Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua's heart skipped a beat at the feeling of Terra's fingers running over her skin. She'd felt something similar at the ball, when he had his hand on her back... The feeling running through her was strange, since she'd never felt it before. But Terra couldn't possibly be feeling the same way... They were friends, best friends, and had been all their lives.

Terra lifted his gaze to the window as he kept up his gesture, seeing the sunrise. It was beautiful...The promise of a new day. It was a day when hopefully things would start getting better. He knew Aqua would take a while to recover, and he would be sure to be with her every step of the way. He needed to do something to help her.
But...even if Aqua was tense because of her nightmare and her injuries, Terra wasn't. He wasn't uncomfortable, like he just told her. So what did that mean, exactly?

Today, if Aqua was up to it, they could do something simple that would take her mind off of things. Even if it was just movies or a card game or something, he would try to make things as easy for her as he could so she could recover quickly.
Aqua sucked in a breath at a sharp jab of pain in her chest, this one not caused by Terra's motion. In fact, it was the complete opposite; it was from Xavier and his dark tests against her. Aqua knew that her questions would have to remain unanswered; she needed to recover from such brutality.

Terra's motion stopped when he heard Aqua's breath, and he looked away from the window to gaze down at her. Was she alright? He knew she was in pain, but still...He hated seeing it.
Aqua felt Terra's gaze on her, but she didn't say anything. Her eyebrows remained furrowed as she waited for the pain to go away, knowing it would only take a moment; she knew the intervals of it now.

Terra wordlessly started rubbing her arm again, his gaze staying on her. Unfortunately, he couldn't do anything to make the pain go away. But he would do the best he could to make her more comfortable anyway.
Aqua felt the pain begin to fade, and she gradually relaxed in Terra's arms. She was still so tired, not having gotten much sleep due to her nightmare about that torture chamber. Maybe she would fall asleep, right here...

Terra silently continued his gesture, though he did look down at the floor so he wouldn't rudely stare at Aqua. He wondered what was going through her head right now, but he wouldn't ask. He honestly wasn't sure if he wanted to know.
Aqua found herself drifting after a few minutes, Terra's heartbeat and gesture helping with that. But it was also the comfort of being in his arms that worked as well. Aqua's breathing became even as she fell into yet another slumber, though this time she was in Terra's arms.

Terra felt Aqua become less tense when she lost consciousness, and he knew that he couldn't set her down any time soon. He wasn't sure that he wanted to, but if Ven saw this...well, he would be a little weirded out. He'd put her in her bed eventually, but not right away.
Aqua's hold around Terra loosened when sleep took over. Thankfully, she didn't have any nightmares this time; it was a dreamless slumber so far, and she would wonder later if it was because of who was holding her.

Later that day

Terra and Aqua sat on the couch in the living room, watching a comedy movie. They were alone in the house; Sora stopped by earlier to get Ven out and distract him a little so he wasn't so worried about Aqua. It was around dinner time now, though, so he would probably be back soon.

Aqua had her arms crossed over her stomach, also holding the blanket closer to her that was covering half of her torso and her legs. Terra had been so good to her today, getting her food and water whenever she asked. He really didn't need to do that, but Aqua couldn't exactly walk very far due to the damage done when she was attached to that electrical device; her feet hurt and her ankles were badly burned and bruised. She wasn't in good shape, which was why she was glad Ven was currently out of the house; she didn't want him to see her like this.

Ven finally broke away from Sora and his other friends, glad to be going home. He had been kept out of the house all day so he wouldn't worry about Aqua, but that was impossible to stop. She was his best friend; how could he not worry? He opened the front door of the house and entered his home, surprised when he thought he heard a TV on.
Aqua didn't notice the front door open or hear anyone enter, her focus currently on the television. She'd just taken another dose of the painkillers, so she was feeling weak and a little out of it. But the movie was working to distract her, the humorous parts making her smile.

Ven slipped off his shoes once the door was closed behind him, leaving them in the entrance hall as he walked through that room and entered the living room. He was surprised to see his two best friends on the couch, Aqua finally awake in his presence. "Hey," he greeted, happy to see her conscious.
Aqua turned her head at the voice, her blue eyes finding those of her younger best friend. She nodded to him with a weak smile, though she didn't speak. She was afraid to see how he would react when she wasn't exactly herself; she wasn't sure he was completely filled in on what she went through.

Ven walked over across the room, glancing at the TV before he looked back at Aqua. "You feeling any better?" he asked, stopping next to her side of the couch. She didn't look too good, but Terra told him what she went through, so it was understandable.
Aqua's smile fell a little at the question, knowing that the answer wasn't a positive one. "The medicine's helping," she replied quietly, not completely answering the question. What she said was the truth, but once the medication wore off, it wasn't good.

Terra noticed Aqua acting a bit...differently with Ven around, and he tried to figure out why that was. He watched the two of them in silence, forgetting about the movie for a little while.

"When'd you wake up?" Ven asked out of curiosity, failing to notice that Aqua hadn't fully answered his question. If he would have known she was awake, he would have come home and been with her; he was his friend, so he wanted to help her feel better.

"Late this morning," Aqua said softly after a moment of recalling it. She was usually up mid-morning, but things weren't exactly the same. Besides, she woke up in her bed instead of in Terra's lap, so it was good Ven didn't see that. That would have been hard to explain since things were already a little difficult.

...She's not comfortable with Ven seeing her like this, Terra finally realized. She was speaking even more softly than she did with Terra, she was giving short answers, and avoiding Ven's gaze. "Ven, how about some dinner?" he suggested, rising to his feet and motioning towards the kitchen. He had to be hungry, and there, Terra could say Aqua wasn't comfortable with Ven seeing her when she was so vulnerable. He wasn't sure how he would take it, though...

"Uh, sure," Ven said, surprised at Terra's suggestion. He had been in the middle of a conversation with Aqua, but he guessed he could talk to her more later. He started towards the kitchen.

Aqua glanced up from her lap at Terra when he intruded, though she had a feeling she knew why he was doing it. She expressed her gratitude through her gaze, though she was sad that she had to be this way with Ven. He was such a happy person; Aqua didn't want her condition bringing him down.
