Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora withdrew from the handshake when Ven did, both of them stepping back slightly and getting into their battle stances. This was it...Who was going to attack first? He knew Riku told him to attack first, but now he wasn't so sure if he wanted to do that. He and Ven cautiously walked around each other, neither of them attacking right away. In the back of his mind, Sora wondered how much the coaches would be calling out from the sidelines to tell their apprentices what to do.
Aqua let her eyes rest on Ventus then, the girl surveying his movements, as well as Sora's, with a keen eye. "Patience, Ven," she called, voice calm. She knew how impatient he could sometimes get, but in battle, there was never any rush, especially this one.

Sora heard Aqua's comment, and so did Ven, the two of them continuing to circle each other. But enough was enough; Sora just wanted to get this fight over with. He ran the small distance between them and swung only for Ven to pull a reversal and swing at him from behind. He grunted, stumbling forward and then spinning around only to see that Ven was looking at Sora expectantly. He wasn't attacking again right away. Sora started walking again like he had been before, Ven doing the same as they stared at each other.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed more deeply. Sora was getting hit already? "C'mon, Sora!" he called. He was better than that, so he could do better than that.

Ven seemed to sympathize with Sora when he heard Riku's call, so this time, he attacked first so Sora could have a better chance to defend himself and land a hit. Sora dodged the attack from Ven and then swung his Keyblade only to have it blocked, though he didn't give up. He and Ven kept swinging and blocking each other, neither getting in a hit no matter how skilled or powerful their swings were.
Aqua watched Ven, eyes narrowed slightly in seriousness. "Good, Ven!" she praised, seeing him block some of Sora's attacks. He was doing well, his speed helping.

Ven was knocked back by one of Sora's swings, though he landed smoothly on his feet in the sand a few feet away. He expected Sora to charge forward again, but instead, he sent ice at him. Ventus grunted and jumped over it, though Sora came in then to attack. His speed helped him greatly, making him able to defend himself against Sora's hard swings.
Riku's hands were balled into fists at his sides in anticipation and anxiousness. He watched Sora and Ven closely, not looking away even at Aqua's calls to Ventus.

Sora felt himself getting pushed closer to the water due to how Ven managed to turn things against him, and he stepped back into the water to keep blocking the attacks. Ven pressed against his blade at one point and then jumped back, jumping in the air and using Ragnarok against him. Sora grunted and ignored the water that slowed his jump, jumping backwards into deeper water to avoid the rays that came at him. Only one hit him, though it made him grunt roughly. Ouch.

"Good, Ventus!" Aqua called, seeing how he was staying on the offensive. Very good, and he was using magic to stun Sora. Excellent.

"Agility, Sora!" Riku called. "Agility!" He needed to be fast and flexible to avoid Ven's attacks, and then get back on the offensive.

Ven saw Sora rushing back towards the shore, soaking wet. He knew one move that he could do to do some real damage, though it was harsh. He mentally apologized to Sora and pointed his Keyblade to the sky, casting Thunderbolt.

Sora reached the shore just when Ven cast the spell, a strong bolt of lightning coming down from the sky. He was especially vulnerable to that attack because of how wet he was, and that only made him feel like he was burning that much more. He cried out in pain, his whole body feeling like it was burning terribly.

Riku's eyes widened at the attack, his eyes darting from Ven to Sora as his friend cried out. He took a step forward but forced himself to stay back; he couldn't intervene.

Sora recovered from the attack in time to see Ven rush forward, and he had no choice but to depend on magic himself. He cast Fire, the orbs appearing around him and striking Ventus. The blond grunted and was forced back, giving Sora another moment to recover. That really hurt.
"Again, Sora!" Riku cried. He had the upper hand with that attack, and until he could move quickly, he needed to rely on magic. It didn't matter what spell, just as long as he did it.

Shut up, Riku, Sora wanted to shout. He could barely move; he couldn't retaliate right away. He used a thunder spell to get Ven off guard and then forced himself to run forward and swing at Ven, getting in a few hits and knocking the blond back again. but Ven was quickly back on his feet and attacking again, the two of them not giving up.
Aqua cheered Ventus on with guidance and praise as the fight continued, giving nothing but encouragement. He could do this. He had done very well during the last week while she trained him, though they mostly focused on his magic abilities, which was something she excelled in. She hoped it helped.

Ven didn't get much of a chance to use magic in the battle, since Sora made sure to keep things in close range so he couldn't be stunned by another lightning attack. But that also meant Sora couldn't use magic. It was sword-to-sword now, and they both seemed evenly matched. Ven had speed, but Sora had more strength. Neither of them were overpowering each other, just getting worn down.
Riku walked to the side a little, moving with Sora and Ven as they fought. "Good, Sora," he said loudly enough for his friend to hear. He was doing well.

Sora was hit by one of Ven's attacks, forcing him to stumble back. And then Ven used some kind of Tornado spell that shifted the air currents, knocking him off balance. He looked up and saw Ven coming at him, and he was still thinking offensively. He swing for Ven's stomach while his opponent swung for his head.

Ven's attack landed, but Sora's landed at the same time. Both of them grunted in pain, Ven stumbling back and falling down to his knees due to the strength behind the hit. And Sora fell down where he was, catching himself before he fell fully by stabbing his Keyblade into the ground next to him. He groaned shortly in pain, hearing Sora have a similar reaction. Those were crucial blows, and now neither of them could follow it up. Was this fight over?

Aqua took a small step forward, eyes widening when both boys fell to the ground. Were they alright? She saw that Riku have a similar reaction, but he didn't move either.

Sora panted, his head pounding front the hit. He looked up at Ven and saw him breathless as well, neither of them making a move to attack each other. Sora really didn't even want to. He just wanted the burning and headache to end.

Aqua glanced at Riku before her eyes went back to Sora and Ventus. She then grunted, running forward to make sure they were alright. For now, the fight was over.

Riku reached out a hand to Aqua, but he knew there was no stopping her. She was going in, which meant the fight was done for now. He jogged forward as well, approaching the two fighters.

Ven lowered his gaze to the ground, coughing slightly when he finally got his breath back. He had an arm around his stomach, his other hand holding the Keyblade by his side. He didn't want to fight Sora anymore; he was tough.
"Ven, Sora," Aqua said between breaths, slowing next to both of them. "Are you alright?" she asked, kneeling down by them and looking at each with concerned eyes. Within her sight, she saw Riku show up on the opposite side.

Sora lifted his head and nodded slightly to Aqua, catching Ven do the same thing. They were both conscious, weren't they? Though Sora felt like passing out, he would keep his grip on reality. He had no other choice.
