Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi glanced down at Sora's hand on hers before she lifted her head to him. She saw the look in his eyes and knew what she needed to do. She nodded faintly before loosening her hold on him, releasing him.

Sora's hand came back to his side when Kairi released him, and he looked up to all his friends. He didn't even know where to start with the farewells...He supposed that he would start with three of his newest friends. Terra, Aqua, and Ven. He took a few steps forward, stopping in front of the trio and looking over all of them. Maybe for the last time.
Aqua looked down at Sora and she couldn't help but let her eyes moisten at what was happening. She released Terra's hand and slowly stepped forward, wrapping her arms around the boy in silence.

Sora wrapped his arms around Aqua as well, his head finding the shoulder of his friend as he shut his eyes in sadness. He and Aqua became good friends, even if they had problems with respect along the line. She was wise and mature, and she taught him a lot. "Thanks," he said softly. "For everything."
Aqua closed her eyes, tightening her hold on Sora at that. "No...Thank you," she said as she held him. "You saved me from the Darkness, and you saved my friends. I'm so grateful to you, for all you've done."

Sora nodded slightly, his eyes remaining shut. He was glad to do it; he had become good friends with the Keybladers from the past. Even if that time was hard, he would go through it again in a heartbeat to save his friends. They meant the world to him. All of them.
After gently squeezing him, Aqua forced herself to release Sora, but only a little bit. She set her hands on his shoulders as she looked down at him, smiling sadly. "I knew from the moment I saw you that you were special, Sora," she said lightly. "And you've done nothing but proven to me how brave you are, and how sincere your heart is. It's led you this far, and I can only hope it will guide you further." She felt her eyes water a little more, but she kept the tears from falling. "Be strong, and good luck."

Sora looked up at Aqua when she shared some more wisdom, something he was always appreciative of. Even now, her words provided some comfort. "Thank you," he said softly with a faint nod, his eyes moist. He hoped that the strength of his heart would be enough to get him through this; he doubted he heard all the wisdom Aqua had to pass on to him.
Aqua nodded, smiling a little more before she took her hands back. She then took a step back so somebody else could say their farewell. It was that time.

Terra stepped up after Aqua did, setting his hands on Sora's shoulders and looking down at the boy that he admired in so many ways. "If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be standing here right now," he told the teen. "Your strength and pure heart won't go unnoticed up there," he said, motioning with his head towards the sky. Kingdom Hearts would surely see how loyal, dedicated, and true Sora was. Terra knew he saw it, all the time.
Aqua fought against her emotions, swallowing them down until Sora was out of sight. He wouldn't want to see her cry, or anyone so emotional at all. It would only make this harder on him, and that wasn't what Aqua wanted.

"I wish there was more time," Terra said honestly, glancing up at the sky before he looked back down at Sora. "I hope there will be. You're a good guy, Sora. You're a blessing to every person you've ever encountered."

"Thanks," Sora said, a weak smile tugging at his lips at Terra's words. The older man nodded and squeezed his shoulders before he stepped back to where he was before, with Aqua. So there was only one more person in this group he had to say goodbye to, and that was Ven. He turned his head and looked to the blond, who was already stepping up to speak to him. Ven...He had a connection with him that nobody else could grasp. They were like twins in a lot of ways.

Aqua's eyes left Terra when he stepped back, instead going to the two boys, one her best friend for so long, and the other a friend she hoped to have for a while longer. She kept her hands linked in front of her, remaining silent.

Ven didn't have a problem stepping up and hugging Sora, who returned the embrace. Since Ven was inside Sora for so long, they felt as if they knew each other for all their lives. For Sora, that was true. "I always did like you," he said to his close friend. "You're a sap like I am."

A weak laugh actually left Sora's lips, Ven's comment bringing that out of him. He supposed that they were both saps in similar ways; a bit too soft and naive in a lot of cases. But it was who they were. And who they were...they were also goofballs. "You're a goof, too," Sora added softly. "We could have gotten into so much trouble if we had more time..."

"We will have more time," Ven said confidently, still optimistic even if he was afraid for Sora. "What we had wasn't enough." They had only been friends for a little while, after Ven woke up. They needed to become closer than they already were in their hearts. He had faith it would happen when Sora finished his business with Kingdom Hearts.

Aqua couldn't help but smile at how sweet Ven was being, and at how he and Sora interacted. They were right; they were one and the same in a lot of ways. That was why she loved them both, and hoped things turned out alright. It would be hard to live without Sora.

Ven released Sora, nodding to him faintly and giving him a weak smile. He was optimistic on the outside, even if he was scared. He knew Sora would be the same way if his life wasn't the one on the line here. "Good luck," he said to his close friend.

Sora nodded faintly, forcing a weak smile for Ven's sake. He was trying so hard to be optimistic; he couldn't just ignore that. But these goodbyes were hard, that showing in his moist eyes. He turned on his feet, facing two more close friends. Roxas and Namine.

Roxas saw that it was their turn, and he looked over at Namine. He squeezed her hand slightly before loosening his hold on it. It was her turn now.

Namine slipped her hand out of Roxas's, seeing that Sora also understood that her goodbye would come first. He opened his arms to her and she walked into them, embracing him and letting her head find his shoulder. She didn't know what to say. She was terrible with goodbyes. This was a goodbye, she definitely didn't want to give, and that showed by how she was barely holding in her tears. She felt Sora run a hand over her back in comfort, and she knew that he would wait. Maybe...nothing needed to be said.
Roxas's eyes softened at the scene before him, his eyes on Namine mostly. He pressed his lips together, not sure how his goodbye would go either...

...No, if this was the last time she would see him, Namine had to say something. "Thank you, Sora," she said softly. "You've always been there for me, and making me smile, and just..." She swallowed, squeezing him and also squeezing her eyes shut when tears threatened to escape. "You've always been a true friend."

Sora gently squeezed Namine, his eyes growing more moist at the sound of his friend's choked up voice. "Same to you, Namine," he said softly. She was patient and always available, and her genuinely sweet nature always made him smile. She was a terrific friend, even if their meeting wasn't very good.

Roxas stood by and watched in silence, though he lowered his gaze to the ground upon hearing Namine's voice. She was so sad... They all were.

Namine released Sora after a few moments, her tears remaining in her eyes when she stepped back and looked up at his face. She saw his eyes were moist too, but there was nothing either of them could do now to take away those tears. She stepped back to where she was before, folding her arms over her chest as she kept her eyes on Sora. She couldn't believe he really had to do this...
Roxas lifted his gaze to Namine when she was beside him, and he knew it was his turn to say goodbye. His blue eyes found the ones identical to his and he felt his sorrow grow. Did they really have to do this? He hated goodbyes.

Sora's eyes were locked on Roxas's, and he didn't know what to do. Even if he was his Nobody, he was Sora's best friend. They had a connection unlike the one Sora had with anybody else, even Ven, who he was really close to. What was he supposed to say to Roxas?
Roxas blinked in the silence, but then he knew that he had to do something. He walked foward and wordlessly hugged his best friend, his Somebody. That bond was strong, and he was fortunate enough to have his Other be somebody so good. Seeing him go would be hard.
