Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua approached the front door and opened it, stepping inside the air-conditioned house. She looked around as she shut the door, not seeing Terra anywhere, though she did accidentally step on his towel. Why was it here, though? Where was he?

Terra didn't hear the door open downstairs, some sweat starting to form on his forehead. At the same time, though, he wasn't hot. He was cold. I'm not just tired, he finally thought. I'm sick. Really sick.
Aqua picked up Terra's towel from the floor and took off her own from her waist, where she set both on the back of the couch. She didn't see him lying there, obviously, so she could only check the kitchen. "Terra?" she called gently, peeking into the room. But it was empty...

Terra shut his eyes, though he did lift a hand and wipe at his forehead. This wasn't good...He was still needed to take care of Aqua. He couldn't get sick at an awful time like this.
Aqua knew then that Terra could only be upstairs in his room, so she wordlessly started for the stairs. She climbed them, noticing that the house was completely silent. If Terra was here, what was he doing? The girl walked through the hall the same distance she would to her room, but she turned in the opposite direction, stopping in the doorway to Terra's. Aqua's eyes were stuck on him. Terra...

Terra's hand was still on the pillow, his eyes also shut. His senses weren't very good because of how terrible he felt, so he didn't notice Aqua standing in the doorway even if his face was turned in that direction.
Aqua lowered her gaze for a moment, seeing her tank top that was over her swimsuit top, as well as her bare feet. Should she leave him be? No, he didn't look good, and she wanted to help any way she could. Aqua started forward in silence, approaching Terra's bedside.

Terra finally sensed another presence, and he opened his eyes a crack to see Aqua in the room. He didn't open them any further, though he was surprised to see her there. Wasn't she supposed to be at the beach with the others?
Aqua bent down, putting her hands on her knees as she looked at him. "Terra," she said softly, her voice holding the concern that matched the look in her eyes. He looked awful.

Terra hummed softly, that being the only reaction that he could muster. His eyes were stuck on Aqua's, though he could tell that she wasn't looking at him like she normally did. Something was off.
"You look...terrible," Aqua said quietly, not meaning to be so blunt about it. But, Terra did. He looked sick. She lifted her hand from her knee, lightly placing it on his forehead to feel his temperature.

I feel terrible, Terra wanted to say, though he didn't bother verbalizing that. He shut his eyes and felt Aqua's hand against his forehead, his heart telling him that he wanted her closer. He always felt better when she was near.
Terra's forehead was clammy and damp with sweat, though his skin was hot. That worried Aqua, and she moved her hand to his cheek only to feel the same temperature. He was sick, wasn't he?

Terra exhaled a soft breath through his nose, Aqua's hand feeling nice against his cheek. This illness was striking quickly, and he could already feel like it was affecting his thoughts. He felt...funny.
"I'm going to get you a cold washcloth, okay?" Aqua said, taking her hand back from Terra's cheek. She didn't wait for a response, though, turning around to head to the bathroom that was upstairs. She remembered what he'd done to take care of her; it was her turn to take care of him.

Terra opened his eyes for a second in time to see Aqua go, and he couldn't have protested even if he wanted to. He quietly rolled over onto his side but still looking towards the door.
Aqua walked into the bathroom and reached into the closet, grabbing a washcloth to run it under the water. She made sure it was cold and damp before squeezing excess water out of it. She folded it and then started out of the bathroom, back to Terra's room.

I just want to pass out, Terra thought, though his consciousness remained with him. He didn't want to be awake right now, at all. He just wanted to let go and wake up to find out that this illness was totally gone.
Aqua walked back into Terra's room and wordlessly approached his bed. She noticed there was enough room for her on Terra's bed, and she hoped he wouldn't mind if she sat there, because she did just that. Aqua positioned herself so she was facing Terra, her feet on the floor as she looked down at him. She lifted the washcloth and gently placed it against his skin on his forehead, hoping it would help bring down his fever.

Terra peeked his eyes open again for another brief moment before he shut them, thinking and feeling contradicting things. He didn't want Aqua to take care of him because she wasn't fully healthy herself, but at the same time, this felt really good.
"Just relax," Aqua suggested softly, her eyes soft as she gazed at Terra. He was so vulnerable, his tough exterior gone for the moment. She at least saw it that way, and it was different to see it so clearly.
  • Author
No point fighting it now, Terra thought, hearing Aqua's gentle words. She was going to take care of him whether he liked it or not, and since he sort of did, he would focus on those feelings. She was so close...so gentle...
Aqua moved the rag a little bit, dabbing at Terra's temple and cheek as she tried to cool him off more. How did he get so ill? Was it because of her? Because he was always on his feet and taking care of her?
  • Author
Terra stayed still with Aqua's gesture, wishing that she was closer than she was right now. He found himself craving the kind of care that girlfriends and boyfriends provided for each other when they were sick. The kind of care he gave her.
Please don't let that be it, Aqua thought sadly. She didn't want Terra to be ill because of her neediness. But...maybe she hadn't needed to be so selfish with him. He was a human being, and needed to care for himself as well. Aqua pressed her lips together guiltily, moving the rag back up to Terra's forehead in silence.
