A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Roxas blinked at the words, truly caught off guard. Namine never raised her voice at him before, so it wasn't something he was really familiar with. "What're you talking about?" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows slightly. "This isn't all about me. It's about you and him too!"

Namine furrowed her eyebrows, hands coming undone behind her back. "You know what, no," Namine said, faintly shaking her head. "This is about us. And what you've done to our relationship by ignoring me when I needed you."

Roxas shook his head, his eyes wider than normal in surprise, fright, and disbelief combined. "What?" he said breathlessly. How was this his fault? He didn't understand. "Because I ignored phone calls?"

"You ignored my phone calls and kept a huge secret from me!" Namine said, eyes locked on Roxas now. "You didn't think I had a right to know that you were concerned over our relationship?" That was stupid. She thought Roxas had learned to be more open and honest with her, but apparently she was wrong.

Roxas frowned, lowering his gaze. "I already told you," he said quietly, though his voice was tight at the accusations being thrown at him. "I didn't want to ruin your fun at Art Camp." Even if it wasn't fun for her, he didn't want to risk her finding out about his concerns. It wouldn't have been fair.

"I don't care if it would have ruined Art Camp," Namine said with a sigh. Roxas just wasn't understanding her. "If we're in a relationship, I need to know certain things! And one of thing I need to know now is how you care so much about Ben but you haven't asked once why I needed you so badly. That shows your priorities." He was more concerned about Ben than her well being.

"Namine...stop it," Roxas said, lifting his eyes to her now. Anger was present in their bright blue color, mostly because she kept pinning this on him. He accepted the fact that the phone call thing was his fault, but what about everything else? What about his suspicions? That wasn't his fault.

Namine stared back into Roxas's eyes, and though she normally was intimidated by his anger, today she wasn't. She was over the edge, and her anger was unleashed now. "You don't care, do you?" she asked, referring to why she needed him. Even after she directly brought it up, he still didn't ask!

"It's not that," Roxas said, running a hand through his hair as he glanced away. But then his eyes found Namine again. "I just wish you would think for a second! I had no reason to distrust you when you left, and I told Riku as much when he brought this whole stupid thing up. But you haven't even denied Ben, have you? What am I supposed to focus on?!"

"You're supposed to focus on our relationship, which is on thin ice right now!" Namine responded. She realized she was avoiding Ben, but oh well. What was Roxas going to do even if he was right about that?

"What do you think I'm doing, Namine?!" Roxas hollered despite their already close proximity. "Making up some stupid lie? I love you! Why would I do that if I was worried?!" His hands were in fists now, the boy frustrated beyond belief. What was going on with her? Couldn't she see how much he cared? That was why he was asking all these questions!

"If you loved me, you would have answered the phone," Namine said lowly. She hadn't just been calling for comfort; she had wanted reassurance for their relationship. But now she was convinced that she had serious problems with Roxas. Serious enough that she was ready to end their relationship right now.

"That doesn't make any sense," Roxas said at the same low tone. "Just because I didn't answer doesn't mean that I don't love you, Namine. I shouldn't have had a reason to avoid answering the phone, but I did." He lifted a hand and pointed a finger at her. "And that was because of you. This time, this problem isn't my fault."

Namine's eyes narrowed at the finger pointed at her, her gaze going from that to Roxas's eyes again. "You're mad because I made a new guy friend that I'm close to? I have other close guy friends, Roxas! You shouldn't view Ben any differently!" She hadn't given him an excuse to; she kept her feelings for Ben hidden.

"You know just as well as I do that Riku can read people like an open book," Roxas said tightly, his finger still pointed at Namine. "I denied everything he said at first, but then I realized that Riku wouldn't say something so hurtful as some stupid joke."

"So you trust him more than you trust me," Namine said, hands curled up by her sides. But the she lifted one and smacked Roxas's finger away, sick of seeing that thing pointed at her.

"Clearly, since we're having this discussion," Roxas replied lowly, his hand curling into a fist at his side after Namine hit it away. "Besides, you still haven't told me the truth. You keep dodging the question."

Namine kept her gaze on Roxas, hands by her sides. "I think I have the right to have a secret or two after all that you've kept from me," she spat. He always kept secrets from her, to "protect" her. But they both knew things blew up more when he kept things from her. He wasn't learning from his mistakes.

Roxas blinked at that, but then he grew angry once more. "That's not fair," he said lowly. That was a cheap shot, and he didn't appreciate it at all. She was pulling his mistakes into this, and that was completely uncalled for.

"Neither is making assumptions about me and Ben before you even talked to me about it," Namine returned in the same tone. He listened to Riku and didn't even try talking things out with Namine. How was that fair to her?

"So when I ask you about it, that's not trying to talk to you?" Roxas answered, sarcasm heavy in his tone. He crossed his arms, lifting an eyebrow at her. "You're the one avoiding the topic. Don't pin this on me."

"I don't think I have to say anything," Namine said, eyebrows furrowed at Roxas's sarcasm. "You've already reached your own conclusion about this. What I say obviously won't make a difference to you." He already believed there was something going on with her and Ben, whether she confessed it or not.

"You're doing nothing to prove me wrong," Roxas said, shaking his head a little. "What am I supposed to think?" He hated this! Why was this happening? All because he ignored a few stupid phone calls? No, it was more than that. A lot more.

"Like I said, I think I have the right to have a few secrets," Namine responded lowly. After everything Roxas kept from her in the past, it was time she finally kept something from him. She could only imagine how he'd react if he knew how close she and Ben really were.

Roxas made a sound of distaste, looking away. So she did have something with him? If she didn't, she wouldn't have called it a secret. Namine... She had feelings for somebody else?
