Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra's eyes widened but then narrowed, his gaze turning into a glare as he looked at Riku. He lowered his arm on Roxas's side, though he kept up his other arm and pointed at Riku. "Watch it," he said lowly. He was working on setting things right.
Riku only held Terra's glare with his own, only slightly intimidated. It wasn't enough to make him back down, though. "You're a hypocrite, Terra," he said, frowning at the older boy. "You're using this to avoid your own problem with Ven!"

"And now you're bringing up my issues to avoid your own!" Terra said, snapping because Riku was partially right. "So don't start with me about hypocrisy." They were both guilty of it.

"Then stay out of this!" Riku hollered back, lowering his arms from his chest. "You're not helping anything!" He was only making it worse, at least in his eyes.

Aqua knew that somebody needed to step in, and she felt she was the one that needed to do it. She hurried forward, planning to stop across from Terra and on the opposite sides of Riku and Roxas. They needed to calm down.

Terra stared at Riku, though he lowered his arm and curled his hand into a fist. He didn't speak, his glare seeming to say it all. Make me. He wouldn't stay out of this, because he hated seeing his friends fight.
"Enough," Aqua said, stopping across from Terra and closer to Roxas than Riku. She looked at all of them in disapproval, especially Terra and Riku. This had started to get out of hand, and she knew they needed to calm down.

Terra looked at Aqua, some of his anger fading away. Why was she looking at him like that? He was the one trying to break things apart when Riku took a jab at him.

"Why are you doing this?" Aqua asked the three of them, though her eyes stopped on Riku. "Perhaps you're wrong about Namine. I've seen how she looks at Roxas, and I see nothing but unconditional love." With Ben, she wasn't really sure that was it.

Roxas looked at Aqua in a little gratitude, glad to have somebody who saw things the way he did. Namine would never...

Terra looked to Aqua, listening to what she had to say. Unfortunately, he disagreed a little. Yes, Namine loved Roxas, but he could also see a romantic connection between Ben and Namine.

Riku frowned, his eyes now set on Aqua. "Looks can be deceiving," he said simply. "Even the ones that come from the eyes." He knew it, and so did she.

"I beg to differ," Aqua said. "Eyes are the windows to the soul. They don't lie, and I highly doubt Namine is that kind of girl." She didn't look like the type to fib, especially over something like love.

"That's because she's not," Roxas said, his glare set on Riku now as he agreed with Aqua. Namine would never deceive him. That kind of cruelty wasn't in her heart.

You guys are ignoring something else that's been showing in her eyes lately, Terra thought, turning to look at Roxas and Aqua. Hadn't they noticed how Namine was acting a little different lately? She tried so hard to hide it that it was barely noticeable, but Terra noticed. He, like Riku, had a keen eye for that kind of thing.
Roxas's eyes briefly glanced at Terra, though they stuck there. "What?" he asked, eyebrows still furrowed. Terra was giving him and Aqua a look, but what did it mean?
  • Author
"Nothing," Terra said, shifting his gaze to Riku. He started this, so he probably had more to say. Well, he was listening. He didn't necessarily agree with everything that he was saying, but he did have a valid point with how close Namine was to Ben.

"You're both too blind," Riku said with a shake of his head, lifting his hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. He heard Aqua's "tsk" in disapproval, so he knew he had to prove it. "You don't see the faults in others, especially people you care about." He lifted his eyes to them then, lowering his hand. "Well, tough. You can't have light without darkness."

"Are you saying that Namine is darkness, Riku?" Aqua said in disbelief. "That's absurd!" She saw the boy roll his eyes and she curled her hands into fists. "Do not be disrespectful to me, understood?"

Riku lifted an eyebrow. "Or what? You'll imprison me just like you did Sora?" he replied, motioning to his best friend. "Forget it. I'm Keyblade Master, just like you. You have no authority over me."

Sora's eyes widened when he was brought into this, and beside him, Ven had a similar expression. He remembered that...He had done something against Aqua's will, and she used her authority to keep him on the islands. But he didn't like how Riku just brought his mark of Mastery into this...

"That has nothing to do with this, Riku!" Aqua said strictly, frowning at him. "If you were really a Master, you would understand that. I've learned my lesson with authority, and you can't use it for bad reasons." He was trying to avoid it for his own selfishness. That wasn't right. As Master, he needed to fight and not ignore the problem.

"I am a Master," Riku said, taking a step toward Aqua. "And I'll prove it to you." He would too, and there was only one way to truly do that.

"And how do you plan to do that?" Aqua questioned him, lifting an eyebrow in curiosity. He had to have had a plan or else he made himself look like a fool.

Riku smirked, not at all intimidated by Aqua's gaze or question. "I'll train an apprentice," he answered with a nod, confidence in his tone.

  • Author
Sora looked over at Ven, the two of them sharing a look before they looked back to Aqua and Riku. Their expressions both seemed to say what he was thinking: I've got a bad feeling about this. Riku was going to take on an apprentice? Only a few people were available for that role...

Aqua blinked in surprise. An apprentice? For what purpose? To prove that he was a Keyblade Master? "That's ridiculous," she said with a shake of her head. "Taking on an apprentice--"

"Will show how much knowledge I have of my position," Riku interrupted with strict eyes. "If I can't convince you with words, I'll do it with action. It'll settle this."

  • Author
This can't end well, Ventus thought, silently watching the scene in front of him. He didn't get exactly how this would help anything, but he had a feeling that if he said anything, somebody would snap at him and say he was too young to understand.

"So you're going to train an apprentice and depend on him to prove that you are a Master?" Aqua asked, with an arched eyebrow. When Riku nodded, she shook her head. "Riku, Master Yen Sid and I already agreed that you were the right candidate for the Mark. Why must you do this?"

"It's not just about that. Consider it a test of strength, but not just on my part," Riku said. He turned his head then, his aquamarine eyes finding Sora. "It'll test the strength of my apprentice as well."

  • Author
Sora gave Riku a look that conveyed surprise and uncertainty, sure that his expression conveyed his thoughts. You're seriously dragging me into this? This was crazy...

"And to make sure this isn't for nothing, I'm going to make this a challenge," Riku said, turning his sight back to Aqua. "You train an apprentice as well. We'll let this settle this little disagreement."

Aqua's eyebrows furrowed. What? This was ridiculous, but she was very competitive. Though Terra and Ventus were worse than her, she would never run away from such a thing. "As you wish," she said.

  • Author
Great, Sora thought sarcastically. Riku really was dragging him into this. And he wasn't the only one now that Aqua agreed to take on an apprentice. He thought she would have been smarter than that, but he failed to realize just how competitive she was.
"Ventus," Aqua said, letting her eyes find him. Through them, she hoped he understood how sorry she was for dragging him into this disagreement. "You're my choice." He would be her apprentice for this "game".
  • Author
"...Alright," Ven said with a faint nod. He had expected as much, and knowing how stubborn Aqua was, she wouldn't change her mind about this. He just hoped that he would have some fun sparring with her if that was how she chose to "train" him.
