A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Yup," the man replied with a nod. "Not afraid of showin' off his prize, I'll tell you that much." He hiccupped again, bringing a hand to his chest. Too much to drink, he thought silently.

Aqua's nobody's 'prize', Terra thought, eyes narrowing in anger. He fought against his urge to grab the man by his neck again, true to his word that he wouldn't do that as long as the man spoke to him. "Where did he take her?"

The man rolled his eyes, looking up at Terra. "You want me to rat the boy out, don'tcha?" he asked, though he only laughed. "You've gotta be kiddin'."

Terra's hand bolted up for the man's throat again, and once more, he pressed him harder against the wall. "Do I look like I'm kidding?" he asked lowly, eyes narrowed as he glared at the drunkard. He was completely serious, and he expected to get an answer right away from the idiot who opened up to him in the first place.

The drunk tensed at the hand to his throat, squeezing his eyes shut. Okay, so the kid wasn't joking. "Fine, fine I'll tell you," he said, opening his eyes to look at Terra. "Ever heard of a guy named Even? Or was it Vexen that he changed it to? I dunno..."

"Yes, I know who you're talking about," Terra said, keeping his hand around the man's throat. "Keep going." What did Vexen have to do with this? He was surely dead; he was killed in Radiant Garden along with Saix and Master Xehanort.

"People around here called him a mastermind or somethin'," the guy continued. "Said he was the best scientist they'd ever seen before, and best bad guy. Saw the creep once myself, and I can't say he was any different than what they said." He swallowed, feeling Terra's tight grip even more. "Anyway, Xavier came to like him, probably because of his power and authority over others, so he became his little lab partner."

"So Xavier took her to Vexen's laboratory?" Terra guessed, sick of this guy's babbling. He didn't need an explanation. He just needed to know which way to go and who to kill to get to Aqua. He already knew the latter, so as soon as he got the information from the drunkard, he'd be on his way.

"Well I doubt he's still here," the drunkard replied. "Came to get some equipment and went on his way, to that stupid laboratory I bet." The kid was tough, and was a rebel, yet he had the brains to be a scientist? It didn't make any sense to him.

Terra loosened his grip on the guy's neck, judging him to see if he was being honest, and then released him completely. "That's all I needed to know," he said. He motioned with his head towards the bar and where he had been sitting before. "Go get another drink." Terra's business was done here.

The drunkard relaxed once he was released and then he saluted awkwardly to Terra from being under the influence. Another drink? "Will do, cap'n," he said with a drunken smile, walking back over to where he was before.

"Hmph." Terra watched the guy stumble back to the bar, but then he turned around and started out of the bar. He knew where Vexen's laboratory was; Axel told them all which world it was on a while ago. So, Terra was going to head there right away. Surely Xavier and Aqua were there. He walked out of the bar and was sure to walk a little ways for the woods and then summon his glider there so he wouldn't be seen. And then he flew off, going to save his best friend.

In Vexen's lab...

 

Aqua cried out, an electrical surge traveling through her body. It felt like she was on fire, her insides burning at the shocks coursing through her. She felt tears leave her eyes, like they had after only a few hours of this. What was he doing to her?

 

Xavier watched Aqua's reactions with a clipboard in his hand, though his eyes weren't on her anymore. Instead, he was looking at the machine that represented the strength and weakness of her heart during these tests. She was quite strong, he had to admit.

Terra reached Vexen's laboratory after flying as fast as he could on his glider, though Heartless ships slowed him down a little bit. But he was in the castle where the lab was a few floors underground, Keyblade already in his grasp as he crept through the halls. He heard a faint cry and he picked up his speed a little, still pretty quiet.

Aqua's tense muscles instantly relaxed once the shocks ended, though she still wasn't comfortable. Her arms were spread out at her sides, her wrists in cuffs that held her to the wall, though her feet were chained to the wall directly beneath her. She opened her eyes halfway as she looked down at the ground, hanging loosely. "What are...you doing to me?" she asked breathlessly, weak.

 

Xavier turned to Aqua after jotting down some notes, walking over to her as he crossed his arms. He looked up at her with an evil smirk. "I told you once before, but before I could finish, you fainted on me," he said. "So I guess I'll repeat myself. I'm testing the strength of your heart and what makes your heart so much better than everyone else's. Seeing what makes a Keyblade Master so much different than the other guys."

Terra heard muffled voices and saw light coming from a room all the way down the hall, and so he forced himself to stay light on his feet as he hurried towards that room. Aqua and Xavier were in there...He just knew it. And he was ready to be her hero and rescue her from this creep.

Xavier walked back over to where he had been before, putting his hand above the button that he usually pushed to activate the machine. "With all of the tests I've performed, I'll finally be able to gather the information that Vexen never had a chance to get," he added. "And not one person can save you; the lab's on a world that none of your friend's know about, not even your Romeo that tried saving you. But he was too late."

 

Aqua lifted her head weakly. "Terra...?" she said softly. She lowered her gaze back down, looking at her bruised ankles and bare feet, still dressed in her shorts and tank top that she went to bed in. Aqua heard Xavier smack the button and she cried out, squeezing her eyes shut as her whole body tensed and burned.

Terra saw the man standing by the door when he pushed the button, and he tensed when he heard Aqua cry out again. Well, her "Romeo" was here to save her now. Best to get in there and finish it quickly. Terra stormed in and pointed his Keyblade at Xavier's throat right in front of him, eyes narrowed in anger. "Turn off the machine," he ordered lowly. He was done hurting Aqua. "Now!"

Xavier didn't blink, though he did tense a little. "And who are you?" he asked above Aqua's screams, calm despite the threat. One thing he learned from Vexen was to stay calm at all times while in the lab, and keep a clear head.

 

Aqua kept her eyes closed still, and even over her screams she could hear another voice. But who was it? She couldn't really focus on it, tears leaving her eyes at the pain that was coursing through every part of her body.

"Her Romeo," Terra responded lowly, having heard Xavier refer to him that way earlier. He tried to stop him the other night and he failed, but today, he wouldn't fail. "So stop the machine!"

Xavier only smirked. He hit a button, turning the machine to automatic. It shut off for the moment, but Terra didn't know that. Aqua's torment would only continue, but periodically.

 

Aqua gasped when the electrical surges ended, and her body hung loosely as her muscles relaxed again. She kept her eyes closed, trying not too cry anymore than she had. It wouldn't do her any good; Xavier didn't care.

"Now step away from it," Terra said lowly, keeping his Keyblade pointed at Xavier's throat. He was going to kill him, but he didn't want the man pushing any more buttons that could hurt Aqua.

Terra, Aqua thought weakly, her heart skipping a beat at the sound of his voice. He found her...

 

Xavier held up his hands in surrender, though his smirk still remained. He took a few steps away from the machine, just like Terra instructed.

Terra kept Xavier at the tip of his blade, eyes narrowed at that smirk. He wanted to kill him so badly, but killing an unarmed man was something Terra was trained not to do. Eraqus made him too honorable in battle to kill somebody who couldn't defend themselves. But Terra was willing to let go of that honor for Aqua.

Aqua lifted her head, opening her eyes halfway because that was all she could do. "Terra..." she said, speaking to him. "You...came." She was so happy to see him. He was here for her.
