privacy, and when he went upstairs for the night, he saw that they were both asleep. And in each other's arms. He couldn't resist smiling, and half of it was in sadness. Tomorrow... It wouldn't be a good day.

The next morning

Sora was in the same position as the one that he fell asleep in, his arm around Kairi the whole night. But he was waking up now, even if it was earlier than usual. He knew what today was, and even if it scared him, he had to face it. He forced himself to wake up, only taking a few minutes to do it.

Riku was positioned on the floor next to Sora's bed, on his best friend's side as his head rested against the mattress, tilted slightly as he slept. He felt the need to be close to his friends last night; it was the last time they had to truly be a trio before Sora took off.

Sora gently turned so he wouldn't disturb Kairi, who was still asleep. He laid on his back, but when he sensed a presence on the other side of his bed, he turned his head and looked down. Riku was sitting up against the bed. He must have wanted them all to be close, too.
Kairi's hand that had been on Sora's chest now rested against the mattress, the girl still sound asleep next to the boy who held her heart. She felt close to him, even in her sleep. Little did she know that the feeling was only emphasized since the last part of their trio was there too.

Sora glanced back over at Kairi and saw her hand on the mattress now, and he wished he could take back his movement. So, in a way, he did. He lifted a hand and gently grabbed Kairi's, holding it and bringing it to his chest. He stared up at the ceiling, noticing sunlight starting to pour into the room. Soon, they would leave.

Kairi's hand lightly curled on Sora's hand, lightly grasping his shirt as she continued to sleep. Of course, she would be waking up soon; today was the day.

Riku took in a deep breath and released it, about to wake up in only a minute's time. He was an early riser, and normally woke up at dawn. Today would be no different.

Sora stared up at the ceiling, listening to the breathing of his friends and keeping a hold of Kairi's hand on his chest. As soon as everyone was awake and ate, they would have to leave. He was so scared about facing this one...He actually felt like crying. He just wanted to know that things would be alright in the end...
Riku lowered his chin to his chest a little, moaning briefly as he started to wake up. Even as he started to wake up, he knew that it wouldn't be a good day ahead. Riku groggily lifted a hand to his face as he reachd consciousness, aware that this could be Sora's last day.

Sora glanced out of the corner of his eye at Riku, seeing him waking up. But he didn't stare, his gaze going back to the ceiling. He was actually surprised with Riku's actions; sleeping in an upright position with a big day ahead wasn't really a logical thing to do. But he thought he understood why he did it.
Riku rubbed at his eyes before running a hand through his hair, sighing softly as he saw daylight shine through the windows. He saw Roxas's bed across from him, and that it was empty. But then he remembered where he was, and he turned his head to look up at his friends. Kairi...she was still sleeping, but Sora was already awake.

This could be the end of everything. Sora, Riku, and Kairi had been a trio ever since Kairi came to the Islands, and they were always inseparable. He supposed that they always would be, even if...he was only with them in spirit. They really were best friends.
Kairi felt uneasiness in her heart, making her grip Sora's shirt more tightly and murmur in her sleep. She knew that, even while she was sleeping, that feeling was only the beginning of the negativity she would experience.

Sora glanced over at Kairi at her murmur, squeezing her hand as he kept his gaze on her. This was it. This was..."Time to wake up," he said softly, mostly to himself even though he knew Riku was conscious next to him. They needed to eat and get going.
Riku saw Kairi's eyebrows furrow slightly as she slept, but then he turned around. He lowered his gaze to the ground and took in a breath, knowing that Sora was right. They had to face reality now.

Sora sighed, turning his head to look at the girl he loved. "Kairi," he said softly, releasing her hand and moving his hand to her face. It was time to wake up.
Kairi took in a quiet breath at the touch. "Hm?" she hummed softly, eyes remaining closed. Sora... He was trying to wake her up, wasn't he? She was already halfway there.

"Time to wake up, baby," Sora said softly, running his thumb over Kairi's cheek and gazing at her sadly. They had to get up and get ready to leave to go to the Keyblade Graveyard.
Kairi tightened her grasp on Sora's shirt at that, knowing what he meant by getting up. They were getting up to leave. She didn't want to, but there was no way out of it. Kairi sighed softly and slowly opened her eyes, which immediately found Sora.

Sora kept his gaze on Kairi, seeing her wake up pretty quickly. Both of them normally took a while to wake up, but today wasn't a normal day. Today...could be his last day.
Kairi saw the look in Sora's eyes and immediately knew that the uneasiness she felt earlier came from him. She released his shirt and lifted her hand to the one that he had on her face, lightly holding his arm. No...

Sora felt his eyes get moist, and he turned his head to look up at the ceiling. "Time to get up," he said, forcing himself not to look back at Kairi so she wouldn't see him get worked out.

Riku knew enough time was spent sitting here, even if he wished Sora didn't have to do this. But this was his best friend's choice. He pushed himself up from the ground, knowing Sora was right about getting up.

Kairi's eyes left Sora and went to Riku, who she hadn't even known was there. She saw him turn around and glance back at them, and she saw the vulnerability in his eyes. He was sad...and scared.
