Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua's eyes moved to Riku, who stood closer to Sora than to Ven. "Heal him," she said to him, motioning to Sora with her head. She would help out Ven. This was just a match; they didn't have to suffer for it.

Riku nodded and looked to Sora, though he reached into his pocket to grab one of his Hi-Potions. Close up, he knew Sora needed it.

Sora lowered his head, shutting his eyes as his breathing started to calm down. His eyes were moist behind his eyelids, the brunet still feeling pain from the lightning attack. If Riku and Aqua said they would fight more after this, he was walking away. He was done with this.
Riku heard Aqua cast a heal spell nearby as he pulled a potion out of his pocket. He threw it into the air above Sora's head and watched it burst just in front of him, seeing it sprinkle down over Sora's body.

Ven looked up at Aqua after the spell was cast, feeling his wounds fade away when the refreshing spell washed over him. He nodded a faint thanks, glad that he felt better.
Aqua nodded slightly to Ven at his small motion, and then she lifted her sight to Riku as he knelt down beside Sora. "No more," she said. "The fight's over." It was too brutal, and she was surprised she actually agreed to it. Two friends beating each other up because of a point that needed to be proven? It was absurd.

Sora glanced up at Aqua, glad to hear her say that. But he wondered how Riku would react, since he was the one to suggest this idea. He looked over at him, wondering what he would say.
Riku saw the look on Aqua's face and then felt another gaze on him. His eyes found Sora's, witnessing the exhaustion on his face. "...You're right," he said with a nod. It was time to realize the important things, and that wasn't himself and his proposition.

Sora propped himself up so that he wasn't depending on the Keyblade that was stabbed into the sand, the brunet summoning it away. He glanced up and saw Ven summon his weapon away as well, not surprised. Neither of them wanted to fight in the first place, so they were both feeling glad this was over.
Aqua sat back on her knees, though her eyes lingered on Riku. "Your point's proven," she said with a nod. "You can train an apprentice to fight well, but next time, make sure they're well enough to do so." She looked over at Sora after she said this, seeing how exhausted he appeared. She noticed it before the match even began, and when she looked back at Riku, she could tell that he felt at least a little bad about it.

Sora kept his gaze down, aware that Aqua was talking about him. He didn't even want to look up to see how Riku felt about this. He didn't seem to care earlier that week, so why would he care now? Sora tried not to think that way for long, though, knowing his tiredness was affecting his emotions.
Riku didn't say anything, his eyes on Sora for a moment before they went to Aqua and Ven. "We should get home," he said. There was nothing more to do here, and since Sora looked horrible, he could probably use a nap.

Ven nodded slightly, setting a hand on the ground and pushing himself up. He was sorta hungry, so maybe he'd go home and make a sandwich. Then maybe he and Aqua could spar more, like they had during the past week. It had been fun.

"You guys go ahead," Sora said, glancing over at Riku before he looked back to Aqua and Ven. "I'm gonna chill here." He didn't feel like paddling back, and this was a nice place to rest anyway.

Riku looked down at Sora as Aqua got up from her spot as well. He wasn't sure he wanted to go just yet; there was tension between him and Sora. He didn't like it, even if it was his fault.

Ven saw that Riku didn't look like he was leaving, since he was staring at Sora. He glanced over at Aqua before he waved to his friends still kneeling on the ground, starting towards his boat.
Aqua caught Riku's eyes when he looked up at her, and she nodded to him silently. Ven had told her that when he saw Sora, he looked a mess. Now she was sure she knew why. Riku. The girl turned and started after Ven, heading for the dock.

Sora set a hand in the sand pushed himself up, grunting slightly. He wasn't sure if he would fall asleep lying on the beach here or go up by the Papou tree and rest there, or even go to the other side of the island. But he realized that Riku seemed to want to talk first.
Riku saw Aqua and Ven get a good distance away, and he looked to Sora, taking that as his cue. "I think I know why you lost," he said, one hand on his knee as he stayed on the ground next to his friend.

"I'd say it was a tie," Sora said, figuring that it was easier to say that than talk about what else Riku said. He had a feeling he knew why he wasn't at his best during the fight too. He was tired and mad at Riku for all the stuff that happened in the past week.
"Whichever," Riku said with furrowed eyebrows. "Either way, it was my fault." He saw the looks Sora had been giving him over the week, and heard some of his remarks during training. It was him, wasn't it?

Sora diverted his gaze to the ground on the other side of him, not responding. Yeah, Riku was to blame. Like Kairi had told him earlier that day, Riku was being a bully all week. That was the best way to describe his behavior.
"Look, I'm sorry," Riku said with a small nod. He let his eyes divert to the sand. "I was too hard on you. I should've lightened up a bit." He was just frustrated with Roxas and everything. He didn't mean to take it out on Sora.
  • Author
"A bit?" Sora said without thought, eyebrows furrowing slightly. Riku needed to chill out more than just a little bit. But he already knew that, so there was no point in Sora repeating it. "Sorry," he said. He shouldn't have pointed out the obvious.
"Don't. You're right," Riku acknowledged with a nod. "I was stupid and a jerk. Things just get under my skin sometimes, and I take it out on the wrong people." Especially friends. That was stupid of him.

Sora nodded slightly, glancing over at Riku before he looked back towards the ground. He knew where Riku was coming from; this wasn't the first time he took his anger out on the wrong person. But what really bothered Sora was how he played with his emotions all week, telling him not to let him down.
"I don't expect forgiveness," Riku said, pushing himself up from the ground. "I wouldn't forgive myself if I was you, but it doesn't matter. The fight's over and done, and it's time for you to rest up." I trained you a little too hard this last week...
