Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua turned her head, looking over her shoulder a little to see how Terra and Riku were doing. They were both fighting furiously, but for now, she had to stay out of the action and help Ventus. She turned her eyes back to her best friend, still supporting his neck and shoulders with her arm. He looked incredibly weak, and she wasn't sure if there was anything that could cure that, even a Cure spell. Or could it?

Gotta snap out of this...Ven thought, almost feeling like he could pass out again. He couldn't just sit here...He needed to fight too. Where was Vanitas? It didn't seem like he was here; it seemed like it was two against one, judging by the noise. Well, whatever was going on, he needed to join in. Right away.
It's worth a shot, Aqua thought silently. She reached over and grabbed her Keyblade, pointing it at the sky. She called upon the magic of healing, and she heard the small twinkling of a Curaga spell being cast. Looking down at Ven, she saw the green glow over his form, and she hoped that would help him recover quickly. As much as she hated to admit it when he was like this, they needed him in this fight.

Ven felt warmth all over his body, and without even having his eyes opened, he knew that Aqua had cast a Cure spell on him. He felt the fatigue melt away as well as some injuries, allowing him to open his eyes again and feel more alert.
"We need you, Ven," Aqua said over the battle behind her. "Are you strong enough?" If he was still too weak, then she was going to have him sit out. Xehanort wouldn't kill him, but Vanitas would try to do more than that when he got back...

"Yeah," Ventus lied with a nod, setting a hand on the ground beside him and forcing himself to sit upright. The spell helped a little bit, but he still wasn't very strong. Regardless, sitting out wasn't an option. His friends needed him.
Aqua pulled her arms back when Ven sat up, her Keyblade still in her grasp. She nodded a little. If he said so, but if she saw anything wrong, she was taking him out. Aqua couldn't afford to lose anybody; they needed to overcome Xehanort.

Ventus blinked when he felt lightheaded, but other than that, he didn't react to it. He set his feet on the ground and pushed with his hand, forcing himself up to stand up. He hoped he didn't appear as shaky as he felt; if that happened, Aqua would take him out of the battle, and that wouldn't have been alright with him.
Aqua lifted one leg and set her foot on the ground, rising from her knees. She kept her Keyblade in her grasp and turned around to face the two other comrades in battle. "Ven," she said, turning her head to look at him. "Don't push yourself too far, okay?"

Ven's Keyblade appeared in his grasp when Aqua spoke, and he turned his head and looked at her, nodding in response to what she said. But...he was probably going to do just that, which was why Aqua had probably said it in the first place. But it didn't matter; they needed to win this battle, and he would do everything he could to help.
Aqua nodded once to Ven and then turned her eyes forward. "Go!" she ordered immediately, lifting her Keyblade into the air and calling to Thundaga among her spells, having it rain down on Xehanort from afar.

Back in Destiny Islands, Namine watched the battle between Roxas and the masked boy from her place on the deck, worry present in her bright blue eyes. Roxas...He wasn't looking so good. She was really concerned, but she bit down to force herself to be silent, the girl knowing that she didn't want the masked boy coming close to her.

Roxas swung his Keyblade at Vanitas, but he managed to dodge another one of his attacks. Who was this guy, and how was he so...skilled? It was almost superhuman. Roxas dodge-rolled away from a few dark lightning attacks sent his way before he dashed toward Vanitas, hitting him once, but when he went for a combo, Vanitas froze. After so long of battling, he knew exactly what that meant.

"Too slow," Vanitas scolded darkly, bringing his Keyblade down on Roxas from behind. The Nobody cried out in pain and Vanitas didn't stop; he swung his Keyblade in a quick fashion, hitting the blond so hard that he was sent tumbling backward, landing on his stomach.

A startled gasp left Namine's lips, a hand coming up to her mouth as she stared at Roxas with wide eyes. Roxas! she thought worriedly, having seen him get hit roughly just now. She wanted to rush right over to him, but the presence of the masked boy kept her frozen in place.

Roxas grunted, his hands curling into fists by his face, at the same time grabbing some sand without trying. He opened his eyes a little, lifting his head weakly to see Vanitas slowly approaching. He saw Oblivion out of the corner of his eye, and he reached for it with as much energy as he could. He had to fight back.

"Don't even try, Nobody," Vanitas said, taking his time and walking at a leisurely pace towards the boy who was near the shack. "There's no hope for you, just as there's no hope for the heartless body I've been ordered to destroy."

Roxas blinked, eyebrows furrowing in anger as he glared at Vanitas. Sora! He was going to kill Sora! But first...he has to get rid of me...

Namine took a small step forward, watching the boy walk towards her boyfriend. She wanted to help, but she knew that she would only create more trouble if she tried to do something. She didn't know anything about fighting, and if Roxas was defeated by this boy, then she wouldn't last ten seconds against him if he attacked her. She could only hope that Roxas recovered quickly enough to fight back.

Roxas knew that he had to protect Sora; he was the only one who could. If he didn't, then not only was he a goner, but so was his best friend! He lifted Oblivion, swinging it horizontally as hard as he could as he remained on his stomach, trying to strike at Vanitas's legs.

Vanitas merely lifted his leg to avoid being struck by the Keyblade, and he smirked behind his helmet. He stepped down on Roxas's hand, stopping him from lifting his weapon again.

Roxas squeezed his eyes shut, releasing a short cry before he closed his mouth to muffle it. He grunted, opening his eyes to look at his hand that was currently being crushed by Vanitas's foot. No...

A soft whimper of worry left Namine's lips, and she took another small step forward without thought. Roxas...He couldn't fight anymore! And the masked boy wouldn't hold back against him. She felt her eyes start to water in worry, her gaze staying on her boyfriend.

Vanitas moved his Keyblade to grip with both hands, blade down as he lifted it vertically. "Enjoy oblivion," he said lowly, aiming his blade for Roxas's back.

Roxas curled his left hand into a tigher fist, angry at how he was overcome by this guy. He moved his eyes to Namine and upon seeing her expression, closed his own. I'm sorry...

Namine felt frozen, first at Roxas's eyes on her and then because of how he shut his eyes. No! He couldn't go! She needed him; she couldn't live without the person that she loved with all her heart. If she wasn't so frozen by fear and sorrow, she would have cried out his name or something, but she couldn't do it.
Vanitas lifted his blade a little more, and after tightening his grip on the handle, he started to thrust it toward Roxas's back. But something stopped him just before he made contact. He sensed something... Some...Light. And not just any Light, but Pure Light.

Namine was unaware of the tears streaming down her face already, though she didn't see Roxas injured in any way at that moment. The boy stopped his blade before he would have stabbed him...Why?

It isn't that coward Ventus, Vanitas thought, staring at his Keyblade. If it wasn't him, though, he knew it had to be somebody else. Vanitas turned his head, sensing the Light coming from higher up. He saw the deck and treehouse built above. There.

Roxas peeked an eye open in caution, wondering why he hadn't been struck down yet. He saw Vanitas's boots in front of him, but what was going on?

Namine subconsciously bit down on her lip, her eyes moving from Roxas to the stranger. He still hadn't struck down her boyfriend, which was strange. Why...Why wasn't he doing what he originally set out to do? And what was he looking at?

Vanitas switched his blade swiftly over into his right hand, no longer having it pointed at Roxas. He looked down at the Nobody, meeting his blue gaze. "I'm coming back for you," he informed him lowly. He then brought back his leg, swinging it forward and kicking Roxas hard in the side of the head.

Roxas grunted, eyes closing in pain. But it only registered to him for a moment before he felt himself slipping into unconsciousness. His grip on Oblivion loosened, his head resting on the sand, out cold.
