Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Never forget, how much I love you," Sora said softly, looking Kairi in the eye when he spoke to her. It was so important that she always knew how loved she was, by him and all their friends. If he didn't make it out of this, he trusted all of his friends would take care of Kairi. He didn't even have to request it; he knew it would happen if he didn't come back.
"I won't," Kairi said softly, looking up at the boy she loved with all her heart; every part of it. "I promise." She could never forget how much love poured out of Sora whenever he expressed it toward her; it was impossible to forget.

Sora nodded slightly, taking his forehead away from Kairi's and forcing himself to take a step back and release her shoulders. He exhaled a soft breath, his gaze wandering towards the top of the cliff. He needed to go and face his destiny.
Kairi took a step over toward Riku, knowing that she would need his support once Sora left. But her eyes stayed on Sora, her tears still silently falling.

Sora realized he was in the middle of the circle, and so he took a few steps back and stood in the open area between Riku and Roxas. "Guys..." he said softly, though he didn't know what he would say after that. "...Thank you. For everything." They all shaped him in some way and made him the person he was today; he couldn't imagine having not met any one of them. He would miss them if this ended badly.

Riku nodded to his best friend, blinking past the moisture in his eyes. He saw Roxas do the same on the other side of Sora. If this was his last day, Riku was going to miss him...terribly.

Aqua smiled weakly, wiping under her eye when she felt a tear about to escape. She could only hope that Sora came out of this alive and well. A person like him didn't deserve a cruel fate.

Sora turned to look at Riku, knowing that there was one thing he had to say concerning this whole matter. It was important to make sure that his friends wouldn't wait here forever if he wasn't coming back. "If I'm not back in two days, then..."
"I know," Riku said, cutting Sora off. He swallowed because of how his voice was so shaky, the boy trying to keep his emotions from spilling. He loved his best friend, but he really hoped things didn't come to that.

Sora didn't finish speaking when Riku cut him off, only nodding. But then he remembered one other crucial matter that he had to take care of. "Kairi," he said, looking past Riku to the girl he loved as he reached into his pocket.
Kairi lifted her eyebrows slightly, unsure of what Sora was doing. Her eyes glanced from him to his hand in his pocket. He wasn't...

Sora pulled out the lucky charm Kairi had given him so long ago, an item he always cherished. He held it out towards her, his eyes on hers. "I promised I'd give it back," he said softly. It was a really long time ago, but the promise was still one he intended to keep.
Kairi looked down at the charm with watery eyes. She glanced up at Sora before her gaze returned to the charm, wordlessly reaching out and taking it from his hand. She stared down at it before hugging it to her chest with both hands, nodding to the boy she cherished.

Sora nodded slightly, tearing his gaze away from Kairi when his eyes became moist again. He looked over everyone in the group and then walked backwards for a few steps before he turned around and walked normally, heading towards a path that was cut into the side of the cliff.
Kairi turned a little, her eyes following the boy she loved. She hoped Kingdom Hearts realized that what he was doing was for the safety of others, not because of his own selfish wishes. Even more than that, Kairi prayed Sora would come back to her.

Namine watched Sora through tearful eyes, her arms wrapped around Roxas. She kept her eyes on her friend until he was out of her sight, a tear leaving her eye then. She hoped he came back...He had to. Kingdom Hearts couldn't take him away from them.

When Sora was out of sight, Riku looked down at Kairi, who instantly turned to him and buried her face in his shirt. He wrapped his arms around her and lowered his head, fighting his own tears as Kairi cried into his chest.

Roxas held Namine as close as he could, knowing that everything was in Kingdom Hearts's hands now. He felt a tear leave his eye as he closed them, resting his head against Namine's.

Aqua brought a hand to her mouth as tears fell from her eyes, the girl watching Sora go until he was out of her sight. She wasn't one to usually cry in difficult situations like this, but this one involved the little boy she met on the islands so many years ago. He held so much innocence...

Terra brought a hand to his forehead, his head lowering and eyes shutting. Why did this have to happen? Sora shouldn't have had to walk that path alone. He shouldn't have had to walk the path at all. He was such a good kid, brave and true. He was the last person who deserved to die.

Ven folded his arms over his chest, lowering his head and shutting his eyes as a tear or two left his eyes. He was optimistic about his friend's return, but he was so saddened by the situation that he had to cry. He would miss him so much if he didn't come back.

Aqua closed her eyes, lowering her head. Her hand that was on her mouth moved to her heart. Sora was a strong boy, somebody who had so much bravery but still so much heart. She hoped Kingdom Hearts saw that.

Sora walked the rocky path alone, careful not to step on a stone that would set him off balance. With each step he took, a memory of his friends flashed before his mind. Good memories, because he and his friends had enough of those to last a lifetime. Regardless, he hoped that he would be able to create even more good memories with his friends. He made it to the top of the cliff after a little while and walked out on the level ground, stopping in the middle and looking towards the sky.
Riku held Kairi in silence, his eyes closed for the moment. He could feel the wetness from her tears against his shirt, but he didn't care about it. She had a reason to cry; they all did. Some just held it in, like him. But he was sure that wouldn't last long.

A soft gasp left Sora's lips when he saw the clouds suddenly move, dispelling and revealing a bright blue light behind them. He felt his knees knock a little in fear as he got down on his knees, looking up as Kingdom Hearts was fully revealed.
Riku released a startled grunt, his watery eyes lifting to the sky at the blue light. Kingdom Hearts... He grasped Kairi a little tighter at the sight of it, knowing that it was what held their friend's destiny.

Sora set his hands on his knees nervously, gripping his pants in nervousness that Kingdom Hearts would smite him right away. But after a few seconds of waiting, nothing happened. He was a bit relieved at that, though he knew that he wasn't out of the woods yet. "Kingdom Hearts," he said shakily. How was he supposed to speak to it? Like it was a real person? He supposed that was his best bet; he knew he had to respect Kingdom Hearts. And he wouldn't disrespect it with lies. "I'm...scared," he confessed softly, a tear leaking from his eye and going down his cheek. "I don't want to die..."
Aqua opened her eyes, but that was when she saw a blue light shining from above and onto the ground. Looking up, she blinked away her blurry vision and stared at the sight of Kingdom Hearts. She saw it so many years ago, when Master Xehanort summoned it.

"I know...the X-blade chose me for a reason," Sora said, looking down as he spoke. "But...I can't handle the burden of that weapon." He looked up at Kingdom Hearts, hoping to elaborate. "It's my friends. I can't risk hurting them. They mean everything to me, and I'm meant to protect them, not destroy them." He shook his head in sorrow, the words coming easy when he was honest with himself. "That's why I was given the Keyblade in the first place. To protect the things that matter. But the X-blade...even if it respects me as a master, I can't wield it and protect my friends with it. If my emotions brought out the weapons true power, they'd be toast. I can't...handle that."
