Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi wrapped her arms around Sora's back, though her hands clung to his clothes. He couldn't be leaving her, not like this... She nearly lost him once in the past, and she didn't want it to happen again. She sobbed once into him, which muffled it, though it was loud enough to be heard.

Sora lifted a hand and set it on the back of Kairi's head, his fingers in her hair when he heard her sob. He didn't bother shushing her, knowing that he couldn't do that when he was already in tears himself. He couldn't do this! He couldn't leave her behind...He just couldn't.
Kairi held onto Sora as tightly as she could, never wanting to let go. She wouldn't let go... Never. He was with her, always, in her heart. Even if he left her, he would still be with her. And that was never going to change.

Sora didn't know if he expected Kairi to say anything or not, and he knew that right now he would start sobbing if he opened his lips. He kept his mouth shut, nuzzling his head against Kairi's as another tear left his eye.
"Sora," Kairi said softly, tears heavy as she spoke. This would be the last time she'd address him, wouldn't it? The last time she spoke his name to him, to the boy she adored and loved with all she had. Her Prince Charming...

Sora stayed silent, just holding his beloved in his arms with his face hidden in her beautiful red hair. Whatever she had to say, he would listen. He could never ignore the girl he loved, especially not in these circumstances.
Kairi didn't know what to say. She wanted to say something, anything. She wanted to tell Sora how he made her feel, and how he was her hero and her Prince that every Princess needed... All of those things and more.

Sora silently moved his hand off of Kairi's hair, setting it on her back and holding her gently like he always did. After this goodbye...he had to go. He couldn't hold a weapon that would be a danger to his friends, even if this process could take his life. He would protect them from himself.
I have to tell him now...before it's too late, Kairi thought, making her decision then. She opened her eyes, lifting her hands from Sora's back and bringing them up to his face. She let her watery gaze fall on his face then, the girl wanting to get one last look at those eyes before Sora's fate was determined.

Sora pulled back a little from Kairi, glad that his tears were probably mostly wiped away when me nuzzled his face against her hair. He looked down at her with bright blue eyes, seeing the moisture in hers.
Kairi's watery blue eyes found those of Sora, and she only kept her hands against his damp cheeks. "When I was a little girl, I dreamed that one day I would find a Prince," she started softly, her voice showing her sadness but also her love. "Before I even knew I was a Princess, I found him." She smiled sadly and wiped at the wetness on Sora's cheeks. "It was you. You were my Prince Charming, my protector...my warrior."

Sora couldn't help but smile sadly, his eyes staying on Kairi's. He knew how she felt, because he was the same in many ways. "I always dreamed of finding a princess," he said, though he didn't mean literally finding a real princess. "You're my dream come true," he said softly, lifting a hand and tucking back some of Kairi's red hair.
Kairi felt more tears leak from her eyes at that, the girl lowering her head for a moment. This...was so difficult. This goodbye was breaking her heart. "You're my best friend," she added softly, looking up at him again. "And you're the one I love. My heart's been yours for as long as I can remember..."

Sora's hand moved to Kairi's shoulder as he sadly gazed at her, seeing her crying. He was fighting not to, his big blue eyes staying on her. He couldn't accept that he would never see her again; he would again...someday. Hopefully very soon.
Kairi leaned her head forward, letting her forehead find Sora's. "...This isn't goodbye," she said shakily. "It can't be. I won't let you go." Another tear fell from one of her eyes, one of her hands going to rest on the back of Sora's neck.

Sora's hand cupped the back of Kairi's head again, his eyes staying on hers despite how close they were. "I'll find you again someday, if I'm lost," he said softly. By "lost", he obviously meant "dead", but he couldn't say that word, not wanting to think about it even when it was right on the tip of his tongue.
Kairi rubbed her thumb over Sora's cheek at the words, believing in that promise. She always would. "I love you," she said softly, her fingers on the back of Sora's neck going into his hair. "I'm with you...always."

"I love you too," Sora responded softly, the moisture in his eyes increasing. "Forever." He leaned forward and shut his eyes, his lips connecting with Kairi's in a gentle kiss.
Kairi's eyes fell shut at the kiss, tears instantly leaking from behind her eyelids. She kissed Sora back, too aware of the fact that this could be the last one they would ever share. Because of that, she would savor it and treasure it forever.

Sora took his hands off Kairi and lifted them to her face, knowing without looking that she started crying. He wiped at her tears with his thumbs as one tear left the corner of his eye. He couldn't help it; he was holding back much more than that one tear.
The hand in Sora's hair tightened slightly as Kairi's lips moved with his, the girl not wanting to let this moment go. Her heart was skipping beats at the kiss, but also in fear. What if her prince never came back? No, he promised he would find her again... Sora wouldn't leave her completely, ever.
  • Author
After a few more moments, Sora regretfully ended the kiss. He pulled back but kept his forehead against Kairi's, a soft sigh leaving his lips. It was time...
Kairi didn't open her eyes, taking the boy before her in. His touch, his smell, his warmth... She let her fingers spread through his spiky and unruly hair, a trait about him that she adored beyond belief. She thought of his goofy smile that always made her laugh. She remembered his fighting spirit and his bravery, and how sincere and true his heart was. Kairi could feel it, and she would absorb that one last connection while it was still there.

Sora took his hands away from Kairi's face, wrapping his arms around her for a moment and gently squeezing her. After a few seconds, he moved his hands to her shoulders and opened his moist eyes to look at her. He had everything about her memorized already--her bright blue eyes that shone when she was happy, her red hair that was always placed just right, and her heart that was always more beautiful than any of her stunning physical features. She was his princess. She always would be.
Kairi's hands left Sora when he placed his hands on her shoulders, and she only looked up at him with her tearful eyes. Come back to me, she thought silently. I'll wait for you. She couldn't live without him. There was no life without him there. Sora had to be with her, in this life.
