Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas heard the door shut, and he looked toward the doorway that led to the entrance hall from his spot on the couch. Kairi just went upstairs for a few minutes, so he was alone in the living room as he waited for Namine. Was that her?

Namine walked into the living room, though she immediately noticed somebody sitting on the couch. "Roxas?" she said in surprise, stopping a few feet into the room. What was he doing here?
Roxas smiled softly, waving a little. "Hi," he said quietly, the only other sound in the room being the T.V. that was turned on. He guessed Namine just got back from the museum.

Namine blinked, starting forward again and stopping by the side of the couch. "What're you doing here?" she asked curiously. It seemed obvious he was here to see her, but still, she had just seen him a few hours ago. What was up?
Roxas pushed himself up from the couch, turning to face Namine fully. "I know I wasn't much fun at the museum today," he admitted, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. He'd been a jerk for raining down on her parade. "So...I thought I'd make it up to you by celebrating the right way, with you, right now."
  • Author
Namine smiled softly, flattered by Roxas's offer. "But I told you, we don't have to celebrate," she said softly. She said that she just wanted to stay at the museum till closing, and that was what she did.
"Well..." Roxas trailed off, glancing to the side as he lowered his arm back to his side. "It just...didn't feel right, leaving you like that." He left her alone in the museum, and even if she was happy for more time there, he should have been more supportive.

"I didn't think anything of it," Namine assured Roxas softly. In a way, she had actually been glad that he left, because then she could stare at pictures for as long as she wanted. And she hadn't been alone; she had been with somebody else who was just as passionate about the museum as she was. That had been nice.
"Oh..." Roxas let his eyes linger on Namine, and he could tell that she meant it. "That's good, then." At least she wasn't mad; he feared that all day.

Namine hummed, nodding faintly. Perhaps it was a bit sad she hadn't thought anything of it; she had come to expect Roxas would never share her passion of art. That wasn't good, was it? She chased away that thought, knowing she'd think about it later.
"Anyway," Roxas said after a small silence, glancing toward the ground before his blue eyes found Namine again. "You wanna go ahead and celebrate now? I mean, I was thinking the meadow since it's, you know, our place..." He smiled a little. It sounded like a good idea to him, and the fireflies were out. He knew she liked that.

Namine smiled weakly, realizing Roxas wouldn't let her get away without celebrating the award she won. "Honestly, I just want to sleep," she said, her smile turning sad. "It was a long day." But she didn't want to disappoint Roxas, since he obviously wanted to spend time with her.
"Oh, okay then," Roxas answered, trying not to seem disappointed. If Namine was tired, he would just go. He didn't want to be a bother when she was tired.
  • Author
"Sorry," Namine said weakly, able to tell that Roxas was disappointed. But she wouldn't be very good company if they went up to the meadow, since she really was exhausted and already thinking about everything that happened that day.
"It's okay," Roxas assured the girl he loved softly, nodding a little. "I'll let you get some rest." She had a big day, and she needed her sleep. He wouldn't keep her up.
  • Author
Namine nodded slightly, though she wasn't convinced. She had the whole day to do what she wanted; it wasn't fair that she couldn't stay awake to do something Roxas wanted.
Roxas took a few steps forward and put a hand lightly on Namine's shoulder, leaning forward. He planted a gentle kiss on her cheek before pulling back, his face close to hers. "You get some rest," he said softly.

Namine smiled weakly at the sign of affection, her eyes finding Roxas's. "I will," she assured him softly with a faint nod, though she honestly wasn't sure if she would. She couldn't get a certain somebody off her mind, and since it wasn't Roxas, she was a bit worried.
Roxas squeezed Namine's shoulder and nodded slightly, and then he stepped past her, heading for the doorway. They would celebrate another time then, since now wasn't right for her.
  • Author
Namine bit down on her lip, watching Roxas start out of the room. She really did feel bad, but there wasn't much point in the two of them spending time together if she was too tired to enjoy it. Right?
Roxas approached the front door and grabbed the handle, pulling on it before stepping out and shutting the door behind him. He instantly heard the crickets and felt the fresh air, though he was focused on getting home. Sora was surely there, since Kairi was back.

Namine sighed softly, turning off the TV before she started for the stairs. She was tired and emotionally drained and confused in so many ways, but she would try to either sort it out before she slept or fall asleep and ignore it for a while. The problems would still be there tomorrow.

Saturday...

"And here's another of my friends messing around at their spot," Ben said with a small laugh, a smile permanently on his lips. He held out another picture across the table to Namine so she could view it, the boy keeping his promise to bring his own work to share. So far the dinner had gone great, and they just ordered, so there was plenty of time left to chat.

Namine lifted a hand, lightly holding the edge of the picture. She laughed lightly, seeing that his friends were goofballs like hers were. She heard a lot about them earlier in the museum, and now they were sharing the dinner that they won at the nice restaurant. Namine was dressed for the occasion, wearing black pants and a sky blue top that made her eyes shine. Of course, she wasn't looking nice for Ben; she was dressed nice because the restaurant was beautiful and very formal.

Ben took his hand back when Namine had a hold of the picture, his arm resting on the tablecloth. "They're not always that goofy, though. They take their music really seriously," he said with a smile. He already showed her some of them when they were practicing in their usual spot or were playing around with their instruments on the beach, like any other day.
