Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra glanced back at Aqua, seeing that his suspicions were right by her grateful gaze. That unfortunately meant he'd have to talk to Ven, but oh well. Right now, he needed to help Aqua in any way he could. He went into the kitchen after his friend, seeing him already at the fridge.

"Hey, what was that about?" Ven asked, figuring Aqua couldn't hear them in the kitchen. And the movie was on too; she probably wasn't eavesdropping. "I was trying to talk to her." He hadn't talked to her since before she was taken.

Aqua let her eyes find the television again and she tried to distract herself. She carefully pulled her legs up on the couch, curling them out to her side as she pulled the blanket up a little more to cover them. Sorry, Ven.

"I know," Terra said calmly. "But Ven...She doesn't want to talk about any of that." He walked over to the counter, setting a hand on it as he saw Ven shut the fridge and look at him. "Didn't you notice how she was uncomfortable?"

"...No," Ventus said, shaking his head faintly. He hadn't noticed that; he had been excited to see her conscious. He hadn't really been paying attention to her facial expression or mannerisms during the conversation...

"Ven...the conversation wasn't the only thing she was uncomfortable with," Terra continued. "She doesn't really...feel up to having many conversations right now. Or seeing people."

Aqua wanted to spend time with him as well, she really did. But...it just wasn't a good decision at the moment; she was still so vulnerable and scared. Ven had never seen her that way before, and she became even more sad at that thought of him witnessing it for the first time. He wouldn't react well, and the last thing she wanted was any stress on his shoulders. But...what about Terra?

Ven furrowed his eyebrows slightly, getting an odd vibe from Terra. He was being indirect with this..."You mean she doesn't feel up to seeing me," he said. Terra wasn't fooling him; he knew that was what he meant.

"Ventus..." Terra tried without thought, cursing himself for having not worded that better. He supposed he did mean that, but Aqua had her reasons for not seeing Ven right now. He opened his mouth, starting to explain. "She--"

"What makes you so special that you can spend time with her but I can't?" Ven snapped, stressed and worried over his best friend. "You haven't left her since everything that happened, and I don't want to either. She's my best friend!"

Terra stepped forward a few steps, moving to set a hand on Ven's shoulder. "I know you want to be with her, Ven," he said calmly, though Ven angrily shrugged his hand off his shoulder. "But she's uncomfortable with you seeing her when she's shaken up by everything."

Aqua didn't get to think about it, blinking when she thought she heard Ven. Was he...angry? She couldn't really tell with the movie going, but she suspected it.

"I don't understand!" Ven said in anger, taking a step back. Aqua shouldn't have been uncomfortable with him; he grew up with her. He wanted what was best for her, and he wanted to support her. Why was Terra acting like this? "Why isn't she uncomfortable with you, then?"

"You're different than I am, Ven," Terra said, keeping himself calm so his friend would hopefully calm down as well. "You're younger. You haven't seen the terrible things I have. She's trying to protect you from this." Ven shook his head in anger, turning around and leaving the kitchen. "Ven!"

Ven ignored his older best friend, hands in fists as he reentered the living room and then walked for the front of the house. Terra and Aqua just didn't get it, did they? He was supposed to protect her after what happened, not the other way around!

Aqua turned her head when she heard Ven's footsteps, and she sat up straighter. "Ven, wait!" she called, though her chest immediately tightened with pain after the words left her lips. She brought a hand to her heart, taking in a quick breath. He had to listen...

Ven walked out of the room, slipping on his sneakers and then leaving the house. He was so upset...Why couldn't Terra and Aqua see how badly he wanted to help? This was so unfair!
Aqua heard Ven leave and she turned her head to face forward again. She stared down at her lap, her hand remaining where it was. Now her heart wasn't only hurting do to Xavier's cruel experiments; it was hurting because of what just happened with Ven.

Terra sighed, lifting a hand to his forehead. Alright, that definitely didn't go well. But he'd been as gentle as he could...Why was Ven being so hardheaded about this? Well, he knew one thing for sure: he'd have to let Ventus cool off for a little while before he approached him.
Aqua lowered her hand back to her lap once the pain disappeared, though some lingered for obvious reasons. Ventus... She would have to talk to him about this, and put him before herself. As the older "sister", that was what she needed to do.

Terra lowered his hand and then started for the living room, stopping and leaning a shoulder against the doorway. He was bothered by what happened, but he had to check to make sure Aqua was still okay before anything else.
Aqua heard approaching footsteps, though they were faint since they weren't exactly close and the movie was still going. But a lighthearted comedy was the least of her concerns. Ventus was now, as well as what this whole thing had done to everyone. What she had done to everyone.

"I'll talk to him when he gets back," Terra said to Aqua, knowing she was concerned about Ven. But once he was calmed down and willing to listen, then Terra would be able to get his point across without Ven getting upset about it. It had to work.
"I'm not sure he'll listen," Aqua replied softly, eyebrows furrowing a little. Ven seemed really upset, and when he was that way, he was quite stubborn. He wouldn't talk to Terra so easily...would he?
  • Author
"He'll be calmer once he cools down a little," Terra said calmly, hoping that he was right. "Don't worry about it." Aqua really couldn't afford to get stressed right now; it would slow her recovery.
Aqua released a small breath. Too late, she thought sadly. Ven was like family; she couldn't just not worry about him. But there was so much on her plate right now...

Terra turned in the doorway, his back against the inside of the post as he lifted his hand and set it on his forehead. He knew what Aqua was thinking; she was already worrying. He wished Ven wouldn't be so stubborn and see how he was negatively affecting her right now.
"...I should be the one to talk to him, Terra," Aqua said, turning her head a little to look at him. She was the reason he was so upset... It was her fault.
  • Author
Terra took his hand away from his forehead and turned to look at Aqua, though he immediately shook his head. "No, you should be focusing on your recovery," he said. "I'll take care of Ven." He was the one who upset him in the first place, anyway.
"But it's my fault..." Aqua said softly, her expression showing her sadness. Her best friend was mad because she wasn't wanting him to see her like this. She needed to talk to him about it.

Terra shook his head again, starting over to the couch. He set a hand on Aqua's shoulder, his eyes on her. "No, it's mine," he said. "I said something stupid." He wasn't sure if that was true or not, but he had to help Aqua feel better somehow. The health of her heart depended on it.
Aqua felt warmth from Terra's hand, though her eyes stayed on his. She was curious as to what he said that was so "stupid", but she wasn't sure she should question it aloud. It obviously had something to do with her. But... "What happened?" she asked. She heard Ven raise his voice.

"It was nothing," Terra said, squeezing Aqua's shoulder lightly. He would protect her from worrying by not giving her the full details of the conversation, since they were speaking about her. "Don't worry. Ven'll come around to realize that soon enough." He'd see what a pointless fight it was.
