A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Ben smiled a little to Namine and then looked to her friends, nodding politely in a goodbye. He then looked back to Namine before starting toward the security gate, leading the way.

Namine glanced back at her friends but then looked away, knowing that she would turn back if she stared at them too long. She followed Ben's lead and mentally prepared herself for Art Camp, something she was excited to experience.

A weak smile was on Roxas's face as he watched Namine go. He was sad to see her go, but it was her decision. He hoped she had a good time, and enjoyed her time with her friends, including Ben.

A week later...

 

Terra was currently on the beach, though he wasn't the only one there. A few of his other friends were there, Roxas and Riku being two of them. He could tell that Roxas was a bit down, though, probably missing Namine.

Roxas stood on the beach as he held a seashell in his hand, staring down at it. The water washed up by his shoes, but he didn't really care. He couldn't stop thinking of Namine this past week. What was she doing? Who was she with? Was she okay? There were so many questions, and he was sure his friends could see that he was lost in this thoughts lately.

Terra glanced over at Roxas but then looked back to his book, one that he was borrowing from Aqua. He really wanted to know what she expected out of their relationship, so he was forcing his way through a few romance books. It wasn't too pleasant, but he felt it was beneficial.

Riku stood near Sora and Kairi as he looked at Roxas, tilting his head to the side at his sad expression. "Roxas," he called from his spot, causing the blond to turn to him. "It's Ben, isn't it?"

 

Roxas furrowed his eyebrows. "Huh?" he asked. What the...? Why was Riku bringing him up? What about him? He was just thinking about Namine.

 

"Ben's with Namine, and you're upset about it, aren't you?" Riku said, his eyebrows pulling together in seriousness. He was good at reading people, and Roxas was thinking about it. He had to be.

 

"No...I..." Roxas looked down at the seashell in his hand, frowning sadly. "I just miss Namine." And he did. He hadn't thought much about Ben, really. He didn't have a reason to, did he?

Sora glanced from Roxas to Riku, surprised that Riku was being so bold. And it seemed as if he were incorrect for once too, since Roxas said that he only missed Namine. But Sora was confused about why Ben would even be brought into this conversation; he and Namine just met.

Riku shook his head. "Namine is with Ben, Roxas," he repeated. "And deep down, you know that's a problem to you."

 

"Why would it be a problem? They're friends," Roxas said, confused. Why was Riku saying these things? It didn't make any sense. "Unless you think--"

 

"That's exactly what I think," Riku said with a small nod. "I've seen the way he looks at her, Roxas, and I've seen the way she looks at him. There's a connection there that you can't match up to. Am I right?"

 

Roxas wrapped his fingers around the shell in his hand, his eyes turning hard at Riku's accusations. He didn't say anything, mostly because he was thinking of how much Namine talked about Ben and their common interest in art. It was something he would never understand...

Sora looked from Roxas to Riku when his Nobody was silent, the brunet confused. "Riku...?" he said. Where was all this coming from? He knew Riku was bold all the time, but still, this was a bit harsh. And why was he bring it up now?

"I have a point," Riku said, looking over at Sora as he spoke. He then paused, gathering his thoughts as he looked back to Roxas. "I know this is going to hurt your feelings, Roxas, but I think you need to know..." He saw the same confused expression on Roxas's face. "...Namine's going to fall in love with Ben at camp."

 

Roxas's eyes widened. "...What?" he said in disbelief. Was the reason Riku thought that because of their connection? Roxas and Namine had a much stronger connection! ...Didn't they?

Terra set down his book at that, no longer leaning against a tree as he stood upright and looked between Roxas and Riku. Those were some strong words, but he could sort of see where Riku was coming from. There was just something about Namine and Ben that seemed...indescribable.

Riku shrugged. "It's a conclusion I came to when thinking about it lately," he said in his defense. "You see it too, don't you? How she always talks about him, and how happy she gets when she talks about sharing art with him?"

 

Roxas glared at Riku at the remarks, even though he felt a little uneasy at the words. "You're wrong," he said, shaking his head. "Namine loves me! Nobody else!"

 

"I wouldn't be too sure of that," Riku said softly, though he immediately saw Roxas tense. He knew before he said anything that this would spark anger in Roxas, but it had to be done.

