Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua let her head find the pillow again, though she didn't switch positions. She gazed at Terra for another moment in silence, the moonlight softening his well-defined features. He was handsome, she had to admit. Aqua's smile softened as she closed her eyes, relaxing now that some weight was off her chest. It was time to rest now.

She won't find out, Terra decided. At least, not for a little while. They had to focus on her recovery, even if this was a burden Terra now had to carry. Should he treat her differently? Be closer, like she wanted? Or would she realize that he knew how she felt? Well, he knew one thing for sure: he would be awake for a while thinking about it. Hopefully Aqua got some more rest, but he wouldn't.
The silence and Terra's breathing beside her carried Aqua back into slumber, the process only taking a few minutes. After her confession, she dreamed of only one person that night, and it would be anyone's lucky guess as to who it was.

Later that week

Terra just finished cleaning the dishes from all of their meals, since he, Ven, and Aqua all ate together. She was starting to get better, thank goodness. And she still didn't know that he overheard her talking to him a few nights ago. Everything was going well. Terra went upstairs to go check on Aqua and drop off the glass of water he held in his hand, in case she woke up and was thirsty at some point. She went right to bed after dinner, so he hoped she was feeling alright.

Aqua was starting to doze off as she slept in her room, her back to the table beside her bed, the girl curled up on one side. The last few days had been pretty good, and she was actually quite relieved Terra didn't really act any different around her since the night she "confessed" her feelings. He wasn't awake anyway, so she had nothing to worry about.

Terra softly opened Aqua's door, seeing that her back was turned towards him. He smiled weakly at her sleeping form and then walked over, lightly setting the glass of water on the endtable. Closer up, he could see that she was asleep. Well, he wouldn't disturb her. He silently sat down by her bedside, and gazed at her for a few moments, unaware that Ven let a guest into the house downstairs.

Aqua sensed a presence nearby, but she didn't open her eyes or move. She had a feeling she knew who it was, so she would let him watch over her, like he had done the last week. Terra... He was sweet.

Riku started up the stairs, having told Ven he wanted to talk to Terra. The blond told him he was upstairs, so that was where he was headed. He was a little...curious about something.

Terra leaned forward on his seat, hands clasped in front of him. He gazed down at them in thought, wondering if he should try confessing his feelings to Aqua when she was asleep. He did feel pretty pressured by keeping it all to himself.
Riku walked down the hall once he was upstairs, and he peeked into one of the open doors. Lucky for him, it was the right room. "Terra," he called softly, seeing that Aqua appeared to be sleeping.

Terra sat upright at the voice, turning to look towards the door. "Oh, hey," he greeted softly, keeping in mind that Aqua was still asleep right in front of his chair. He hadn't expected to see Riku here.

Aqua's eyebrows furrowed slightly at the familiar voice. Riku? she wondered silently. Why was he here?

Riku glanced from Terra to the girl sleeping before his gaze returned to the older boy. "Um, can we talk?" he asked softly. It would only take a minute or two.

Terra glanced back at Aqua before he looked back to Riku in the doorway. He nodded and silently rose up from his seat, turning and starting towards the door. He wondered what Riku had on his mind, but he'd talk to him.
Riku stepped out of the way of the door, making room for Terra to come through so they could talk. If they did it out in the hall, Aqua could sleep without being disturbed.
  • Author
Terra pulled the door shut half way so the noise wouldn't disturb Aqua's sleep, but he didn't bother shutting it half way. "What's up?" he asked out of curiosity, looking at Riku.
Riku scratched the side of his head. "I could ask you the same thing," he started. He wasn't usually one for getting into people's business, but this was something that couldn't really be ignored.
  • Author
Terra arched a brow in confusion, noticing how Riku genuinely seemed curious about what was up with Terra. But he had no idea what that meant, and he was about to let Riku know. "What do you mean?"

"You and Aqua," Riku answered, unsure of how else to word it. "Something seems...different." At least, that was what he thought. Maybe Terra wouldn't see it that way.

Aqua kept her eyes closed, though she wasn't asleep. She wasn't even dozing off anymore, listening in on what she could hear from Terra and Riku's conversation. It wasn't nice to eavesdrop, but she couldn't help it; they were talking right outside her room.

Terra blinked, not expecting Riku to bring this up. But, he was right, so he'd let him know. "Things are different," he agreed. "Just...this situation, is bringing out different sides in both of us." She was showing vulnerability, and he was being strong for her as well as for himself and Ven. He was carrying her burdens along with his own in a way he never had before, because of his romantic feelings for her.
"I know it's none of my business," Riku replied, glancing down at the ground. But then he lifted his eyes to Terra again. "But what do you mean by 'sides'?" He was thinking of one way Terra could have meant, but that was a long shot... Or so he thought.
  • Author
Terra smiled a bit shyly, lowering his gaze to the ground as he spoke. "Well...I know I've had to be a bit more...sensitive, because she needs that kind of support right now." He lifted his gaze to Riku then, continuing. "Not that I have a problem with that. I want to be whatever she needs me to be."

Aqua's heart skipped a beat, and she couldn't help but open her eyes. Terra... What did he mean by that? Could he see through her and recognize her true feelings?

Riku arched an eyebrow a little. That was actually kind of Terra, but there was a small problem. "Terra, you're treating Aqua like Sora would treat Kairi," he pointed out. "Kairi is Sora's girlfriend..."

  • Author
Terra looked down towards the ground in thought, realizing that Riku was absolutely right with his observation. "Riku, you know Aqua and I aren't in a relationship," he said before he lifted his gaze back to his friend. "But you're right. I am treating her like she is something more than a best friend because, to me, she is." He wanted a relationship with her.

Aqua's eyes widened as she stared down at her mattress, her back to the door. Terra returned her feelings? He...liked her, as more than a friend? She was tense with surprise, not sure what to think of hearing his confession.

Riku's eyes widened slightly. "You mean..." he started, but then trailed off. Terra liked Aqua? He didn't expect the guy to say it outright...

  • Author
Terra smiled sheepishly, able to tell that Riku was shocked. "Yeah, he confirmed. I've actually had feelings for her for a while now," he said a bit shyly. "I guess...this situation just helps me show how much I care a little better."

So, the night you held me... You really were comfortable, Aqua thought silently, exhaling a soft breath. Wow... This was so surprising; she thought she was the only one who felt this way.

"Oh...Well, good for you," Riku said with a small nod. He wasn't sure how Aqua felt about the situation, but from what he'd seen of her recently, she looked comfortable with it. Maybe something would happen there.
