Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua hacked and slashed through the Heartless, bringing her spells into the mix as well. She casted Blizzaga on a group of them before dashing toward them, striking them as many times as she could. She was happy to see them disappear once they were unfrozen, their health depleted and the enemies defeated. However, there was still more to take care of. Aqua whirled around, casting Thundaga over the entire area they were on, defeating Heartless and Unversed alike.

Terra released Xehanort's ankle, at the same time rolling in the opposite direction and rising to his feet. The Keyblade Master did the same, only to the other side. When they were both upright and staring at each other, they both knew what was to come. They ran towards each other at the same time, and their fight started up again.
Vanitas shot fiery orbs toward Ventus's location, their fight having gone along for a while now. His energy was still high, and it clearly showed in Ventus's speed as well; he wasn't going down without a fight. It won't be as easy as the last time, Vanitas recognized, running toward the Keyblade Warrior after his fireballs were launched.

Ventus rolled out of the way of the fiery orbs, one of them clipping him and making him wince in pain. He failed to notice Vanitas coming at him, though he should have suspected a move like that. He had been fighting Vanitas on his own for a while now, every other person on the battlefield distracted by other foes.
"Surrender!" Vanitas hollered, at the same time jumping a little and swinging his blade in a downward arch at Ventus. The Darkness would triumph. Couldn't he see that?

Ven cried out, feeling Vanitas's Keyblade impact him. How could he have not seen that coming?! He and Vanitas had been pretty equal in battle so far, but now Ven's fatigue from earlier was catching up with him again, and at the worst time.
Vanitas didn't ease up, that cry of pain acting as motivation. He spun around with a cry, going for Ventus again. The battle was turning in his favor, and he wasn't about to stop now.

Ven lifted his Keyblade, managing to barely block Vanitas's attack. He grunted, trying to find the strength within himself to win this battle. He couldn't let Vanitas win...
"Why are you fighting back?" Vanitas questioned darkly, staring at Ventus with his gold eyes. "You have the ability to create the most powerful weapon of all. Let me join you, and we can complete the X-blade!"

"No!" Ventus cried firmly. That kind of power was something that nobody should have ever possessed, let alone Xehanort and Vanitas. He pulled back his Keyblade and swung it at Vanitas with all his might, hoping to end the fight right here. But if he defeated him...wouldn't Vanitas just get his way?
Vanitas grunted, stumbling back a few steps due to the force behind Ventus's swing. When he caught his footing, he looked up at his foe. After recovering from his pain, he smirked at Ventus. "I see I'm going to have to resort to old tactics," he said, his tone slimy with darkness. Vanitas summoned away his Keyblade and instead called to his own breed of creatures. Unversed.

Ven's eyes widened, seeing creatures rise up out of the ground and go for him like they had eleven years ago. He swung at one of them and knocked them back, but the others surrounded him and forced him to release his Keyblade while holding him in a firm, unbreakable grasp. No!
Vanitas only watched from his place a few yards away, a small smile on his lips. "It seems that my body is about to perish, and you know what that means," he said. "History has been bound to repeat itself these last eleven years, Ventus. Your rest hasn't kept you from your destiny!" The dark-haired boy started walking toward Ventus then, looking forward to what came next.

"No! Not again!" Ventus cried, squirming in the grasp of the Unversed as he stared at Vanitas with wide eyes. He couldn't do this! If he did, then he would lose his heart once again!

Terra turned at the cries, his eyes finding the scene with his best friend and Vanitas. He jumped over a Heartless to avoid fighting it in battle, rushing over with as much speed as he could. When he was a few steps away from Vanitas, he pulled back his blade and swung it with all his might, aware that if his attack worked, Vanitas would be sent over the edge of the cliff.

Vanitas had almost reached Ventus when he caught movement out of the corner of his eye, but it was too late; the only reaction he had was a simple turn of his head, recognizing that it was Terra. It was then that the dark side of Ventus cried out in pain, but that cry eventually turned into a scream of terror, the boy feeling himself go over the edge of the cliff and falling toward the ground that awaited him down below.

Ventus's eyes remained large, seeing what just occurred steps in front of him. His best friend...He saved him. "Terra," he said in relief, swallowing back the emotions of fear and panic that had risen up inside of him.

