Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas looked between Aqua and Riku in silence, kind of grateful. He didn't really want to have to worry about sparring with either of them for some stupid challenge. He had other things to worry about. He lowered his head then, staring at the ground. Namine... Riku was wrong about her.

"...Do you guys really think this is smart, letting this get physical?" Sora asked Riku and Aqua, eyebrows furrowing slightly as he looked between them. He and Ven would compete against each other, and he didn't really want to fight his friend.
Aqua looked to Riku, crossing her arms. "Since this Master believes so, there's nothing I can do to stop him," she admitted. "I can only meet him head on and see who comes out the victor. That will decide who is right." Though it was a little silly, she had to admit. This was about Namine still, wasn't it? She couldn't really tell anymore.

"Right about what?" Sora challenged with an arched brow. This just came out of nowhere. What was the reason that they were even fighting? If this was still over Namine, then this wasn't right. She had to choose what to do with her life; they had no right to argue over her.

"To see if I'm really a Master and can handle taking on an apprentice," Riku said with a small nod, looking to Sora before Roxas's glare caught his attention. "What?"

"Are you serious?!" Roxas cried. "You were just talking trash about Namine and now it's all about you?" This was unbelievable. This started with Namine, and it wasn't about to end in a contest about Riku. "Some Master," he said, his tone holding bite and sarcasm. "You're nothing but selfish."

  • Author
"He's not trying to be selfish, Roxas," Sora said, looking down at the ground in thought. "He feels like he has a valid point about Namine, but nobody's paying attention. He thinks a stupid competition will make everyone listen to him and agree with his opinion," he concluded, lifting his gaze to Riku at the end. That was it, wasn't it?
Riku rolled his eyes, shaking his head as he closed his eyes. "Right. Pick on the 'bad guy'," he replied lowly. It wasn't that hard to figure out; everyone was against him, and they all expressed it differently. "I get it."

"I'm not picking on you," Sora said, eyebrows furrowing as he looked at the rest of the people standing around. They all were in the wrong here. "What is wrong with you guys? You really want this to come down to a fight?" That was stupid. Physically fighting wasn't going to make things better.
"I'll tell you what's wrong," Roxas said, his blue eyes leaving Sora and looking at everyone. "Nobody can mind their own business." His eyes lingered on Riku, and then he turned around, starting to walk away. He was done with this. He wouldn't stay around for it any longer.

"Roxas!" Sora called, though he doubted that his friend would actually stop walking away. He couldn't just leave when things were like this; this was a terrible mess, and they needed to resolve it right away.

"What?!" Roxas hollered, whirling around. "You want me to stay and listen to this? I just got told my girlfriend was in love with some other guy! Am I not supposed to be upset about that?!" This was so stupid. Why did Riku have to go and ruin everything?

"Roxas, calm down," Kairi said, getting up from her spot. "Please." He just needed to think rationally about this. Namine would never do such a thing, would she? But...why would Riku lie about that?

  • Author
Sora grunted at Roxas's response, not knowing what to say. Yeah, he had a right to be upset, but he and Riku were friends! It wasn't good to walk away from this without making amends.
Roxas's hand balled into a tighter fist, and he felt the shell pierce his palm. "Forget it," he said lowly, turning around and chucking the seashell into the ocean as he walked off. There was nothing more to say. He proved his point: Riku was a jerk, and Roxas wasn't going to stand for it.

Terra watched Roxas walk off in silence, not surprised to see him go. Even if he was sort of on Riku's side, the silver-haired teen was pretty harsh with the delivery of his opinion. And not just with Roxas, but with Terra, too. He couldn't believe he brought Ven into this.
Riku didn't move, just staring at the ground. He told Roxas the truth, and that was all he could do. If Roxas didn't want to believe him, he'd have to find out for himself. Why would he lie about that anyway? I wouldn't, he thought then, closing his eyes.

Sora looked over everyone still standing around, not sure what to say now. He'd have to talk to Roxas later; maybe he could try and make things better...somehow.
Riku sighed and lifted his head, looking over at his best friend. "Sora, we should get started on training," he said. He wanted to get away from all of this tension anyway.
  • Author
Sora arched a brow slightly, just looking at Riku. Didn't he just hear how he thought this whole fighting thing was stupid? No...Sora knew he heard, but he was just ignoring it. And he had a feeling that Riku was going to take out a lot of steam on him now.
Riku saw the look Sora was giving him, but he didn't react. "Let's go," he said, turning and starting down the beach. They would go to the island to train.
  • Author
Sora glanced over at Kairi, feeling a little defeated. Riku wasn't going to listen to anything right now, so he'd just have to go along with this training thing and try talking some sense into him later. He turned and started walking, the tension in the air enough to convince him not to speak.
Aqua watched Riku walk off in silence, and she realized that he wasn't joking about this challenge. Of course, she didn't think he was to begin with. Riku wasn't one to fool around, but what did that mean with things regarding Namine? Was he telling the truth?
  • Author
So, I wonder when Ven and I will have to fight, Sora thought, not thrilled by that idea. If it was for something fun, then yeah, he would have looked forward to it. But this...it was so dark. Nothing good could come of this.
Riku was human, so naturally he felt guilty for what he said. But did he regret it? No. He had been telling the truth, and that was never something to regret.

A week later

Today was the day. Riku and Aqua both had a week to train their apprentices, and today was the day that Sora and Ven would face off. Riku trained Sora really hard, giving him practically no free time at all. He even sneaked into his house in the morning and woke him up to get in extra training time. Sora was surprised that he was actually allowed to sleep in today, still resting in bed a few hours past when Riku normally dragged him out of the house.

Kairi saw Sora's house just ahead, and she picked up her pace a little, approaching it in silence. She was worried about him. Lately, he'd been so tired that she barely saw him. And when she did, he was training with Riku. He'd been so rough on Sora lately. It was like he was taking out his frustration on his best friend.
