Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua lowered her gaze, staring down at the couch for a moment. "...Alright," she said with a small nod. She would try her hardest not to be so concerned, but with Ven it was difficult.

Terra glanced back at the kitchen, a thought coming to mind. "While I'm up, you want anything?" he asked, trying to get the conversation away from Ven so she wouldn't worry so much.
Aqua shook her head, glancing back up at Terra. She was okay for now. All she wanted was to relax and recover as fast as possible.

"Okay," Terra responded with a faint nod. "I'll be right back." He turned and started for the kitchen, actually hungry. He hadn't just meant to distract Ven; he had meant to get some food.
Aqua watched Terra go for a moment before she softly sighed, looking at the television. Maybe Terra was right... Maybe she really needed to just focus on herself and get better.

Terra made a sandwich and grabbed a glass of water, though he was distracted and worried over both his friends. He knew Ven would be back before morning, but still, he didn't like how he walked off from the fight. But following him would be pointless and it would make Aqua worry. He'd have to talk to him again when Aqua was asleep and unaware of what was going on.
Aqua let her mind get wrapped up in the comedy, though she barely smiled during it. Not only was she distraught, but the painkillers were affecting her, making her feel tired. She would probably have to go to bed soon.

Terra came back into the room and finished his sandwich in a short time, but glancing over at Aqua a little while later, he noticed how she appeared to be dozing off. He wondered if she would fall asleep on him or ask to be taken upstairs. Either way, she'd be getting the rest she so desperately needed.
Aqua felt her eyes droop and she knew enough was enough; she'd been doing this for the past half hour. "Terra," she said quietly, turning her tired gaze to him as she lightly leaned against him, like she had been since her drowsiness got worse. "I hate to ask this of you, but...can you help me to my room, please?" It was hard enough walking. Going up the stairs was just as difficult.

Terra looked down at Aqua, nodding slightly. "No problem," he said, meaning it. He wanted to help out wherever he could. His arm was already on the couch behind Aqua, so he lowered it to her shoulders and then moved his other arms to go under her legs so he could carry her.
Aqua moved the blanket so it was no longer on top of her, feeling Terra's arms under her legs and around her shoulders. She appreciated him being so kind and helping her out. She wasn't sure what she would do without him.

Terra easily lifted Aqua, strong enough to handle a person much heavier than her. He kept a secure hold on her and started for the stairs, figuring he'd come back down to turn off the TV once she was asleep.
Aqua's arms wound loosely around Terra's neck, her head turned to watch where he was going. She stayed silent, nothing to be said at the moment. She was too tired to really talk anyway.

It only took Terra a minute to go up the stairs and in the hall a little before he reached Aqua's room. He turned in, careful not to let her hit her head, and then went for the bed. He bent down beside it and started loosening his hold on her so she could lay down and sleep.
Aqua let her arms slide down from Terra's shoulder when she felt the mattress beneath her. "Thank you," she said, looking up at Terra while he was close. She was going to keep to her word from the night before; she had a debt to pay toward him for all he was doing to help her.

Terra pulled back his arms, his hand running over Aqua's back as he stood upright and looked down at her. "It's what I'm here for," he replied softly, a small smile on his lips.
Aqua felt herself smile a little, but then she tore her eyes away from Terra's to focus on getting under the covers. She situated herself and let her head find the pillow, rolling on her side as her eyes found Terra again. He didn't have to stay; he'd done enough for today.

Terra glanced up at the window, seeing sunlight pouring in through it. He wordlessly stepped past Aqua's bed and walked over to it, pulling the shade and making the room darker so that she could sleep more easily.
Aqua looked at Terra for one last moment before closing her eyes. He knew how she felt about him staying, so she would let him make his own choice. He was older than her after all, so he could decide for himself.

Terra knew Aqua didn't feel like she needed him with her all time time, and right now, it seemed like it would be awkward if he stuck around and waited for her to fall asleep. "Goodnight," he said softly, starting for the door.
"Goodnight, Terra," Aqua called, keeping her eyes closed. She had a feeling he would be back later, and that was okay; just as long as he didn't miss out on sleep because of her.

Terra glanced over his shoulder when he heard Aqua's response, and seeing that she was situated, he softly pulled the door shut and made his exit. He'd let her fall asleep without him staring at her.

A few days later...

Aqua turned over in her bed, a soft breath leaving her as she exhaled through her nose, now lying on her side. The last few days had been slow and uneventful, but that was to be expected when she was recovering from what happened in Vexen's lab. The pain had gradually lessened, and she was just as relieved as her friends to realize it. But she was still weak and had a few sharp pains here and there, but it was better than before, thank goodness.

Terra was currently asleep in Aqua's room, having spent the last few nights there because of nightmares. Instead of sitting in his chair, though, he was leaning against the side of her bed, moonlight pouring onto his figure. He had sat over there and tried reading a book for a little while, but he fell asleep in the middle of it with the book still lowered in his hand. He slept peacefully, his neck turned so the side of his face rested on the top of Aqua's mattress. He was tired after the past few days of taking care of Aqua and making things right with Ven. Thankfully, things really were alright with his younger best friend now.
Aqua furrowed her eyebrows slightly, her hand by Terra's head as she started to wake up. It wasn't necessarily a nightmare, though she did sense Darkness creeping into her dream. The last few night had been full of those nightmares, though, and thankfully Terra was here to calm her down, whether it was him shushing her to sleep or him giving her hugs to soothe her. They all worked wonders.
