Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I'll leave you to get ready," Kairi said, looking up at Sora's face then. She didn't want to cause him to be late. Riku wouldn't allow it, most likely.

Sora nodded, not moving because of Kairi's hand still on his chest. "Maybe I'll see you later today?" he said, hoping that he would. He hoped nothing bad happened in this fight, though he had a feeling it would be brutal.
Kairi smiled weakly, rubbing Sora's chest briefly. "There's no 'maybe' about it," she replied softly. She would definitely see him later.

Sora felt a small smile appear on his lips, something natural caused by Kairi's motion and her words. "I'll see you later, then," he said with a faint smile.
Kairi nodded and leaned down, pecking Sora on the cheek. "Good luck," she wished him gently, pulling her hand back from his chest as she stood up. She had a feeling he would be alright, but there was always the possibility of Ven doing better. Kairi tore her eyes from Sora and started toward his door, knowing that she had to leave him so he could get ready.

Sora pushed himself up so he was sitting, though he felt more soreness with the movement. He watched Kairi go, but before she was out of the room, he spoke. "Love you, Kai."
Kairi turned around, her hand on the doorknob. Her eyes found Sora and she smiled softly. "I love you too," she said. She would forever and ever, no matter what.

Sora smiled faintly at Kairi, just staying seated for a few more moments. He'd wait until she was gone before he got ready and left for the island. He wouldn't have been surprised if Riku was over there right now, waiting for him.
Kairi tore her eyes away from Sora and opened the door, stepping out and closing it behind her in silence. She would go home and read a nice book while she waited for Sora's match to end. Maybe then she could be with him for the day.

It took Sora about fifteen minutes to get dressed and eat breakfast, but then he was off to the island, since that was where they would have the fight. He arrived at the dock about twenty minutes before the fight would begin, prepared for Riku to scold him for showing up so close to the battle.
Riku currently had his arms crossed, his gaze leaving the ground to glance up at Aqua and Ven. The former was giving the boy a pep-talk before the match, but Riku's apprentice wasn't even here yet. He didn't see him, his back to the dock.

Sora tied his boat to the dock, seeing that everyone else was already there. Oh well, he was used to being the last to come, since he had a habit of running late. He hopped up on deck and then started walking towards Riku, not saying anything. There was nothing left to say.
Riku heard a noise behind him and turned around, lowering his arms. He saw Sora, and his eyebrows remained furrowed. Good, he was here. He couldn't do this without him.

Sora glanced over at Aqua and Ven when he saw Riku's expression, but he didn't stare. He stopped by Riku and looked back up at the person who was his "Master" for a week, wondering what he was going to do now that he was here.
"You look terrible," Riku said instantly, seeing the look on Sora's face. He wasn't going to beat around the bush, since Sora looked like he could use more rest. Maybe that was because he had been training him the last seven days, all day.
  • Author
"Thanks," Sora said, shrugging. It was about time Riku noticed how worn out he was from the week of training, but it was too late for that. Today was the big fight.
Riku lifted one of his eyebrows at the remark, but he faced Aqua and Ven again. "Anyway, I'm sure you already know how to avoid Ven's speed," he said, crossing his arms again. "But be on the lookout for any magic. Aqua's best at that." Since she was Ven's trainer, he was probably going to rely heavily on that.

Sora silently nodded, glancing over at Aqua and Ven before he looked towards the sand. Riku had him working on defense a lot of the week, since he couldn't be faster than Ven. He had to be prepared to take a few blows but deliver heavier ones in order to win this thing.
Riku remained silent after that, not knowing what more to tell Sora. He'd told him countless times other things to do, a lot of it spanning over the last seven days. But now it was up to Sora to pull through.

Ven finished listening to what Aqua had to say, nodding slightly to say he got it. He knew what he had to do in this battle to fight Sora, so he would do his best not to let Aqua down. He looked over at Sora and Riku, wondering if they were ready.
Riku saw Aqua look over at him and Sora as well, so he decided it was time. "Now or never," he said, glancing over at Sora. "You ready?" He better have been; all of that training wasn't for nothing.

Sora hummed, glancing over at Riku before he looked forward. He wordlessly summoned his Keyblade into his grasp, seeing Ven do the same from his spot with Aqua. It was time to get this over with.
Aqua lowered her gaze to Ven then, her eyes soft but strict at the same time. She knew this wasn't fair to him, but he complied. She couldn't ask anymore from him, since he'd put in so much effort for Riku's challenge.

Ven glanced over at Aqua briefly before he started forward, Sora doing the same and meeting him halfway. They didn't speak, not needing to. They talked earlier this week and both agreed to fight the best that they could. He switched his Keyblade to his other hand and offered his hand to shake Sora's, the brunet taking him up on that offer and shaking his hand as a sign of good sportsmanship.
Aqua glanced over at Riku at the handshake, meeting his gaze once he sensed her stare. She nodded to him, and he faintly did the same. This was his idea, and she complied for his satisfaction. This wasn't necessarily her favorite option to proving he was a true Master; something much better could have been done, but he wanted to test his authority and strength, as well as the strength he would provide to an apprentice through training. If Sora did well enough, she would believe Riku, even though she already did. Why else would she have selected him, alongside Master Yen Sid, to be a Master?
