Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Maybe you could bring it Saturday?" Namine suggested. She was definitely interested in seeing the photo that inspired such a beautiful painting. And maybe she could see some of his other photos, too.

"Yeah, I'd love to," Ben said with a small nod. He would be happy to show Namine it then, since it the day was close enough. He'd bring his other stuff too, just in case she wanted to see.

"I'm really excited for Saturday," Namine confessed with a faint smile. "I loved coming here with my friends today, but they just wanted to rush through the museum." Especially Roxas. She loved him, but he didn't have patience for art like she did.

"That's one of the reasons why I came alone," Ben said softly, reaching up to scratch the top of his head of brown hair. "My friends... They're into a different art than I am. They're musicians." He sometimes listened to them play around with their music as he took pictures of them and stuff, but that was all of the work he really did around them.

"I play a bit of music myself," Namine confessed with a faint smile. "But my boyfriend is more into it than I am." Roxas loved guitar and singing, and she did too, but her passion was drawing.

Ben's eyes grew slightly at that news, especially the part about the boyfriend. "You don't say?" he asked smoothly, covering up his surprise. He lowered his arm back down to his side, his eyes on Namine.

  • Author
"Guitar and piano," Namine said with a faint nod. "And singing, but it's not my real passion." Drawing was her favorite thing to do; she could do it all the time and never be tired of it.

"Cool," Ben said with a genuine smile. "If I happen to mention it to my friends, they might wanna play with you guys. Of course...that's if you're up to it." Her boyfriend too, whoever he was.

  • Author
"That'd be cool," Namine said with a faint nod. "But you won't be too bored, will you?" she asked, since he just said how he didn't play music. She wondered if he would be interesting to learn any time.

"Nah." Ben shook his head, smiling a little more. "I'll just take pictures. You know, capture the moment while it's there." He could have some fun with that.

Namine nodded slightly, understanding. "I've always wanted to try photography," she said. "Maybe you can give me some tips." It would be great to get advice from a fellow artist, especially since it was something she didn't know much about.

Ben lifted his eyebrows slightly, but he nodded all the same. "Okay, but only if you promise to lend me a few lessons of your own," he said, tilting his head slightly at the offer. He was interested in guitar, and his friends were a little too impatient to teach him. "Sound fair?"

  • Author
"Yeah, that sounds very fair," Namine said with a faint nod and a smile. They both had things they could teach each other, and she was excited to be "working" with another artist. It would be a lot of fun.

Ben chuckled a little and nodded as well. "Cool," he said in agreement. That was awesome. He was happy he made a new friend, and one that was interested in art, the same kind he was.

  • Author
"You have a guitar, right?" Namine asked. It would be hard to teach him if he couldn't follow along on his own instrument. It would actually be hard to teach in the first place; she never taught anyone guitar before.

"Actually, I do," Ben replied softly, glancing away for a moment as he thought to his past. "I tried playing a few years back, but I stopped when I got sucked into photography." He shrugged with a small smile, his gray orbs finding the blue ones of the blonde in front of him.

  • Author
"Mm," Namine hummed with a faint nod. "I know what you mean. I've been drawing for a while, and I tried music, but nothing could compare to how I feel about drawing and painting." It was what she really cared about.

"Exactly," Ben said with a small nod, agreeing completely. "Music's never really been my thing." It was nice to listen to, but he never got interested in playing it. Not as much as he loved taking pictures, anyway.

  • Author
"Music is just...about words," Namine said, shifting her gaze back to the painting she had been ignoring for a while. "But pictures convey more words than lyrics to a song every could." A picture's worth a thousand words.

Ben tilted his head slightly. "Would...your boyfriend agree with that?" he asked. Namine said he was a musician, like Ben's friends. He knew his friends wouldn't completely agree with that, since they saw things in a different perspective.

  • Author
"No way," Namine said with a faint laugh, though she was a bit sad at the truth. He couldn't view pictures the same way that she did. She wished they could view art the same way since it was so important, but this was how things were.

"...I guess there will always be differences between musicians and artists," Ben said, turning his eyes away from Namine to look at the painting they were still standing in front of. The only common ground he saw was the love of art, but it was the different kinds that separated them.

  • Author
"Different preferences and views, maybe," Namine agreed, keeping her eyes on the painting. "But at least all artists are passionate about something." Roxas was passionate about music, and she was passionate about painting. And Ben, he was passionate about painting. It was the passion that mattered.

"Mm," Ben hummed softly in agreement, nodding a little as well. Namine was right about that. She was really intelligent, and deep. He liked that in a person, especially a girl like her.

  • Author
Namine looked over at Ben, smiling faintly at his agreement. She believed she was right in this case; passion was what attracted people to each other. It showed that they believed they had reason to live because they found something important enough to be passionate about.
