A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Aqua opened her eyes after a minute and finally released Sora, nodding to him before stepping back to where she was beside Ventus. She linked her hands in front of her, silent.

Sora and Ventus shared a hug that was probably as long as the one he had with Aqua, and when it was done, they both nodded to each other. Sora smiled and looked around, realizing that he was in the middle of a circle. He stepped back next to Kairi and saw her hand by her side, so he grabbed it and held it in his own.

Kairi put her free hand on Sora's arm, like they had been when they first arrived here. But she looked up at him with a gleeful smile, squeezing his hand. She was so glad he was still here with them all. It wouldn't be the same without him.

Sora couldn't help but look down at Kairi and smile at her, his hand squeezing hers. This was the way she held him before on the way here, but now the circumstances were totally different. And he was extremely glad for that.

Aqua let her eyes focus on the young warrior who just returned to them, her smile slowly fading away as she turned serious. "We were all so scared for you, Sora," she said softly. "That beam of light... What happened?"

Sora glanced up towards the sky even though Kingdom Hearts couldn't be seen, his smile fading away at Aqua's serious question. "It took back the X-blade," he responded softly, looking over his group of friends. He had been so scared it was going to take him away or hurt him somehow, but it hadn't.

Roxas furrowed his eyebrows. If Kingdom Hearts took the X-blade... Did that mean...? "Does that mean you don't have the Keyblade anymore?" he asked, his eyes on his best friend. Could he not wield the Keyblade at all?

Sora looked down at his free hand briefly, Roxas's question a good one. Kingdom Hearts hadn't specifically said, but he was under the impression he still held the Keyblade. He flexed that hand and the Kingdom Key appeared, making a smile appear on his lips. "Still mine," he said to Roxas, nodding.

Roxas instantly smiled. Great! Sora could still wield the Keyblade, and thankfully it was his own and not the X-blade, like before.

 

Kairi squeezed Sora's hand that she was holding, her eyes on the weapon in his grasp. Thank goodness. Sora was still himself.

Sora glanced over at Kairi, smiling softly as he summoned his weapon away. Kingdom Hearts told him to keep protecting his friends, so that was why he assumed that he still had the Keyblade. He was really fortunate that things worked out in his favor.

"What happened up there?" Riku asked, tilting his head as he looked at Sora. He had been up there for hours. He was quite curious as to what was going on while Sora was handling business.

"There's a lot I can't say," Sora said, his smile fading away as he shook his head. "But I can tell you guys the basics. Kingdom Hearts accepted the X-blade partially because now that it's locked away within it, nobody can forge it and use it against the worlds. Nobody can ever wield it again unless Kingdom Hearts allows them to." And that was really great, because Kingdom Hearts had a lot of wisdom within it.

"Mm," Aqua hummed softly. "That's wonderful news." Now nobody could terrorize the universe with that awful weapon. It was relieving to hear.

"You said that's 'partially' why Kingdom Hearts accepted it," Terra pointed out, leading up to his next question. "Why else did it...do what it did?" Kingdom Hearts had mercy on Sora...Why?

 

"Because of you guys," Sora said with a soft smile, looking over everyone in the group. "I told it I wanted to protect you guys. And I was honest in telling it that I would rather die than hurt you. I think that's why it took it away and let me keep my other Keyblade. Because I'm meant to protect my friends."

Kairi hugged Sora's arm a little more at that news and smiled warmly. "You spoke from your heart," she assumed softly. That was why Kingdom Hearts let him live. He was sincere.

"Mm," Sora hummed with a nod, looking down at Kairi when she spoke. That's right, he believed that was exactly what he did. He was sincere and honest and Kingdom Hearts honored that in more ways than one. It passed on a lot of its wisdom to him...What a huge honor and privileged to gain that. To be seen as worthy to gain that.

"So that light we saw... That was Kingdom Hearts taking the X-blade?" Aqua assumed, though it came out as more of a question. It made sense. Sora was still here, and that must have been the only way to reach Kingdom Hearts physically.

"Right," Sora said with a nod, shifting his gaze to Aqua when she asked the question. It was surprising to see the light come down like that, but somehow, he had enough faith in Kingdom Hearts not to back away when it came so close to him. It was strange how even his fear didn't keep him from withdrawing when he knew what was necessary.

Aqua hummed softly in understanding. Well, everything seemed alright again. Actually, better than alright. Xehanort was gone, and so was the Organization. But so was the X-blade. "You know," she started softly, smiling as she looked to the sky. "I think things will start to look up from here."

Sora smiled, turning his head and looking down at Kairi. He gave her a light kiss on the head, at the same time silently speaking to her. "It really will," he told her softly, referring to what Aqua said. Things were only going to get better now.

Kairi closed her eyes at the gesture, but then she opened them back up. She looked at Sora, peace filling her for the first time in a while. "Let's go home," she said to him, but also to all of her friends. It was time to start over again, with nothing but happiness and fun in their lives.

Sora pulled back from the kiss when Kairi looked up at him, and he glanced at all his other friends and nodded slightly. He saw Terra and Ven start walking, and Sora only tightened his grip on Kairi's hand before he started forward. It was time to leave this place and go where they really belonged. Home.

Kairi walked with Sora automatically, seeing Riku and Roxas follow just behind, as well as Aqua. It was time for them to return to the islands, where everything would fall back into place again.

Later on Destiny Islands

 

By the time they all arrived home, it was a little after sunset. It made sense; they were at the Keyblade Graveyard the whole day. But they were home now, and that was all that mattered. They were on the mainland currently, and even though they were tired, none of them really wanted to separate.

Aqua stared out at the water, things quiet around her. Everyone was probably thinking about what they went through the past week or so; it had been chaos. But now the most chaos Aqua saw was the waves rolling in, their dull roar reaching her ears as the breeze passed by.
