Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Anything in nature, really," Namine said, glancing over at Ben before she looked forward again. "It's funny, though--I drew a lot of waterfalls a few months ago, and they turned out to be some of my better pictures." What were the odds that they would both like waterfalls?

Ben smiled a little. "Cool," he said with a small nod. That was pretty unexpected... They both liked capturing waterfalls in their pictures? That was coincidental.

"Mhm," Namine hummed, nodding faintly and still smiling weakly. She wondered if she should bring some pictures Saturday, since Ben already promised to bring the photo that was connected to the painting that won Best in Show.

"Your stuff's good, Namine. You think I could...see some other stuff sometime?" Ben asked shyly, diverting his gaze to a plant they passed. He would like to see her work. He was sure it was good.

Namine looked over at Ben, actually finding his behavior cute. She chased away that thought, a small smile on her lips. "As long as I can see more of your photos," she said. She would love to see them.

Ben's smile grew a little. "Don't worry, I'll keep my word," he said with a small nod. "I'll bring them on Saturday." He hoped she would bring her stuff too, or he could see it another time if she preferred it that way. It didn't really matter.

Namine hummed, looking at the path again. "I'll bring some of my stuff Saturday," she said. "...But I'm sure my doodles are nearly as good as your photos." If they were anything like that painting, then he was a lot more skilled than she was. She didn't see how she tied him in that competition when he was so much better at art than she was.

"I wouldn't be too sure of that," Ben said, focusing on the path as they took a small turn. "All I do is press a button." Namine actually did the work, and that was pretty amazing.

"I'm sure there's more to photography than that," Namine said with a soft laugh, amused by how he put it so simply. If it was that simple, then photography wouldn't really be the art that it was.

"Yeah, well, I guess there is the whole lighting thing, and timing," Ben admitted with a weak smile. Those were a few things that were important.

"There you go, then," Namine said, smiling faintly because she was right. Photography wasn't as simple as he put it, and she was sure there were even more elements that he wasn't telling her about right now. "Pushing a button isn't all you do...You create art." And she really respected that kind of visual art.

Ben let out a small laugh, short and sweet. "Mm, but I'm not the only one," he said softly. He let his gray eyes find Namine then, a small smile on his face. She created art too.

Namine glanced over at Ben, blushing a little at the compliment. She lowered her gaze to the ground, focusing on her steps. "I try my best," she said simply. Everyone said that her pictures always turned out great, but she couldn't see their beauty most of the time. Still, it was fun to draw. That was why she did it.

"And you do a wonderful job," Ben added lightly, looking forward again. Namine did, that much he knew. He knew good art when he saw it.

  • Author
"Thanks," Namine said softly, though she didn't really agree. She just wasn't confident with her abilities, even if she had been drawing for her entire life. She hoped to gain that confidence someday, but for now, she was unsure about what she would do with art in the future. Was this just a hobby, or could she do art for a living?

"You're welcome." Ben then let his words hang in the air, welcoming silence. The mayor's home was just up ahead, so it would be time for them to part ways in a minute.

Namine glanced over at Ben before she looked back to the path, feeling shy. She had noticed earlier how comfortable she felt with him, which was strange, because they just met earlier that day. But their art connected them in some unexplainable way. She wouldn't complain about that.

Ben slowed his pace when they were near the front of the mayor's house, one of the lights still on; he could tell from the biggest window. "Well, this is where I take off," he said, lowering his gray eyes to Namine again.

Namine slowed to a stop, realizing that she was home. That walk had gone by really quickly. She smiled weakly at the thought, turning to look at Ben. "It was nice meeting you," she said, genuinely meaning it. He was a nice guy.

"Likewise," Ben answered, turning to face Namine more. "I'll see you Saturday, right? Going to the museum alone could be kinda...lonely." He smiled shyly, lifting a hand to the back of his neck. He highly doubted she would ditch, but still...

  • Author
Namine laughed, the boy in front of her sweet and cute. She didn't know how she felt so...attracted to him, when she already had a boyfriend. "I won't ditch," she promised.

"Great," Ben said, his shy smile turning into a grateful one. "I'll see you then." Meanwhile, he would head home, though he was sure the walk wouldn't be quiet; his thoughts would provide plenty of noise.

  • Author
"See ya," Namine said with a faint wave and a smile, looking at Ben for only a second longer before she started up the path to the house. She'd sort out her thoughts later, when she was alone. Right now, she just wanted to put on some cozy clothes and get warm.

Ben watched Namine go, and with a soft smile he started down the path they had been traveling together. Now, he would walk alone, but it was no big deal. He would be home soon enough.

Namine set a hand on the door and turned the knob, feeling that it was unlocked. She wondered if Kairi was still up, or if she was back from her date with Sora. She probably was, since it was pretty late. Namine yawned, stepping inside the house and shutting the door behind her.
