Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine glanced up at the stage, going up a side set of stairs and stopping by the other winner. She couldn't believe she tied for Best in Show. This was a huge deal! She didn't know what to do but smile faintly and look to the mayor, having not expected this at all.

The mayor turned to the two winners, seeing that Benjamin was a little taller than Namine. "Benjamin, Namine," he said to them, nodding politely. "Congratulations on winning Best in Show." He then held out two coupons as well as passes. "As a reward, you both earn a day at the museum to yourselves, as well as a dinner to the nicest restaurant on the islands."

Namine blinked in surprise to the excellent prizes, though she noticed that she and Benjamin would share the day at the museum and the dinner. The museum would be fine because they could give each other space, but dinner would be different. She supposed she would have to introduce herself after the mayor was done speaking, since she didn't want to go to dinner with a stranger. Surely Benjamin felt the same. She reached out and took the prize, politely thanking the mayor.

"Thank you, sir," Benjamin said with a polite smile, taking the pass and coupon from the mayor as he spoke from the podium once more. He thanked everyone for coming to the museum and suggested they check out the rest of the art work if they hadn't already, and then he left the stage, leaving Benjamin and Namine up there alone.

Namine glanced out towards the ground, hearing scattered applause before they separated and did as the mayor requested, going to check out the rest of the artwork. She shyly looked back up at Benjamin, surprised that this all just happened.

Benjamin's grey eyes found the blue ones belonging to the girl beside him, the person who also won. "Well, congratulations," he said with a warm smile. He then offered out his hand. "I'm Benjamin, but you can call me Ben." He had a feeling they would see each other again, so he thought it best she called him by what he preferred.

Namine's shy smile turned into a natural one, Ben's smile one that somehow naturally made her feel more comfortable. "I'm Namine," she said, reaching out a hand and grasping his hand in a shake. "Congratulations to you too, Ben."

Ben lightly shook Namine's hand, his moving slowly. "Thanks," he said with the same warm smile. She was so polite, and she had the sweetest voice. She definitely deserved the award, he could see that.

Namine smiled softly, withdrawing her hand from the shake after a few moments. "...I'm really curious," she started. "Which piece did you enter?" She thought she saw most of the museum, but she could have missed the work that he entered. She wondered how good it was for him to win best in show.

"I painted something from one of my photos," Ben said with a small nod, stuffing his coupon and pass into his back pocket of his jeans. It was something he was proud of, even more so now that he actually won an award for it.

  • Author
"Oh, you're a photographer?" Namine said, tilting her head in interest. That was pretty cool; she someday hoped to try photography, but she would only do that once she was satisfied with her painting and drawing skills.

"Yup," Ben replied. "Have been for a few years now." He let his grey eyes stay on her blue ones, and he smiled a little. "I think I remember seeing yours... The charcoal piece, right?" He had a keen eye for talent, and he clearly saw it in that piece.

  • Author
"Yeah..." Namine said, shyly glancing in the direction of her picture. It was one of her best works of art, but still, she didn't think that it was worthy of Best in Show.

"Cool," Ben said softly, glancing in the direction of the painting. "That must have taken a lot of time. It's so...detailed." He admired her work. Namine must have spent a while making it.

  • Author
"Yeah, detail is really important to me," Namine said with a faint nod. "That was actually one of my first charcoal pieces. I normally just do sketches with pencil, so it was harder putting in the detail while working with an unusual material, you know?" She had to admit, though, she did do a good job with that charcoal picture. But it still wasn't worthy of this honor.

Ben hummed softly in response, nodding a little. He tore his eyes away from the painting and instead looked to its creator. "So, Namine..." he started, scratching his cheek with a shy smile. "You wanna go grab a bite to eat or something? My treat."

  • Author
Namine smiled shyly, appreciating the sweet offer. "Thanks, but I should get back to my friends," she said, looking out where the audience had been standing and seeing that her friends were looking like they were waiting for her.

"Oh, okay. No problem," Ben said with a small smile. Another time then...he hoped. "I'll, um...see you later then," he continued with a small smile, taking a few steps back to make his leave.

  • Author
"Yeah, um, Ben," Namine said, lifting a hand slightly when a thought came to mind. "When do you want to use the museum pass? It sounds like we have to be here on the same day." She didn't mind when, just as long as it was soon.

"Uh..." Ben looked up at the ceiling briefly in thought, his eyes then finding Namine. "How does Saturday sound, around noon?" That was only a few days away, and he was free. Maybe Namine was too?

  • Author
"Okay, sounds good," Namine said with a small smile and a nod. "See you then." She couldn't wait to see the museum when nobody else was here to rush her from picture to picture. Sure, Ben would be there, but he was an artist, so surely he would understand how she stared at each picture for so long.

"Right," Ben said with a nod and kind smile. "Have a good day, Namine." He took a few more steps back, tearing his eyes from her as he finally turned around and descended the stage, taking his leave. He was already looking forward to Saturday.

  • Author
"Bye, Ben," Namine said with a small wave and a smile, her prize still in her left hand. She didn't have pockets, so she would have to hold onto them for a while. But she didn't mind, looking forward to what the prize related to the museum would provide.
Roxas had his hands by his sides, excluding himself from the conversation between Sora, Riku, and Kairi to look toward the stage. He felt a warm smile grace his lips when he saw Namine up there, the other guy gone.

Namine looked down towards the area where her friends stood, a small smile still on her lips. She turned and walked down the other set of stairs, going towards Roxas and the others.