"Uh...Riku?" Sora said, his tone one that encouraged caution. Roxas was about ready to flip out, and he could see why. Riku was accusing Namine of falling in love with another person, so of course Roxas wouldn't be happy about that.

Aqua watched from her spot next to Ventus, seeing Riku ignore Sora's warning. Instead, she witnessed Roxas march up to Riku and stand right in front of him, obviously angry.

 

"So what if they have a connection? It's only because of art!" Roxas said, glaring up at Riku as he gave him his own opinion. "That's nothing compared to what Namine and I have, and you know it! So why are you being so stupid?"

 

"The only thing that's stupid is your ignorance," Riku said, pointing a finger at Roxas. "If you would look past your relationship and just think for a second, you would see what I'm talking about."

Oh boy...Sora thought, not sure about what to say or do. This was really heated already...Roxas was defensive, and Riku was so sure that there was something going on between Namine and Ben that even Sora felt unnerved.

"Unlike you, I trust Namine," Roxas said, eyes sharp as he glared at Riku. "She would never." She wouldn't ever cheat on him! That was totally unlike her! Couldn't Riku see that?

 

"Things change, Roxas," Riku said, his voice growing a little louder with impatience. "Get it through your thick skull that it's possible to fall in and out of love. I don't mean to upset you, but if you would just stop being so dimwitted and think of how vulnerable your relationship is right now, you'd see it too!"

 

"What do you mean, vulnerable?" Roxas asked, his hands in fists by his sides. He could feel the seashell's edge digging into his palm, but he didn't care right now. All he cared about was proving Riku wrong.

 

Riku frowned. "Don't you get it, Roxas? Your past with Namine has been nothing but rough. The bad things overrule the good things. Isn't that enough of a hint?"

Riku...Sora silently warned, in disbelief of how harsh he was being. He could guess what Roxas would say now--something about Riku having no place to judge their relationship. That was what Sora would have said if Riku was making crazy accusations about him and Kairi.

"Shut up!" Roxas cried, seething with anger. "What do you know about my relationship with Namine? Not enough to judge, I can tell you that much." He shook his head at Riku in disbelief. "While you've been spying on us, you've seen nothing but the bad things. In my eyes, the good things are ten times more important than the bad things. We've gotten through every rough spot, together. Who are you to tell me what will and won't happen with my relationship with my girlfriend?!"

 

Riku flexed his jaw, knowing those were fighting words. "I've seen Namine to the point of being broken way too many times," he said lowly. "You're not good for her. She's been closer to that point with you than she has been any other time in her life!" He jabbed a finger at Roxas's chest, but the blond only grunted and shoved Riku in the chest.

 

"Back off!" Roxas cried as he pushed Riku, causing him to stumble back a step or two. "You don't know anything!" And he didn't. Namine loved him... She loved Roxas.

Terra's eyes widened at Roxas's action, and he knew then that somebody needed to intervene. It didn't seem like anybody else was going to, so he would. He hurried over, stepping between Roxas and Riku and lifting his arms to keep them separated. "Hey," he said, trying to calm them down. There was no need for them to get physical.

Riku glanced at Terra before his eyes found Roxas, the silver-haired teen fixing his vest from the blond's shove. He could see that Roxas didn't like the intervention, but Riku could also predict that if Roxas came at him again, he would get hurt.

Terra glanced over at Sora, who looked shocked at all this before he focused on the two he was separating. "Pushing and shoving isn't going to solve anything," he said calmly. They needed to stay calm and talk this out.

"Neither does talking," Riku muttered, crossing his arms as he looked to the side. Terra had no right to intervene; he had his own problems to deal with, not theirs. That was what he meant with his mumble.

Terra looked over at Riku, eyebrows furrowing slightly at the mumbled words. But he thought that Riku was referring to Roxas's stubbornness. "Then what are you planning on doing?" he asked seriously. "You brought it up; I doubt you want to walk away when things aren't right."

Riku lifted his eyes from the ground to Terra, and he only stared at him. "What, like you?" he said, too ticked to realize that he was getting snappy with the man who made him his successor. "You haven't exactly solved your problems either."

 

Aqua blinked at that, her eyebrows coming together. Wait... Riku wasn't talking about their problem with Ven, was he?
