A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Terra pushed himself back onto his knees, glancing ahead and knowing that Xehanort got away. But they would track him down another day. Right now, he focused on his friends, all of them being reconnected like this for the first time.

 

Ven couldn't help but chuckle lightly in happiness, seeing his friend's eyes for the first time since their gathering eleven years ago. "You're back!" he said happily, a wide smile spreading on his lips.

Aqua's hand came back from Terra's shoulder, but she lifted her arms and grabbed her helmet. She took it off her head so she could have a better view of her dearly missed friend. Ven's chuckles only brought a few out of her, the girl relieved and elated to see Terra's face again.

Terra felt himself smile calmly, composed as he always was. "Hey you two," he greeted, genuinely happy to see both of them under better circumstances. Finally, he could speak to his best friends again. That was so great!

 

Sora watched the scene from a few yards away, his Keyblade gone by this point and his arms folded across his chest. Even if Xehanort got away, this was a good way to end the battle. Terra, Aqua, and Ventus were all connected again.

Aqua's smile softened and she tilted her head to the side, nodding to her best friend. It was so good to hear his voice again...after all these years.

 

Roxas walked the little space left between him and Sora and Riku, coming to a stop between the two, and a little bit behind them. "...That's them, huh?" he asked quietly. Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. The three lost Keyblade Warriors.

 

Riku nodded once, his helmet still tinting his view of what was going on. After eleven years of being apart, they were all together again. It was bittersweet, considering the circumstances, but he was still happy for them.

Sora nodded softly, a faint smile on his lips at the sight of the three friends. He could tell that Ven was ecstatic, and Terra seemed to be happy as well. He was so glad that the three of them were reunited; they deserved happiness after so much turmoil.

Riku released a small breath, glad that the fighting was over for now. At that, he lifted his hands and took off his helmet, tucking it under his arm. He turned his head to look at his best friend, a soft smile on his lips. "Good to have you back," he said with a slight nod. Riku had been worried sick, and devastated.

Sora turned to look at Riku beside him, his faint smile widening slightly at Riku's words and facial expression. "Glad to be back," he said with a nod. If he hadn't miraculously returned, then Kairi would have been a goner, as well as Roxas and Namine. He still didn't know exactly how it happened, but he was alright with that.

"Hmph," Riku hummed quietly, his smile turning up a little more. His gaze rested on his best friend for another moment before turning to the trio not too far off. Happy ending for everyone, it looked like. That was okay with him, though. Even if it was only peaceful for some time.

Sora turned his head to look at the trio as well, figuring that Riku had said all that he would on that subject. Riku wasn't one to express things too often, but then again, he proved him wrong sometimes. And plus, Sora had missed a lot when he was gone.

However, it only took a few short seconds for Riku's smile to vanish. "...I know how you felt a few years back," he said quietly, thinking of when he took the wrong course in his actions after first escaping from Destiny Islands. It had been hard, without Sora. He had been scared, for the first time in a long time.

"Hm?" Sora hummed automatically, confused as to what Riku was referring to. He turned his head and looked over at him, waiting for him to elaborate.

"When I fell to Darkness," Riku continued then, turning his head a little to look at Sora. "I know how you felt back then, worrying about me. The last couple days have been the same for me." He had been incredibly concerned for Sora's state, and getting his heart back.

Sora lifted a hand, running it over the back of his head as he diverted his gaze to the ground. "...Oh," he said, not really knowing how to respond to what Riku was saying. He hardly expected him to say anything at all about this, but Riku was surprising him today.

"Mm," Riku hummed quietly in response, nodding once. Things were always hard without Sora, and he guessed it was because he was so used to them working as a team. Well, he wouldn't have to worry about that anymore, so that was a relief.

Sora lowered his hand back down to his side, glancing up at Riku before he decided to leave his thought unspoken. He was about to say that he had been scared during that time, but that wouldn't really help the situation. He knew that Riku must have really been worried if he was bringing it up now.

I bet Kairi's happy to see him back, Riku thought, his bright eyes on Aqua, Ven, and Terra reuniting. She had to be relieved to see that Sora was actually himself again, though she probably wasn't in the best shape now, after he had to battle Vanitas on the Islands. Riku hoped she was alright.

"...How long was I...?" Sora didn't bother finishing the question, knowing that Riku would know what he was referring to. How long had he been gone? It didn't seem like too long, but at the same time, he wondered how long he had been "asleep".

"A few days," Riku said without missing a beat, his eyes still on the three people up ahead who were talking amongst themselves. It had felt like forever, but it was the truth; Sora had only been sleeping for about two days, maybe three.

"Mm," Sora hummed, eyebrows furrowing slightly as he looked down at the ground. A few days...it had felt longer than that. It had been so strange, not being himself during that time. He was just glad that his heart found a safe place to rest during that time.

Riku nodded slightly, turning his head to look at Sora. "Kairi took good care of you while we were gone," he said, speaking the truth. He'd never seen the redhead so dedicated in his life, and he was sure that Sora was more grateful to her than Riku was himself.

Sora hummed again, not surprised at that. He sort of remembered it...It was all like a dream to him, but he recalled what happened during that time and how Kairi was almost always with him and staring at him. His eyes softened at the thought, his eyes going to the ground.

Riku's eyes remained on Sora, a weak smile coming to his lips. He was lucky that he had someone like Kairi in his life, and Riku hoped Sora never forgot that. If he did... Well, Riku knew that it wouldn't be good.

"...We should go back," Sora said after a few moments, lifting his eyes and looking at Riku again. He and Roxas hadn't exactly left under the best circumstances, so Kairi and Namine were both probably really worried.

Riku turned his head to look over his shoulder a little at Roxas, seeing if he agreed with that statement. Of course, he wouldn't be surprised at all to see that he agreed; Sora and Roxas were alike in that way as well.

 

Roxas nodded once in silence. He definitely wanted to go back to Namine. She looked so scared before, and he could only imagine how she was now, after all that took place.

 

Riku let his eyes return to Sora and he nodded. He then turned his attention forward, keeping his helmet tucked under his arm as he started to approach Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. They deserved to know what was going on.

Terra caught onto movement out of the corner of his eye, the man turning his head to see the armored figure walking over towards him and his friends. He couldn't help but feel proud, seeing Riku a strong and capable fighter after inheriting his Keyblade so long ago. He had made a good choice with his successor.