Terra turned at the voice, immediately taking the remaining steps over to his friend. He dropped his Keyblade and used his hands to pry the Unversed off of Ventus, the man throwing them off the side of the cliff as well as he worked to free his friend. When it was complete and Ven was free, he noticed his friend fall forward a little in weakness, but his hands on Ven's shoulders kept him upright. Ven...You're alright.

Riku brought his Keyblade up to swing at one of the Unversed, but it suddenly disappeared right in front of him. What? he thought in surprise, heavily breathing in the fresh air that was no available to him, the bottom of his mask being broken off. What was giong on?

"Vanitas!" Xehanort roared, having seen the boy fall off the side of the cliff. He felt worry and fear for the first time in battle, not knowing what he could do without the help of the Unversed and his dark assistant.

Do it! Sora's heart told him at that moment. He didn't know what that was supposed to mean, but he followed his heart and pulled back his Keyblade and pointed it at Xehanort, the tip glowing before a thin beam of Light shot for Xehanort's unprotected back.

Xehanort gasped in surprise, having not expected an attack like that. He had never felt this way before...when the Light impacted him. It almost felt like his heart was leaving him. No, it can't be! he thought, though he then lost his grip on the Keyblade and fell forward in a faint, his heart floating up into the air.

Roxas watched what was happening in awe, amazed at what was taking place here. After the Unversed vanished, he had turned around to see what was going on. And now, Xehanort's heart was leaving him.

No... Terra! Aqua thought amongst seeing what was happening. Xehanort's heart may have left him, but what about her best friend?

A gasp left Ven's lips, the boy seeing Terra's armor crumble in front of him. "Terra!" he cried, seeing the pieces fall to the ground in front of him, the hands coming off his shoulders. But then he saw some light out of the corner of his eye, and he turned to look at Xehanort's fallen body.

Terra's spirit transferred hosts naturally, his body now free for him to inhabit again. Upon leaving the armor, he returned to his body, the difference showing when the gray hair faded into his normal brunet color.

Sora lowered his Keyblade, seeing the change in Xehanort's body. Something was clearly happening, but he didn't know what. But, for once, he actually felt like something good was happening here.

Aqua gasped, running forward immediately after Terra's armor crumbled and she saw the change in Xehanort's appearance. But upon getting closer, she saw that it wasn't Xehanort at all. She stopped next to her friend's body, also next to Ven, kneeling down beside him. "Terra..." she said softly. Was it really him?

Ven found himself on his knees by Terra's body, his eyes bright with concern for his best friend. Terra...Is it really you?

Terra winced lightly, his hands curling slightly on the ground as he gained consciousness. He set his hands on the ground in front of him and managed to push himself up, the man feeling affected by what just happened. But he had his body back, so he didn't care about what weakness he felt now.

Sora looked away from the trio when he saw another noise, a startled grunt leaving him when he saw darkness swirling around the heart that had left Terra's body. He saw Xehanort take form, only as an elderly man this time.

Xehanort grunted, finding himself falling a foot from the sky and landing on one of his knees. He exhaled a breath in weakness, recognizing that he was back in his own body now. He felt enraged at that, fury swelling inside of him. How is this possible?!

Aqua lifted a hand and set it on her Terra's shoulder. He...he was back, in his own body! He was okay!

Riku looked from the newly-recognizable Terra to old man. That was Master Xehanort. The silver-haired teen pulled back his blade in preparation, cautious.

Xehanort saw Riku and Sora both glaring at him, the two of them looking ready for battle. But he couldn't fight all these Keyblade wielders now, especially not in this old body. "I will return," he assured them before a portal appeared, encasing him and taking him to another world.

Sora grunted in surprise, instinctively reaching out a hand when Xehanort vanished. He couldn't believe it...He got away. He felt anger and frustration at that, though he tried not to let it show on the surface fully.

Terra looked over at Aqua and Ven beside him, seeing their faces in new light now that he wasn't looking through a tinted mask. He couldn't help but smile weakly at them, glad to be back in his real body.

Aqua breathed a sigh of relief, a smile forming on her face. "Terra..." she said softly. He was back... Their best friend was back.

Roxas watched Xehanort get away, not at all comfortable with his last words. Regardless, his blue eyes darted to Aqua and Terra, and the boy who looked strangely identical to him.
