Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Now that he was downstairs, Terra didn't see a point in going back to his bed. And he didn't have the strength to do that, anyway, since he felt like he could pass out again. He had done a lot of that the past few days. He grunted slightly and forced himself to lay down on his side on the couch, his head resting on the armrest.
It took a little bit, but Aqua finally found her home half a block away. She'd seen a few of her friends in town, but hadn't bothered them with saying hello; they were busy, and she had her own stuff to do. Holding a few bags in her hands, she approached the house, which was just up ahead.

Terra had his eyes shut by this point, his breathing soft as he was nearly asleep. Recently he found that sleep was the only way to escape reality, and that was all he wanted to do lately. At least in his dreams, Aqua was with him.
Aqua switched her bags over to one hand and reached for the doorknob, pushing the door open in silence. She walked in and shut it behind her, shifting her bags of supplies into both hands and starting for the kitchen.

Terra thought he heard the door open and close softly, and though it woke him up a little bit, he kept his eyes shut. He knew he came down to talk to Aqua, but he was tired and feeling terrible, so all he wanted to do now was sleep.
Aqua glanced over at the living room absently as she passed, though she quickly stepped back when she thought she caught sight of somone. Her eyes widened slightly when she saw that it was Terra, and she put her bags on the floor before hurrying over toward him. "Terra?" she said, coming around the couch and kneeling down in front of him. What was he doing down here?

Terra opened his eyes, blinking once to clear things up so he could see Aqua in front of him. "Hi," he greeted softly, not really knowing what else to say. She must have just gotten back from the market; he had heard the plastic bags when she was in the room.
"What are you doing out of bed?" Aqua asked, though her voice didn't only hold surprise; it held strictness as well. Terra needed to be resting, and now he was moving around? Even if he was lying down on the couch, it didn't matter. He needed to be in bed.

"I wanted to talk to you," Terra said softly, starting to wake himself up a bit more. He hadn't seen her much in the past few days; he missed her. And he wanted to know why he hadn't seen her.
"So you came downstairs?" Aqua asked in disbelief, putting on her motherly role as she often did when one of her boys was like this. "You should have just called for me." She would have come up...even if she hadn't lately.
  • Author
"...I didn't think of that," Terra said after a moment of thought. He honestly hadn't thought of calling to Aqua at all, and besides, he thought he would have been alright enough to come downstairs. He made it down, but still, he wasn't as good as he wanted to be.
Aqua's eyes softened at the look on Terra's face, seeing the vulnerability there. He was always so strong, but she guessed that wore off with the way he was now. "Terra..." she said softly, sighing a little. What was he thinking?
  • Author
"Sorry," Terra said, lifting a hand and scratching his head a little as he looked away from Aqua. He thought she said his name like that because she was frustrated with him or disappointed in him some way.
"Mm," Aqua hummed softly, her eyes resting on Terra even if he looked away. "Well, now that I'm here, what did you need?" He said he wanted to talk, so since she was with him, it was best to do it now.

Terra lowered his hand, his eyes shyly going back up to Aqua's. "I just...haven't seen you, the past few days. I wanted to know how you were doing." That was one of the many things that he had been wondering. Was she recovering alright without him by her side?
"I'm alright," Aqua said with a small nod. "I've been keeping myself on my feet." She made sure not to mope around, since that would only make her feel sluggish and weak. She went on runs every morning to get the strength back that she lost while in recovery.

Terra nodded slightly, though he was still concerned. She wasn't pushing herself too hard, was she? He remembered coming back from the beach a few days ago with her, when she nearly fainted. He hoped she was smart enough not to push her luck like that again.
Aqua saw the way Terra was looking at her, and she tilted her head slightly as she gazed back. "How're you feeling?" she asked softly. He didn't look much better than that first day...
  • Author
"I'm alright," Terra said quietly, though he was lying. He felt terrible, but at least he knew his fever wasn't as high as it had been the day this illness struck. He could think clearly for once.
Aqua furrowed her eyebrows slightly, leaning a little closer to Terra as she tried looking deeper into his eyes. She didn't believe him. He'd been in terrible shape the last few days.
  • Author
Terra was surprised at how Aqua tried to gaze more deeply into his eyes, and he knew that she didn't believe his lie. He diverted his gaze wordless, caught telling his fib.
"Terra..." Aqua said, bringing her hands up to the edge of the couch cushion. "There's a time for being strong and there's a time to accept help. Now isn't the time to try hiding your vulnerability." He needed to accept help from others and stop lying about his well-being. He wasn't in good shape.
  • Author
Terra looked back up at Aqua, surprised about her boldness. But he could never willingly show vulnerability; he was too strong for that. "I'm fine," he insisted. At least, he would be, once this illness was gone.
Aqua frowned slightly, not liking that he was so insistent that he was okay. He wasn't; she could clearly see it. She didn't really like that Terra was lying to her.
  • Author
Terra diverted his gaze again, intimidated by how Aqua was staring at him. "It's just a cold," he said softly. A really, really bad cold. He'd get over it eventually.
