Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Ven had his arms folded over his chest, his gaze down on the ground in thought. He was thinking along the same lines as Sora--or at least, he was trying to. He was so exhausted after the battle, his fatigue from earlier catching up with him once more. He tried hiding it from Aqua and Terra, though, since they worried too easily over him.
Riku lowered his sight to the ground after a few minutes, but then he turned around. His arms fell back down to his sides as he looked across his shoulder at the man who had given him the Keyblade. Terra. There had been a lot of thought over him as Riku grew up, since he hadn't seen him until this day. Why was he chosen for the Keyblade by him, and not Sora, who eventually got it as well? What made him so special that Terra chose him?

Terra furrowed his eyebrows slightly, feeling a gaze on him. When he looked up and saw that it was Riku, his expression relaxed. "What now?" he asked aloud, all of them having been in silence for a while now. He liked the peace, but he felt as if it was time to get down to some work. The question was directed to anyone, but he kept his gaze on Riku, assuming that he was the "leader" of his group of friends.

Riku pushed his questions aside for now, knowing that he could ponder over them some other time. "We need to track down Master Xehanort and Vanitas as soon as possible," he said after a few seconds of thinking over the question. He would like to stay home for a little while, but there was a small problem with that. "The longer we wait, the greater chance they have to getting an advantage over us."

Roxas opened his eyes, lifting his head and looking over toward Riku, not letting go of his soulmate. By the looks of it, they would be leaving just as soon as they got here, and though he didn't like the idea, he knew that there was no other choice. To make sure that everyone remained safe from harm, Master Xehanort and Vanitas needed to be taken down as soon as possible.

Kairi gripped onto Sora a little more tightly at Riku's declaration, not liking the sound of everyone going back after those two people. They were a huge threat to everyone, incredibly dangerous. After what just happened to Sora, she didn't want him to leave her again.

"But we have no idea where either of them are..." Ven said softly, lifting his eyes and looking at the people around him. Xehanort and Vanitas could have been anywhere by now. How were they supposed to find him? And if they did, would they even be ready for battle? All of them were probably exhausted.

Sora listened into the conversation from his place, his head turned in that direction. Ventus was right; they had no way of knowing where Master Xehanort and Vanitas were. But they couldn't just sit around, could they? They had to do something...

"Our best option would be to split up," Aqua said, her eyes going from Ven to the three teen warriors. "Searching the worlds is the only chance we have at finding either of them, and if we find one, we'll find the other." They were never too far from each other, from what Aqua could remember in the past.

Riku nodded slightly in silence, agreeing with that. But even he knew that everyone needed a while to rest up. With six against two, he guessed they could afford to give Vanitas and Xehanort a head start.

"We should rest up before we do anything," Terra said, looking over Roxas, Sora, and Riku before he looked over at his two friends. That had been a hard battle for all of them, and it looked to him like Ven was especially tired.
Aqua met Terra's gaze and nodded. "Right," she said in agreement. It had been a rough few days, and certainly they all felt the same way: weak and tired. A little relaxing today would be good for all of them.

Sora looked over the group, realizing that not all of them were up to speed on everything. Roxas, Namine, Kairi, and Terra were probably wondering why Roxas and Ven looked alike, among many other things. "We should talk about everything," he declared, loosening his hold on Kairi slightly. "To make sure everyone's up to speed." Things happened so quickly lately; he was sure nobody would mind a recap.

Kairi turned her head, lifting her eyes to look up at Sora when he spoke. She was glad he said something, considering how out of the loop she felt at this point. What happened while they were all gone? Why did Roxas and Ventus look so similiar, as well as the boy she loved and Vanitas? What was Master Xehanort's goal? Kairi would appreciate a clear explanation.

Roxas nodded to Sora, looking at his best friend. He lifted a hand to the back of Namine's head, lightly running it down the length of her hair. He didn't want to let go of her, but he knew that some topics needed to be discussed. One he was especially interested in was his and Ventus's looks, which was a little...freaky. But Roxas was going to keep Namine close to him the whole time, not wanting her to be very far away from him after his near-death experience.

Sora saw the looks of agreement on the facial expression of all his friends, and so he nodded once in seriousness. They would have to start with the beginning, which was eleven years ago with Terra, Aqua, and Ven fighting Master Xehanort and Vanitas. And then they would talk about Xehanort's Heartless and Nobody, and somewhere in there, they would probably have to talk about Riku's experience in the Darkness. It wasn't a pleasant topic, but in order for the three Keyblade warriors from the past to really grip what happened, they needed the facts.
Kairi knew then that it was time to let Sora go; their embrace had gone on long enough. The girl brought her arms back a little, her hands finding Sora's sides as she pulled back a little. She was very comfortable in his arms, but their business was much more important right now.

