Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra smiled shyly, but happily, as he looked down at his girlfriend. "Goodnight, Aqua," he responded. He hadn't expected her to do that, but...it was good. Better than good--great.
Aqua's smile softened some and she let her hands slide down from Terra's shoulders. She let her eyes linger on him before she turned away, starting toward the stairs. It was time to rest after such a wonderful night.

Terra followed Aqua with his eyes, figuring that he would get a quick drink before he went to bed himself. Today had been great except for that thing with Ven, but he would sort that out in the morning. Nothing could take away the happiness he had because of tonight.
Aqua got up to her room, briefly glancing at Ven's door when she was in the hallway. There was nothing but silence, so she supposed he was asleep. She went into her room anyway and changed into more comfortable clothes, then crawling into bed to sleep the rest of the night away.

Terra went upstairs after a few minutes, turning off the lights downstairs before he went to his bedroom. He changed into his sleepwear and then got into bed, finding comfort immediately. Today was great, but hopefully tomorrow would be even better.
Aqua fell asleep in no time, her body and mind tired from the night's excitement. She was comfortable, knowing that things with Terra were far better than she hoped for. And Ven... She would talk to him with Terra the next day. It was all they could do.

A week later

Namine paused to look at a painting, mesmerized by its beauty. It was opening day for a new art museum that the mayor just opened, and everything inside was incredible. She was sure that her friends were sick of how often she stopped and looked, but she really couldn't help it. Art was her passion, and these paintings, photographs, and statues were fantastic. She had a feeling she would have to come back to the museum and look at it all again someday soon, because there was no way she was going to be satisfied with today's visit because she felt some pressure from her friends not to linger too long at one piece of art.

Roxas stopped next to Namine, his hands in the pockets of his nice jeans. They were all dressed a little better than usual for this thing, since it was the grand opening. He knew of it for a while now, since he entered one of Namine's pieces without telling her. He hoped she would be okay with it. It was such a good picture...

Namine clasped her hands in front of her, tilting her head slightly as she studied the picture. She was dressed in a black skirt and a purple blouse, her hair tied back and curly. She was so excited to be at this place; it made her happy. She heard about an art competition being held a while ago, but she decided not to enter anything, since she didn't have faith that her art was better than anybody else's.
Aqua let her eyes roam the part of the museum they were in, seeing several statues in this area. And these were all made by locals? It was fascinating how much talent was within the islands. Aqua smiled slightly in admiration, in nice black pants and a blue blouse. This was something she hadn't really done before, though there were plenty of structures she witnessed when on her adventure so long ago.

Terra was with Aqua, though Ven wandered off to do some exploring on his own. He, Aqua, and Ven were alright now...sort of. They never really talked things out, but Ven seemed better than before, so Terra didn't pester him.
Roxas turned his head, leaning back a little and looking past Namine to see the rest of the art. He smiled upon seeing the one he'd been looking forward to since they arrived. It wasn't too far away, hanging along the wall. Once Namine saw that, she would be so surprised. He hoped it was a good surprise, though. He knew that she was her harshest critic.

Namine slowly started forward, hands still clasped in front of her as she looked at the wall with more paintings hung on it. She saw a group gathered around one painting up ahead, though, and she noticed the whole time that people were standing around that one piece of art. She was interested in seeing what it was, when she got there.
Roxas stayed close to Namine for multiple reasons. One of the most important was because he loved her and wanted to be by her side always. Another was that he liked seeing how happy she was here, at the museum. But Roxas really couldn't wait to see the look on her face when she saw her own work of art. It would be great.

Namine saw the group by that painting disperse a little, so she decided now was her best chance to take a look. There was some room for her and Roxas, so she went over and she looked at the painting that was so popular. The moment she laid eyes on it, her eyes widened. This was her painting, one she had done in charcoal. She did it of the sunset of the meadow Roxas took her to. What was it doing here?!
Roxas looked from the painting to Namine, whose expression immediately caused him to smile. "Surprise," he said softly, his hands still in his pockets. He'd entered it for her a while ago, after she finished it. She'd been so proud of it, and he knew other people would love it too.

Namine looked over at Roxas, her eyes wide showing shock. "W-what?" she said without thought. How did her painting end up in this beautiful museum? And how was this so popular? This was nothing compared to the other pieces of art!
Roxas chuckled, though he looked back to the painting with a soft smile. "I entered it in the competition for you," he told Namine softly. "I thought others should see your greatness too."

Namine's eyes widened in horror, the girl glancing back at the painting before she looked back to her boyfriend. "Roxas, this doesn't belong in a museum like this!" she said, alarmed but smart enough to keep her voice down so she wouldn't disturb anyone else. "This is...awful, compared to everything else here!"
Roxas shook his head, looking over at Namine. "You're too hard on yourself, Nam," he said softly, remaining composed even if she wasn't. "You did a great job, and clearly those people saw that." He jerked his head behind them, knowing that the group that had surrounded her painting had gone that way. It was proof enough that she was good. Why couldn't she believe that herself?
  • Author
Namine blushed, looking down. Either Roxas was right or those people had been around her picture making fun of it. Oh, she was so nervous to know that it was hanging in a beautiful place lie this! She didn't believe her art belonged in a museum...
Roxas nudged Namine a little with his elbow. "Just you wait," he said with a small smirk. "The judges will see it too." He had a feeling she would get something out of this, whether it was a ribbon or some silly coupon. Either way, it would show her that she was good. Really good.

Namine kept her gaze down, not nearly as certain as Roxas. She really didn't want to look like a fool...She hoped Roxas was right, but she always doubted her artwork like this. Especially now that it was in the public eye.
Roxas lifted his hand closest to Namine from his pocket to her shoulder. "Come on, let's go look at the other pieces," he said with a small smile. Maybe that would get her mind off her own painting.
  • Author
Namine glanced up at the picture and then bit down on her lip, starting forward as Roxas requested. But she wasn't going to enjoy them now that she knew her picture was hanging in this place. This just wasn't right...Her painting didn't belong in a museum as beautiful and professional as this.
