A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Aqua looked up at Terra and nodded, relieved to hear that. All she wanted was to be with the ones she loved and safe at home. She dealt with all the pain she could today.

Terra slipped his other arm under Aqua's legs and gently picked her up, having no problem standing upright and holding her to him. He couldn't help but look down at her, sad and concerned.

Aqua leaned against Terra in silence, her eyes on his as she brought her hands up to grip his shirt again. She was so thankful she had him. If he hadn't come...she could have died. But he saved her...

"...Go to sleep," Terra said softly after a few moments, his eyes locked on Aqua's. She looked like she was in so much pain...She could pass out now and everything would be alright. He would take care of her.

Aqua nodded slightly before she lowered her head, closing her eyes. She kept her grip on Terra's shirt as she snuggled a little more against him, releasing a soft breath. She was so tired, and the pain only made her want to sleep more.

Terra looked down at Aqua for a few moments, unable to help it. He never saw her so...vulnerable. In need of protection. And he was the one meant to provide it! Well, he wouldn't let her down. He saw Riku ahead and he started walking. It was time to go.

Aqua listened to the steady rhythm of Terra's heartbeat as he started walking, and eventually, it helped her to fall asleep. Her tense form relaxed in Terra's hold, the girl falling into a deep slumber.

The next day...

 

Terra sat in a chair by Aqua's bed, his chin lowered to his chest as he got some rest. Aqua hadn't woken up since she fell asleep on him on the way home, and he hardly separated himself from her during that time. When he saw how vulnerable she was back there and how she needed protection, he swore he would be the one to provide it. He would provide the protection she needed, along with whatever comfort he could.

Aqua knew she was waking up when the pain registered. It started in her chest first, no doubt due to the tests done on her heart the day before. But as she got closer to consciousness, she felt it in her arms and legs, and head and neck; everywhere from that awful machine. The girl whined slightly in her sleep, her eyebrows furrowing.

Terra stirred slightly, a light sleeper. And he couldn't sleep too deeply anyway, knowing that Aqua could wake up any time and require something of him. He had to be able to take care of her...He cared too much not to.

Aqua grunted when she felt a sharp pang flow throughout her whole body, making her grip the bedsheets. Ow... She squeezed her eyes shut, awake now because of the intensity. What did Xavier do to her?

Terra woke up when he heard other noises, blinking a few times to get rid of the sleepiness. He looked over at the bed and saw her expression, seeing that she was waking up. "Aqua?" he said softly.

"...It hurts, Terra," Aqua said weakly, not opening her eyes. She didn't feel like she was on fire or like her blood was boiling, like before. Now, it was just really bad surges, and it hurt everywhere.

Terra scooted his seat closer to the girl on the bed, his sad eyes on her. "I'm sorry to hear that," he said softly. He really, really wished that she wasn't in so much pain, but nothing could cure this. Terra had Sora use up all his magic on cure spells for her when she was asleep, but they hadn't helped a thing.

Aqua kept her hands where they were, still gripping the bedsheets tightly. She wanted nothing more than for this to go away. "...Cure," she said softly, suggesting it to Terra. He had to Cure her so it would stop... Why hadn't that been done already?

"We already tried that," Terra said softly, faintly shaking his head. "The damage was done to your heart; there's no way to heal that..." Only time would heal those wounds. Time and lots of rest.

Aqua opened her eyes, grinding her teeth together as another pang shot through her. That really wasn't good. "What did he do to me?" she asked herself quietly, even if Terra could hear. He said she was unconscious during some of the tests...and the only one she really remembered was being hooked onto that wall...

"He was testing the strength of your heart," Terra said, some disgust present in his voice. Most of it was kept inside, though, since he knew he needed to be calm to give Aqua answers. "To see what made you strong enough to be a Keyblade Master."

Aqua's eyebrows furrowed at that, feeling the pain start to wear off for now. "He definitely didn't hold back," she said softly, lifting a hand to her head and wincing slightly. Even that hurt.

Terra furrowed his eyebrows slightly, not liking to see Aqua in pain. He hated it. "You need anything?" he asked quietly. If she was hungry or thirsty or cold or anything at all, he could get what she needed for her. It was what he was there for.

"Medicine?" Aqua said softly, though it came out as more of a question. She turned her head to look at Terra, her hand still in her hair. If she couldn't heal through spells, she would need painkillers. Lots of them.

Terra nodded, pushing himself up from his seat. "Be right back," he said. He turned for the door and started out so that he could go down to the kitchen to get some water and some pills.

Aqua watched Terra go before she looked around the room. It was then that she realized she was back in her room, which was cleaned up from her struggle against Xavier. Aqua lowered her hand from her head and set both on the mattress, grunting a little as she tried to push herself up into a sitting position.

Terra walked down the stairs, turning on a living room light so he would be able to see. It was probably one in the morning, so Ven was already asleep in his room. He'd be happy to hear Aqua woke up, though. He entered the kitchen then, flipping on another light. He grabbed an empty glass and started filling it with water before he grabbed a bottle of medicine and then started back for Aqua's room.

Aqua slowly turned around, moving the pillow on her bed so it was against the headboard. She then scooted back to lean against it, wincing at the pain. Regardless, she set her hands in her lap, staring down at them as she waited, ignoring as much of the pain as she could.