A while later, the sun was setting in the sky as they finished recounting everything that occurred. Roxas and Sora had filled in everyone on Vanitas's trip to the Islands and Sora's awakening, and the others filled in Sora, Roxas and the girls on what happened at the Keyblade Graveyard. As important as this discussion was, though, not all of them were awake during it. Sora looked a few feet in front of him, seeing one member of the group leaning against the shack his his chin to his chest. Ventus had fallen asleep a while ago, but nobody else in the circle had bothered to wake him. He wasn't too far out of the loop in the first place, and besides, he needed the rest.

Aqua sat beside Ventus and Terra, the young woman hugging her knees as she had been listening or cooperating with some of the stories shared between the group. She'd noticed Ven fall asleep a long time ago, but considering what happened when Vanitas was extracted and how tired he had looked, she let him rest. If he needed a retelling of anything he missed, she or Terra would give him a brief recap. But Aqua's eyes were focused on Riku right now, who looked like he was lost in thought.

Riku had his arms crossed, sitting Indian style in the sand as he stared at the ground. He was thinking over his recent experiences in Darkness. That had to be told to Terra, Aqua, and Ventus, and he had to do a lot of the explaining. He was uncomfortable with it, since he didn't like remembering any of it. Riku knew that he had been foolish to fall to Xehanort's plans, since it had really been the evil old man back then. But still, he wasn't happy about it.

Terra furrowed his eyebrows, having been caught up on the basics of all the situations in the past. But he was curious about this Heartless of Xehanort's, who they now believed to have been created so that nobody could follow Master Xehanort when he explored more regions of the Darkness. "Tell me more about Xehanort's Heartless," he requested, looking at Sora when he spoke. He figured he would be more knowledgeable on the topic, since Riku hadn't hinted on where he was during that time.
Riku closed his eyes at Terra's request, knowing what was to come. He knew Sora would point that position to him, and he would let him do it. Whatever they wanted to know, he probably knew a majority of it; he had been stuck with him for a long time.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows slightly, looking down at the ground. He wasn't about to squeal on Riku, so he kept it simple. "He was cruel and cunning, a lot like Master Xehanort." He had driven a wedge between him and his best friend by making him turn to the Darkness, and he still didn't like recalling that time.
Aqua listened intently, glancing from Riku to Sora. But then she looked back again. Riku seemed very bothered by this topic, given his facial expression and his posture. Regardless, she looked back to Sora, waiting to hear a little more detail on the Heartless that had already been revealed to them earlier on in this deep discussion.

"It's best to leave it at that," Sora declared, keeping his gaze downward when he spoke. There was no need for them to know the specifics behind that situation; they had all the information that they needed to know.

Terra's eyebrows furrowed, the man not taking the hint to not ask anymore questions. "Why?" he asked Sora directly, putting him on the spot. Did something happen that they didn't know about? If that was the case, he and Aqua needed to be informed immediately; they had a right to know about this Heartless who was a villain the Master had created.

Riku's eyebrows furrowed even more deeply over his closed eyes at Terra's persistence. He tensed, knowing that they weren't going to give up on this. Why would they? Xehanort's Heartless had been a huge threat to the worlds back then, and a brief description just wouldn't do it.

Aqua turned her head to look at Terra upon the silence to his question. There was something they weren't being told, wasn't there? Aqua focused on the two best friends that were sitting near each other. "What happened, you two?" she asked gently, trying to encourage them to open up. It must have really been bad if they weren't willing to spill.

Sora shook his head slightly, noticing Riku tense beside him. He wouldn't say it, for the sake of his friend. Riku never did like hearing Sora's side of the story, because he knew how wrong he had been to turn against him back then. Riku hardly even talked about things on his side; he just said that he was wrong to take the path that he did. Terra and Aqua were asking for a lot, whether they realized it or not.

Aqua's eyebrows furrowed in seriousness. "Boys..." she said slowly, her tone motherly in a way. She wanted to know what was going on, right away. Secrets couldn't afford to be kept here, especially under these circumstances.

Riku opened his eyes, glaring at the ground at Aqua's tone. Even though she was the one continuing, he knew that Terra wouldn't stop until he got answers either. Riku hated this...but he didn't have a choice, did he?

Sora kept his gaze downward, feeling Aqua and Terra's gazes on him and Riku. He wouldn't say it, no matter how much they prodded him. But it would be harder to get them to stop asking questions now that they knew that something happened back then.

"...It was my fault," Riku finally admitted, his gaze stuck on the ground. Everything that happened a few years ago was because of him, because he opened the door to the Islands and allowed Maleficent and Xehanort's Heartless to influence him closer to the Darkness.

Aqua's eyebrows remained furrowed in concentration, her eyes on Riku now as she listened intently. What was he talking about? What was his fault?

Sora looked over at Riku when he spoke, some sadness appearing in his eyes. He couldn't really go against him...Riku had really messed up and done some awful things back then. But of course, Sora forgave him, which was why he didn't ever bring it up.
