A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Ben nodded once with the same smile, turning his attention back to Namine's work. He flipped to the next page, his eyes instantly taking in the detail she put into her drawings.

Namine looked back down at her sketchpad, another lovely picture on this page. She would have to take this pad with her to camp; it had some of her best pictures in it. She tried focusing on those thoughts, but again she found herself distracted by Ben's sweet personality. She couldn't help but fall for him, and she felt like a terrible person for doing that when she had a boyfriend.

"I know I've said this a lot within the past few minutes, but..." Ben started, his eyes examining the terrific picture before him. "...You're amazing, Namine." He was talking about the picture, but he wasn't too surprised to feel like he meant more than that.

Namine blushed at the compliment, though Ben was right; he had said it a lot. "Thanks," she said, keeping her gaze on the drawing. But why did she get the feeling he wasn't just referring to her drawing abilities?

"I mean it..." Ben said, his smile fading a little as he found his feelings rising to the surface. He was too shy to actually look at her, so instead he focused on the sketchpad. "You're great."

Namine felt her cheeks get more rosy, and a shy laugh left her lips. "You're embarrassing me," she murmured, looking away from the picture to her lap. She was already shy about her work in the first place too...

Ben blinked at that, tensing. "Oh, s-sorry," he stuttered, feeling like a fool. "I didn't mean to...but, I felt like I should be honest with you." They were close...or at least he thought.

"I appreciate it," Namine assured him, glancing over at him when her embarrassment started to fade. "I'm just really shy, that's all." It wasn't anything unusual, but it was very sweet of him to be so open with her.

"Me too," Ben admitted, turning his head a little to look at her. "But I'm honest too, so I feel like there are some things I need to tell you..." This was it, the moment. But he doubted that something would happen; she had a boyfriend.

Namine tilted her head slightly, curious about what he had to tell her. "What is it?" she asked, prompting him to continue. Whatever it was, she would listen; that was how she was for all of her friends, and Ben was her friend now.

"I...I know we've only known each other for a little while now," Ben said, glancing back down at Namine's sketchpad. "But...I can't help but feel...attracted to you." It wasn't something he could help. It was just there.

Namine looked down at the sketchpad, eyes softening as she hummed in understanding. She thought she picked up that vibe from him...And the bad part was, she felt the same. But she was with Roxas still, and she loved him so much...How could she feel so attracted to Ben?

Ben panicked at Namine's silence, and he felt his heart rate quicken. "I-I mean, we have so much in common," he continued. "You love art and I love art, and you're really sweet and pretty...and we get along really well. Or at least I think so." He glanced away from the sketchpad and over to the side of him she wasn't on. "I like you, Namine. A lot more than I thought I would in such a short time."

Namine bit down on her lip, realizing that Ben thought she was taking this in an awkward way. She wasn't, because she knew where he was coming from. "I shouldn't be so happy to hear that," she said softly, looking at the book he held in his hands.

Ben's eyebrows furrowed a little, and he turned his head to look at Namine once her words set in. "Hm?" he hummed in question. She shouldn't be happy? That meant she was?

"It's just...I've felt the same way you have," Namine confessed, keeping her gaze on the sketchbook. "We just sort of...click, you know? Like, I'm really comfortable with you, and you're charming and sweet and passionate about your art..." He was a wonderful person.

Ben felt himself smile a little at what Namine was saying, relieved to hear that she felt a similar way. But there was still a problem... She had a boyfriend. Roxas.

"...But, this isn't right," Namine said, faintly shaking her head and finally looking up at Ben. "I'm in a relationship." It wasn't fair to Roxas that she was in a relationship with him but gaining feelings for another guy. She felt like such a terrible girlfriend, but she couldn't help it.

Ben's smile was already gone, and he lowered his gaze to the space between them. "I know," he said softly. It was unfair to Roxas, who had no idea, did he? That was why he couldn't have his feelings for Namine known by anyone else. It would be awful.

"...I know we have feelings for each other, but maybe we could just stay really close friends?" Namine suggested softly, looking down at the ground. Roxas wouldn't take it well if she cheated on him in any way, and she would never be able to forgive herself if she hurt him like that.

Ben hummed in agreement. "Of course," he said. If he could have anything, it would be Namine's friendship. "I don't want to come between you and your boyfriend. I'll do my best to keep my feelings hidden." He lifted his gray eyes to her face, hoping that was enough.

Namine looked up at Ben, nodding faintly and smiling in recognition to what he said. She knew he wouldn't try to come between her and Roxas, since he was a really decent guy. But unfortunately, that just made her feel more attracted to him.

Ben met Namine's gaze and couldn't help but smile weakly. He would try his hardest to keep himself cool around her, but he knew it would be tough. He hoped he was strong enough.

Namine looked back down at her pad after a few moments, actually glad that she and Ben talked about this. "We'll see how things go," she said softly. If things ever turned sour between her and Roxas and she was single...well, she knew who to go to.

"Right," Ben agreed softly with a nod. He knew the conversation was over, so he returned his focus to the sketchpad in his hands. He flipped to the next page, trying to get his mind off his feelings for Namine.
